Months ago they closed an entire side of their self checkouts down, and I'm not sure how long it's been now but just realized today they shut down another 3 self checkouts on the other entrance side. Instead of they have about 5 or more workers just standing at the end of each checkout aisle (even non-self checkouts) holding a phone and I assume making sure no one is stealing. What a wasted position. This place is a circus. Our checkout lane was DIRTY. The screen was covered in sticky filth making checkout annoying. A worker cut in front of 3 of us ever so blatantly.

The female mostly stayed near the alley but it's still too close to the laundry doors. The male paced several times back and forth between the alley and the convenience store, right in front of the doors to the laundry room. Nobody wants their freshly cleaned clothes to smell like cigarettes. Plus, every time I've ever been in the shoe store (at least 7 times in the last 2 years) looking for shoes, nobody has been very helpful and they've been kind of snotty. Maybe they were judging me based on what I was wearing? I'm not sure. But the selection is limited and I don't appreciate the elitist attitude of the employees. Not everyone is going to be all dressed up just to go buy a couple pairs of shoes. This is Florida after all. And someone needs to tell them to stop excessively smoking in front of the laundry room area. It's disgusting and totally inconsiderate.

As I was researching cobblers not too far from Orlando, I decided to give them a try as I had some nicer Italian made shoes I needed repaired. They are located in a plaza with multiple businesses and are nearby a Progressive branch. The plaza is a long strip with parking along the building - if you go early enough, it should be easy to find a spot. Both times when I've gone, the owner is there and some of his team. Everyone has been friendly and incredibly knowledgeable when I've dealt with them both times. They take a good look at your repairs and they will be honest about what can be done or not. The first time I brought in a pair of heels where the branded insole was loose and a pair of boots with major scuffs/a bit of heel damage when I purchased them. They were able to reattach the insoles on the heels and they filled in/improved the look of the boots. (They made it clear that they could not do a completely invisible repair, but it was well done where you'd have to look up close to see the repair.) When I picked up the shoes, I dropped off more pairs for work to be done. Pricing is comparable to what I paid for my repairs in the OC in California. They will text or e-mail you once repairs have been made and completed. (The first time I dropped off my shoes, I called to check and they apologized and explained their texting system stopped working recently and they were working to correct the issue with it. This time, they did the text system and e-mail for me.)

From the onset of our conversations Jim was patient, and listened to my concerns. When I say patient, it took me 9 months to finally send a few pairs to him. He communicated throughout the entire process, and had all four pairs done within a week! The mirror soles are perfect on each pair, and he even shined them too! I hadn't realized how dull the booties had become until I unboxed them when they got home. When it comes to maintaining your Louboutin's, I fully recommend reaching out to Jim for any service they may need. And, I plan on rotating the rest of my collection through!
