Oscar was very easy to work with as we described our needs and he came up with great designs that took very little adjustments to get exactly what we had envisioned. Oscar took us to several nurseries to select plants that would compliment the project. Victor took care of the demo and construction side of the project and was he amazing! The crew shows up on time and the site is thoroughly cleaned up each day. He also created documents to submit to our HOA for approval, and he was able to make changes quickly when needed. Victor and the crew were on time, efficient, and timely with the work. It was greatly appreciated that everything was washed down and cleaned by the crew at the end of each day. They were also able to make quick adjustments when our neighbor had some concerns with the hedges we wanted to plant. The scope of the work included adding a concrete pad, extending our concrete patio, planting privacy hedges with drainage and auto watering system, installing artificial grass with paver walkways, and adding pebbles along the exterior wall of our house. Since we have a soft watering system, we also had them install a separate line from the main. Overall, Caliscapes OC was professional, friendly, and accommodating. We even had one of the hedge plants not doing well. We reached out to Caliscapes OC to advise us on how to revive it, and they said they would replace it. He is friendly, honest, easy to talk to ,and knows his plants! We had a drip system installed and new plants put in four planter boxes in the front yard. Looks great. In the backyard, a drip system was installed and new rock was put in the planter box.There were 2 incidents with the backyard project that left me unhappy. The first one was the wrong rock was being put in. I told the crew to stop and I called Sal. He and Johnny were on it immediately. Sal had the crew remove the rock, he found a new place that had the rock i wanted and it was delivered and the crew put it in. That was a long hard day of work for them. The next day I noticed a small area did not get the new rock and my planter was damaged. I called Sal, sent him photos of the planter and rock. He said he would take care of it and he did! the next morning Johnny and crew were back bright and early with more rock and materials to fix the planter. Sal is a man of his word.He takes pride in his work and wants his customers happy. If you are not happy with something, Sal makes it right. I highly recommend MC Landscaping. He was great at explaining the work he was going to do which involved completely redoing the lawn irrigaiton and replacing our garden irrigation with drip irrigation. We also added controllers with timers and after talking with Zach upgraded to the ones with the app. A couple of weeks after the work was done, Zach stopped by to check on how the plants were doing and made adjustments to the watering schedule. He then got started the next morning. It took Gilberto and his team about five hours to give the front and back yards a complete overhaul.
