Got this gel manicure for $80 it was perfectly done without any gaps or unfilled spots.

Finally I'm able to find a cute nail salon which understands the needs of customers and gets it done perfectly. The salon is really cute with the combination of pink and white but is just a bit small. The price is a little bit pricey which is understandable because it's right in the heart of Chinatown and has very friendly techs so let's support small business and Asian-owned business. I was able to make an appointment on the same day and I was taken care of very well. Thanks to the nail tech and the person who helped me to pick the colors.

The nail salon was easy to find since they had a sign at the first floor. There was 2 nail techs when I arrived for my appointment. A lady asked if I had an appointment and I said yes. She didn't ask for my name to confirm the appointment. Next, she asked me to sit down but I requested to use the restroom so I can wash my hands. It's covid and I'm more comfortable knowing that my hands are clean before someone else touch them. Plus, my tech from other salons request costumers to wash hands before getting their nails done. Next, the tech asked if I had extension on which I didn't. She proceed to removing the gel. She cut my nails at a good length which I'm satisfied. My nails were shape were ok after filing. The simple design looked good. The tech asked if I wanted anything else which I requested for another coat of blue/gray paint since it was really sheer. I did notice that some part of the nails did not have color on them. Also, some nails felt rough on the edges. I'll say it's not worth the $95 excluding tip. FYI, make sure to have Venmo, cash or PayPal because their credit card reader wasn't working the day I went. Would be nice to know in advance! Also, a deposit was required when I made the appointment but the nail tech asked if I made a deposit which made me wonder how they keep a record of who made a deposit for appointment.

    Nails done by Faith

This has to be the cutest nail salon that I've visited. The pink interior and decor makes this place so unique. I had my nails done by Faith at Prettie Lash and Nail and I love how it turned out! She is very detail-oriented and with every step, she made sure I was happy with the designs. The people here are super kind!

I started getting my nails done here at the end of summer 2021 and I love getting the glitziest prettiest designs . Cindy always does my nails and is so fun to chat with and helpful in figuring out what we'll do for a design. It is expensive to get fancy schmancy nails that take hours of meticulous work and is well worth the price.

I had a great experience here! The nail salon is very small and cute. It is located on the second floor of the building. The nail techs were very friendly. My nails came out amazing as well! Exactly what I wanted. My nails were shaved down to almond shape and I got it white and purple gel on different fingers with marble and gold designs.

My perfect wedding nails, taken by the salon themselves!

This place is the SPOT! I came here to get my wedding nails done after finding their beautiful nail art on Instagram. I worked with Faith, and she was AMAZING. She was sooo focused and paid so much attention to detail and my nails came out perfect. She is so creative and was able to paint gorgeous artwork onto my nails to match my dress perfectly. On top of that, the energy in the salon is so welcoming and pleasant. All the mail techs are sweet and kind and so lovely to interact with. Faith is so incredibly patient she managed to make my nails and mail shape absolutely perfect (despite my being a bit fidgety!). It was worth every penny and second to have my nails done by Faith at Prettie Lash & Nail. Thank you to everyone that made this one wedding thing stress-free!

    I still can't believe these are press-ons!

I've gotten my nails done here a few times before in the past, but now I no longer live in the city and just haven't found the time to make the trip in to get my nails done. I still follow them on Instagram and am always in love with their designs and I was super happy with their work when I did used to go here. I recently ordered a set of press-on nails from here and looooove them! I like to switch up my nails pretty frequently, so the press-on option works great for me. I definitely plan on getting more press-ons from them and hopefully I can find time to get my nails done here again!

Ring finger and thumb's acrylic is so much bigger and not the right shape

I visited here to get my nails done and since my real nails weren't long enough for the look I wanted, I tried acrylic nails for the first time. I have no experience with them so I trusted the nail artist. I knew coming here I'd spend a lot more than what I normally did but it was closer than my usual nail salon and I wanted my nails to be perfect. I was kind of surprised that they didn't do any of the standard mani pedi stuff- no massages, no scrubbing for pedi, nothing but again, didn't mind. Upon getting acrylics, I didn't realize that "the extensions can be different sizes" if I lined up my nails, my left hand acrylics are so much bigger than my right. My right hand is perfect but my left has two fingers where you can visibly see the nails are fat and not the right shape. I asked the girls to file it some more but as they did two different times, at the last time I was just told "the extensions can be different sizes sometimes" which to me sounds like there's no way to fix this.. so I left the salon with my nails as it is. I showed my friends my nails and they said they didn't file it correctly and you can see for one of the nails, the gel is uneven and there's just too much gel on one which causes the acrylic to look bigger and thicker than what it should be. I paid $185 for acrylics + a simple design and pedi plus $45 tip. I don't mind the money considering I expected to pay more but if it's not going to be perfect.. I should have just went to my normal salon since I know my nail salon is consistent, just further.. I think this place is great if you used your nails and not acrylics but I wish the artist would have told me before hand that this could happen. It's only been 6 days and I'm considering redoing them already since I wanted these for an event.

