We hadn't been before, but we were in mind to try something different for a date night. As the weather was expected to be in the 40s temp., we donned our plaid shirt jackets, gloves, caps, etc. we took a large heavy blanket and some old fashioned thermos bottles full of decaf coffee. Once there, we felt like we stepped into quite an experience. The movie was showing and there were nice rows and rows of camping chairs full of people intently watching. (We arrived a few minutes late). What was strange is that it was eerily quiet! We found a place to spread our blanket and then settled in to watch. We laughed out loud at all the many parts that were so funny, however no one else laughed! How could this be?!? It was so silent. If it wasn't so cold you would have heard crickets! We continued to laugh, trying not to break the spell everyone was under. During the movie, we grabbed two sandwiches and two waters from the food truck.. Almost $25! They were okay, but too high for the quality. Also, we were very excited about having a hot piece of pie and sipping coffee. This food truck only served cold, cream pies. While very good, not ideal for this outdoor weather. The tree farm had a large fire pit. If you needed to warm a bit. Overall, we had a great time sitting outdoors, laughing (albeit alone and surrounded by ghostly figures wrapped in blankets all slumped in chairs), and sipping coffee while watching a great Christmas classic. The event was extremely well organized. Thank you to the Wells family for making this possible. We would definitely recommend, and perhaps make this a new tradition! We'll bring friends next time! Also, there is an opportunity to cut your own tree or to choose from their pre-cut selections. They had live music the weekend we were there (Thanksgiving weekend) as well as Santa, food trucks, and an indoor space with restrooms and hot chocolate.

HOW does this company not have 5 Stars??!!! After reviewing their site and seeing such great…read moreholiday decorations I decided to place my first order. I'll fast-forward to say the entire experience was superb!! First I called their customer service line to inquire on their pre-lit wreaths. I was on hold for about 30 seconds. The rep answered my questions and made me feel more secure. I placed my order, immediately received an emaiconfirmation, and got a tracking number within 2-3 days. The packages arrived within a week. Upon initial inspection I quickly realized they've got quality products. This isn't your Lowe's or Home Depot stuff people! Unfortunately as I opened up the box of wreath decorations I noticed one of the ornaments broke during shipping. I quickly called, spoke to a rep who took my info and created a ticket. I was even able to submit a picture via email to show the damage. I was told I would hear back from someone shortly. Being a bit skeptical I thought I'd never hear back and would have to go back and forth but I'm very happy to report that was not the case. I got an email about 5 biz days later advising a new ornament was being shipped and a tracking number was provided. If you're looking for quality holiday home decorations look no further. Most of all their staff will put it into a stand, balance it with wood and make sure it looks beautiful, tie it up safely in or on your vehicle, and it makes it so easy to carry it in and just stand it up. The kids are all old enough to appreciate a real tree more now, and they all enjoyed the activities on the property--maze, fun props for pictures, giant hay mound...and best of all, its FREE to go! The only thing you pay for, is your tree. They had free beverages, snacks & treats. And, the tree we chose is beautiful. A 7' Fraser (so soft, you really can hug it!) cost before tax was around $130. Well worth it. My family had a great time! Most places that also offer food and activities charge to get in. We have four children, so even a low entry fee of $15 ends up being $90 just to enter!! So, to me, the cost of a much better quality tree than Costco or Home Depot offer, was completely worth it. They have a wonderful selection, the nicest and most helpful staff, and you and your family will have an experience beyond just choosing a tree.
