Brought my 2019 VW in for a simple oil change, tire rotation, and battery replacement. When I got it back, the front left bumper was damaged - damage that was absolutely not there before, which the dealership verified. I take meticulous care of this car. It's my secondary, garage-kept vehicle, only driven home from the dealership after service. When I pointed out the damage, the manager said they would "detail it." After doing so, they admitted it made no difference and then refused to take responsibility or further action. To make matters worse, the battery can only be replaced through the dealership, which feels like a built-in trap for customers. They damaged my car, returned it that way, and refused to fix it. My wife took our Volkswagen Tiguan in because the check engine light came on. They told her that she needed new brakes and new windshield wipers. Something I just had replaced two months ago. My wife didn't know that and (while I was in California having a surgery ) they took full advantage of my wife's lack of knowledge of vehicle's and being a woman. This is predatory behavior. They overcharged her at least $600 for work that did not need to be done. The only thing it needed was a new MAPS sensor, which they didn't even replace. read more

I've had three different VWs serviced at this dealership during the past 8 years and have always had wonderful service. My Service Advisor Kathy is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful whenever I arrive to have my vehicle serviced. She is one of the major reasons why I bring my business to Prestige. The waiting area is comfortable and there are snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and bottled water available for the customers. My vehicle is well taken care of by the mechanics and is washed and vacuumed afterwards. Overall, the cost for having my vehicle serviced is very reasonable. What a wonderful experience! read more

I am just so dissatisfied with your service department/ and now your detailers or who ever does the car washes at your dealership. Every single time I have brought my vehicle in for any type of service at Prestige VW their has been an issue. When I drop my vehicle off, I expect my property to be respected. Your technicians don't know how to put a simple rubber ring, (on a VERY important filter (DSG fluid and filter change a $500+ service)) where transmission fluid is leaking everywhere. or they mess up my front sensor (error stated: front assist not available), and now you guys have added scratches and dints to the list. Mind you, I am someone who cleans their car by hand weekly and notices any imperfections on my car. After Prestige VW serviced my car today, (July 20th 2022) they had washed it. As soon as I pulled into my drive way, walking away from my car. I noticed a huge scratch/scuff mark in the shape of an "X". Upon further inspection, I noticed a ding on the hood (right on the body line of the hood.) and a scratch on the trunk of my car. Like I said, I wash my car weekly and know it's imperfections; the dent and "X" and small scratch on trunk was not part of that imperfection list. I know you guys take pictures with your iPad before a service so please refer to your original photos as marks/dent was not present when dropped off. Note: My boyfriend details cars; so he's doing most of the dirty work to get that "X" scuff out. Mainly, because, I don't want prestige VW touching my paint when they can not do a simple wash/dry. Sadly enough, the "X" you guys caused did penetrate the clear coat. Also, most people do not take abrasive pads to their vehicles and especially not to a customers. Their is plenty of other ways to get bird feces, lizard droppings, tree sap ect. off with out using an abrasive pad. On the other hand I can not explain the dent you guys have caused. Also, I know I'm not the only one in Brevard County having an issue with your dealership as a whole. From a simple google search you can read all of the 1 star reviews on almost every platform their is; and 90% of complaints are about your service department.. On a positive note, Jeffery has been amazing to me and honestly the only one in your entire dealership to actually make me feel like a valued customer. Also I was told by Heather that I would get a free rental car when I took my car in for the repairs, less than 3 weeks later when I went in for the repairs, Kristi the manager said she would not give me a rental and that Heather should have never told me that. I have been a VW owner for 13 years and I have bought 3 cars from this dealership, but this will be my last one, and I will be trading it in to another dealership asap. I bought a certified preowned car and immediately had to take it back in because they painted over some prior scraping and the front bumper was missing a bolt and was falling off. I brought it back, then my car wouldn't accelerate properly. I wasted another day there and they couldn't fix the issue after plugging it into the machine and almost missed my flight to a wedding. The next week my check engine light was on. Then continued be on week after week off and on. Then the tire pressure light came on. Then an exhaust chrome cover fell off. No accident. I brought it back and it's been there for 5 days. $800+ repairs. I asked for a discount because I just bought this car. I have wasted days of my car being there, not getting paid, not being able to drive to my customer appointment. I've had to pay for Ubers because I live over 30 mins away. The icing on the cake which makes me never want to buy a VW is the service advisor or manager Patrick mocking me when I went to pay. It was Halloween and he goes "who am I for Halloween? Can I get a discount? Can I get a discount? Can I get a discount" he paraded from the service to the sales floor mocking me... While I do appreciate everyone working with me on a discount on the chrome part and the battery I had to buy from a car I JUST bought, it's never okay to mock your customers. It's insulting, immature, and just shows how little respect you have for any of your valued and loyal customers. To sell a lemon to a customer as a certified preowned and them mock them for asking for a discount after countless days being in the shop is just beyond me. read more