The salon was nicely decorated, seemed very professional. But I won't be coming back again. I don't think these nails were worth $120. I was there for 2.5 hours for this very simple design and my nail tech was helping a new nail tech and kept pausing my service to help her. I understand about shadowing and learning but not on my time, especially for this amount of money. The gel was also refusing to set which makes me question their products--there are much better and cheaper options out there. She also asked me if I paid a deposit (which I did) and I found that strange. Do they keep track of these things?

    What I wanted

I wanted a different design because you assigned me someone else so I hope she could handle it. Obviously I didn't think it would help anyway since my cuticles were horrendous and I felt it needed to be redone. I was even scared for a redone cause it meant I need to spend even more money. So in the end I decided to cancel overall. You're right. I called 10pm at night cause I guess I couldn't wait till the next day cause of these nails. Anyways good luck on your salon.

The ladies here are all really sweet and nice! I was getting my nails done by Nancy, who gave me a lot of suggestions on my design. She was super sweet, but I think the style I prefer is different from this salon. I wanted my nails longer, and less cute-sy than what Nancy and I decided on (I agreed to all the suggestions she gave and went with them since I just wanted to try this new place out entirely). The extensions were shorter than my natural nails, and the polish is really translucent which I didn't notice until I got home. I thought I was happy with them after she asked me if I liked them before leaving but going home and looking at my nails, I'm not quite happy with the design. Looking back at my original reference photo it's just not what I wanted at all. This is my fault since I didn't voice my concern and I agreed to her suggestions, but keep in mind the salon seems to have a particular style when it comes to nails. I would suggest being very specific about what you are looking for if you already have an idea of what you want!

I got my nails done by Cindy and love how my set came out. They specialize in Japanese gel so the quality is really good and I don't have to worry about the gel chipping. Cindy kept checking if I liked the design, which was really nice. I'm very particular about my nails and asked a couple times to change the design/color for some nails and she was more than happy to fix it to my liking. I think the price was worth it, especially for how detail oriented Cindy is. I can't wait to come back for my next set! Also, Nancy and the owner are also really sweet! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced nail shop in the city.

Starting to chip and it hasn't even been 24hours

Not a great salon. I would personally spend a little more and go somewhere better. My nails became super brittle and thin after they removed my previous set. I got a simple French tip and it started to peel only a week after. I don't do laborious work or anything. I just work on a computer. My nails are usually very strong it's never been this brittle. Whatever they are using isnt the best for your nail health. All I did was shower and it started peeling. I told them about it and they told me to come back in for a new set that was similar which was nice of them. I only did one color this time to keep it simple but it was done so badly. They don't have that many colors cus my first and second color pick wasn't available so they chose a color for me. I just sort of gave up and brushed it off even tho it didn't look good in the end. It looks like I did it myself and it's already starting to chip after less than a day. This place might be cheaper than other places but it's still a waste of money. Won't be coming here again.

Her jelly masks are the selling point for me. The esthetician, Quyen, is one of the most pleasant people I've met in a long time. During COVID, she took all the right precautions to make you feel safe in the space. It's a small space inside of a building located on Kent Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Parking was a bit challenging but you can find something if you give yourself time. There is a bathroom located in a different area of the building. I enjoyed the vibe, very relaxed; the products were good; she uses Botnia skincare, which is all natural, another plus for me! I initially came for a signature, but ended up trying the dermaplaning service. Unfortunately, dermaplaning is not for me; my chin and cheeks broke out. I reached out to the esthetician whom told me that was the skin purging. Well, l "purged" and I hyper-pigmented, and developed ingrown hairs. My chin has not been the same. I do believe this reaction is what has contributed to me not returning. One thing I look into now is whether the esthetician has extensive experience treating melanated skin, that way there is a quick next step to treat.