After they lowballed me on my trade in but extended me the bonus as I am a retired first responder I received a hearty handshake from my salesperson and was heading to the finance person to pay while they sent my new purchase for cleaning and gassing the tank while processing my trade in. Before I could make it to pay, my salesperson tried to shake me down for another $500 even after he made me sign for the agreed price. He said since I was retired I no longer qualified for the bonus despite what the proceeding invitation on the website stated. He later told me he had requested they take the bonus down from the website and rephrase it. I walked out the door from this dishonest situation. They reneged on the deal we made , engaged in false advertising and baited me to the dealership under false pretenses in my opinion. Untrustworthy , bad customer service and rudeness are the best words for this dealer. I notice other poor reviews about this dealer also. Terrible, terrible service technicians!!! Not sure they know how to comprehend a service order, respect the owner's vehicle and, most importantly, fix the problems. As a matter of fact, they don't always fix the initial problem. It's been our recent experiences over the last 6 months that they create more problems after the fix. Example- we brought our Atlas in this week to have the brake and transmission fluid replaced, battery checked for capacity, and replace the window switch plate that was broken by the service tech last week in the process of them fixing a window switch they broke prior to that appointment. Today, Sunday 7/14/24, 2 days after picking up our Atlas from the above stated repairs, we have a dead/discharged battery. We drove the car home from Prestige VW on Friday and hadn't driven it since. We are exasperated with the service department at Prestige, to say the least. I've given 1 example representative of the other problems we've encountered this year, some solved, others not (seat cooling fans and bad emergency detection sensors). We will NOT be back to Prestige and plan to take our business to another VW dealership with the hope we will receive better service. VW Corporation overall is not living up to its former great quality vehicle and service so these problems are likely occurring from the top down of the corporation and the top down of the individual dealership. What's the deal with no masks on employees???!!!!! Have been buying cars from this dealership for over 20 years. I've had very good service here. So there is no problem in that area. Had to run in there for something and was completely shocked that NO EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING MASKS. I was stunned. After purchasing a certified pre-owned car from this location, my fiancé has had to bring her car in 5 times over the last month for issues that the dealership did not disclose. During the last maintenance issue, the service manager mocked my fiancé to her face saying 'who am I for Halloween? "can I get a discount? when will my car be fixed? can I get a discount?'". All this after her car had been at the shop for 4 days after they had told her it would be fixed in a single day, AND we had paid for an extremely comprehensive warranty. Purchased an Atlas 11 months ago. It has been in the shop for 6 weeks now for a part that has been a known issue to VW for 2+ years across their entire line up and at the time of writing this has just been recalled as of 4 days ago. They have no time frame for when it will be repaired so I tried to see if I could trade my Atlas in for a new one (as long as the new one does not have the recalled part) and they flat out told me they refused to take my car in on trade as it was too risky to know when it would be repaired and they couldn't "absorb that cost". However, they are perfectly fine selling me a new car with a faulty part, that I still have to make payments on, that I can't drive, and have no answer as to when I will get the car back. After telling me they would not even take my car in for trade I was instructed to Lemon Law my car. Will never purchase from them again. I regret referring another family member to them to buy an Atlas as well. I hate knowing they made $80k off of my family in 2 weeks and pretty much gave us a "sorry about your luck". I have always taken my Passat to Prestige for all my vehicle maintenance. While they have never been fast, the place is clean and they have always done a good job. I am not sure if it is a staff change or a management thing, but I can no longer say that. I made an appointment, took the afternoon off work, and took my Passat in for its usual Oil Change, Tire Rotation, and cabin filter change in Feb/March 2021. I arrived a little bit after noon and settled in, knowing I would be there a while. By 5pm, I had not had any updates so I asked if the guy had any idea how much longer or if there were any problems (the power had gone out an hour or so earlier and things were a little hectic with the staff). He looked panicked and said I was almost done but his system wasn't up. I looked out the doors and saw my car sitting there so I figured all was well. 6pm rolls around and the other customers who arrived after me were antsy themselves and telling me they felt bad for me. I insisted things happen, it's OK. The desk guy calls me says they were done and I pay him my $250. My car hadn't been cleaned but I figured they had a rough day and didn't say anything. My husband had convinced me to let his mechanic change my brakes and thank God he did. I drove over to his mechanic who immediately asked if they had rotated my tires, I said yes but they look like they were in the same spots as before (I had different tires on the front and back). He showed me where there was metal sticking out on the front tires and they needed to be replaced right away. I was shocked Prestige wouldn't have said anything and it was so obvious on the inside tread there was no way they wouldn't have seen it if they were under the car. It was late so I took it for new tires the next morning. A few weeks later, a funny smell popped up in the car, my husband said he was going to check the filter. I reminded him it was new but, nope. Still the old gross one. Prestige had never changed it. I was pissed but it had been a month and they never responded to me about not rotating my tires so I knew nothing would come of it. A couple months later my Oil Light comes on - low oil. I freaked thinking I had a leak but I couldn't find evidence of a leak anywhere. We added oil and watched for a leak, never happened. I took it to someone else to see if they could find the problem. The problem was the oil hadn't been changed in so long it had just been used. What was left was very dirty. So Prestige not only kept me there for over 6 hours and charged me $250 but they did literally NOTHING to my car. They did not change my oil. They did not change my cabin filter. They did not rotate or even look at my tires. Since it has been 7 months, not much I can do except never bring my car back. Now I have a failure in my airbag and nothing on my steering wheel works. I have no idea who to take it to but it won't be a business that steals money and time just to send their customers back to the roads with dangerous tires and old oil. I was nice and understanding, if they had simply said they forgot to do my car, I would have been annoyed but understanding. This is beyond unacceptable. read more

Service manager Lewis Russo tried to deceive me actually three times. Firstly, he said that the spare key's price is $250+programming, which is not true. It costs $191+prgrmn'. Secondly, when he already was programming the key for more then 1.5 hours, he came back to me and said that i should pay additional ~$150 for battery replacement, otherwise he can't complete programming. I said that I'll be back for programming other day with my battery already replaced. Then he said that if i replace the battery myself or other place I should pay for programming twice: for his unsuccessful attempt today, and for second trial when I am back. I couldn't believe his words. I asked him: really, you guys charge people for services which were not actually provided? he answered: we normally do so. I asked second time: do you really want me to pay for what you didn't do? He was back in a minute and said that they used different source of energy to complete programming. BTW, it took only another 10 minutes. I can infer that then he realized he can't cheat further, the service was done faster and properly. I will never go there again. And I strongly recommend never go there if you expect honesty and decency from your dealership. read more

Absolutely the worst car experience. Bought brand new 2018 lemon of a car Tiguan, which I traded in for a brand new worse of a lemon car 2019 Atlas. Who would think I'd still have problems and even more than the first! Reached out to GM/owner Mr Dobbs who apparently didn't have time for me so sent me to the Service Manger, whom with no disrespect, can do absolutely nothing for me. Sat many times in the lobby waiting for my car being repaired while speaking to other unhappy customers (Jetta, Beetle, Tiguan owners). 2 electrical and 2 mechanical issues besides other minor issues I've dealt with. Since it's not the third time, they feel they do not have to rectify it. I will be the first to write a great review and seldom do I write a bad review but after the purchase of over $80,000 in cars from Prestige VW, I must say, I'm extremely irritated. Check out their "about us" on their page. How they strive to make their customers happy. Not true one bit. They should've bought back this car months ago (I've had it since February 2020!). Sway bars replaced. I had to google what those do. They keep your car or in my case, a good sized family SUV from tipping over. This is the shortest clip for one of my drives home. Recently went here to test drove an Atlas SEL, they advertised a $389/month and purchasing 0% for 72 months. I drove the car they specifically advertised online, VIN number matches the ad. Salesperson told me lease would be closer to $650/month and purchase would be $665/month. The dealer discounts on the car didn't fully apply to the purchase offer and the lease apparently is for a lower trim level, even though the exact car in the ad is what I drove. Salesperson wasn't really sure what to tell me, how ridiculous for the payment to be almost $300 more that what they advertised. I absolutely would not buy a car here and it looks like the advertising is to get you in the door. Very deceptive and dishonest for them to do this. read more

After 3 dreadful service visits, I've given up on this place. (1) The first was 10k mi maintenance and it took them more than 3 hours to do a simple oil change, tire rotation, etc. (2) The second was 20k mi maintenance, the owners manual listed a few more items that needed to be checked or serviced and I was pleasantly surprised that my car was out in about 2 hours. Unfortunately, they screwed up the tire rotation and I got a low tire pressure warning on my drive home. All of the tires had been filled to 32 PSI (normal for most vehicles). After checking the owners manual and capacities sticker in the driver's door jam (and a couple online sources for good measure), I verified that my Golf TDI should have 38 PSI in the tires. My only guess is that the mechanic was too lazy to read sticker and put the normal amount of air in. I checked their website to find some way of filing a complaint and submitted a comment via their Contact Us form. The form says it can to "pass on kudos or give constructive criticism", so I wrote a simple note explaining what happened and advising that they take extra precautions against under inflating tires in the future. Over the next week, I received a few emails saying that they'd be happy to help me make a future purchase. It seemed like they didn't read anything in my complaint and just sent me a series of automated messages. (3) Today is their third strike. Recently, I noticed the wiper fluid for my rear window keeps flowing after I release the lever and expect it to stop. I dropped the car off at for a scheduled checkup and went out for lunch to pass the time. I got back, waited a little longer, then got curious about not hearing any sort of an update after 3 hours. I asked my service consultant for a status update and was quite annoyed when he said that so far all they had done was verify that something seemed to be not working correctly. He said that they would be pulling it in and inspecting the wiper fluid system soon. 1 hour after that, they came back and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Supposedly they checked other Golfs/GTIs and saw the same behavior. I don't remember this happening until around 20k miles and am extremely suspicious of their assessment. I can't imagine that the VW engineers would purposefully design this to dribble and drip for 3-5s after the lever is released. It sometimes drips on its own, dries, and leaves steaks down the window/paint (without pressing the button). I will be doing my own research to fix that problem and not bothering with Prestige VW ever again. --- I will be going out of my way to try the other dealerships in Orlando for all of the future, free maintenance. Hopefully they don't disappoint too much before I'm out of the free maintenance cycle and start doing things myself. read more

It is still not fixed. The service reps are rude and have no personality. The last time I brought it up - they asked to drive it home- little did we know "Home" was an hour away...and the tolls were on our bill. AND the day after I got it back - my battery was dead. Love my car despite multiple recalls. Joe was great salesperson and the sale experience was good. But I warn you not to buy from here. It is inexcusable that it is so difficult to get a loaner. They told me they only have 5. Imagine spending $30-$50k for a car and yet even when u have a safety issue under warranty you have to wait a week or more for a loaner. Once they offered to shuttle me to a rental car agency where they will get you a rental. How inconvenient. And they haven't offered that every time. You can get a Mercedes for $50k. I bet they have a loaner car when u need it. Recommend you buy elsewhere. read more

I have been trying to get the air bags in my two VW's for over a year. I am told that no one has these parts. It is putting myself and my daughter in danger. When I speak to the Manager he acknowledges my worries but minimizes the risks. If they explode my daughter or I could be killed. I don't believe that the risks are minimal. I do believe that there is something more that VW can do, other than offering to give me more on a trade in. When they admit that many of the cars on their lots have the same dangerous problem. VW, and I mean all of their dealerships should be very concerned that this"minimal" problem will cause someones death! Instead of a cheap fix they will have a huge lawsuit worth millions of dollars.
