My sister and I got our nails done while we were visiting New York. Both of us got gel extensions with pretty complex designs and I was so happy with how well they did the designs. They also had SO many options to choose from when it came to the colors, charms, crystals, etc. The service was amazing. They were able to help me book everything via text and were so accommodating when I wanted to add someone to my appointment. They even offered to call an extra nail tech in because we were coming in on a Monday when they usually only have one tech. The only issue we had was my sister's nails started falling off only a day after we'd gotten them done. Because we were in town for work we didn't have time to go back and have them reglued. But by the end of our trip (four days after she'd gotten them done) every single nail had fallen off. I paid almost $200 + tip just for her set so we were all pretty disappointed that they fell off so quickly. But, my nails are totally fine and going strong. And my friend's nails (she got a regular gel mani) and unchipped and perfect. I'm not sure if the tech my sister had wasn't as experienced or if the gems on her nails weighed them down but because she was the only one with issues I can't hold it against Prettie too much. WOW!! First of all, their spot is so clean and so aesthetically pleasing. It's pink and just a thrill to be in if you like pretty things. Faith did my nails and she was absolutely fantastic. She was SO meticulous, very attentive and collaborative throughout the nail art process. I showed her an inspo pic and she was such a pro. My nails were really damaged when I went, so I do have those bandaid wrap things that harden on one nail (instead of extensions), but you can't even tell. We went back and forth on extensions but ultimately she decided she didn't want to damage my nails further and always thought about my nails' best interest. This whole set was $90 (including design) before tip. Japanese and Korean gel salons are often pricier because of the quality of the gel -- They only use Japanese and Korean gel, which are better for your nails, and also builder gel if you need to grow your nails while having a fab design. I really recommend this spot. I wouldn't spend $90 every time, definitely a treat yourself situation. Regular starts at $65. The nail salon was easy to find since they had a sign at the first floor. There was 2 nail techs when I arrived for my appointment. A lady asked if I had an appointment and I said yes. She didn't ask for my name to confirm the appointment. Next, she asked me to sit down but I requested to use the restroom so I can wash my hands. It's covid and I'm more comfortable knowing that my hands are clean before someone else touch them. Plus, my tech from other salons request costumers to wash hands before getting their nails done. Next, the tech asked if I had extension on which I didn't. She proceed to removing the gel. She cut my nails at a good length which I'm satisfied. My nails were shape were ok after filing. The simple design looked good. The tech asked if I wanted anything else which I requested for another coat of blue/gray paint since it was really sheer. I did notice that some part of the nails did not have color on them. Also, some nails felt rough on the edges. I'll say it's not worth the $95 excluding tip. FYI, make sure to have Venmo, cash or PayPal because their credit card reader wasn't working the day I went. Would be nice to know in advance! I visited here to get my nails done and since my real nails weren't long enough for the look I wanted, I tried acrylic nails for the first time. I have no experience with them so I trusted the nail artist. I knew coming here I'd spend a lot more than what I normally did but it was closer than my usual nail salon and I wanted my nails to be perfect. I was kind of surprised that they didn't do any of the standard mani pedi stuff- no massages, no scrubbing for pedi, nothing but again, didn't mind. Upon getting acrylics, I didn't realize that "the extensions can be different sizes" if I lined up my nails, my left hand acrylics are so much bigger than my right. My right hand is perfect but my left has two fingers where you can visibly see the nails are fat and not the right shape. I asked the girls to file it some more but as they did two different times, at the last time I was just told "the extensions can be different sizes sometimes" which to me sounds like there's no way to fix this.. so I left the salon with my nails as it is. I showed my friends my nails and they said they didn't file it correctly and you can see for one of the nails, the gel is uneven and there's just too much gel on one which causes the acrylic to look bigger and thicker than what it should be. I paid $185 for acrylics + a simple design and pedi plus $45 tip. I don't mind the money considering I expected to pay more but if it's not going to be perfect.. I should have just went to my normal salon since I know my nail salon is consistent, just further.. I think this place is great if you used your nails and not acrylics but I wish the artist would have told me before hand that this could happen. It's only been 6 days and I'm considering redoing them already since I wanted these for an event. read more

I was there for 2.5 hours for this very simple design and my nail tech was helping a new nail tech and kept pausing my service to help her. I understand about shadowing and learning but not on my time, especially for this amount of money. The gel was also refusing to set which makes me question their products--there are much better and cheaper options out there. The ladies here are all really sweet and nice! I was getting my nails done by Nancy, who gave me a lot of suggestions on my design. She was super sweet, but I think the style I prefer is different from this salon. I wanted my nails longer, and less cute-sy than what Nancy and I decided on (I agreed to all the suggestions she gave and went with them since I just wanted to try this new place out entirely). The extensions were shorter than my natural nails, and the polish is really translucent which I didn't notice until I got home. I thought I was happy with them after she asked me if I liked them before leaving but going home and looking at my nails, I'm not quite happy with the design. Looking back at my original reference photo it's just not what I wanted at all. This is my fault since I didn't voice my concern and I agreed to her suggestions, but keep in mind the salon seems to have a particular style when it comes to nails. I had my lash lifted and tinted by Jen. The process was done so gently, I fell asleep twice. It took about 1 hr. My lashes are normally stubborn that lash curlers and mascara do not last long but my Asian lashes are now beautifully curled. Maintenance is minimal. After-care instructions were provided. I got my nails done by Cindy and love how my set came out. They specialize in Japanese gel so the quality is really good and I don't have to worry about the gel chipping. Cindy kept checking if I liked the design, which was really nice. I'm very particular about my nails and asked a couple times to change the design/color for some nails and she was more than happy to fix it to my liking. Not a great salon. I would personally spend a little more and go somewhere better. My nails became super brittle and thin after they removed my previous set. I got a simple French tip and it started to peel only a week after. I don't do laborious work or anything. I just work on a computer. My nails are usually very strong it's never been this brittle. Whatever they are using isnt the best for your nail health. All I did was shower and it started peeling. I told them about it and they told me to come back in for a new set that was similar which was nice of them. I only did one color this time to keep it simple but it was done so badly. They don't have that many colors cus my first and second color pick wasn't available so they chose a color for me. I just sort of gave up and brushed it off even tho it didn't look good in the end. It looks like I did it myself and it's already starting to chip after less than a day. This place might be cheaper than other places but it's still a waste of money. Please do not ever book Nancy. She has an attitude and is not professional at all to her customers. Tbh when she did my gel mani, I thought she was okay except for the fact that she rolled her eyes when she messed up the color of one of my nails when I showed her a photo and I asked her to redo it. Other than that, I thought it was okay, i generally liked the design I chose even though my nails were not like 100% perfect with the filing leaving sharp marks and the small little bumps/details, it was like 85%, so I was somewhat satisfied. Then, I had Cindy who did my gel pedi and wow the service was a 180 degrees change! I loved her! She was super attentive and treated her customers with care and respect which I really appreciated. She helped me swatch my colors until I liked it. She even helped me file my nails that were messed up by Nancy who hurried away the second she finished. I left the place generally satisfied. This was not the end though. I then recommended my friend to come here for gel mani and pedi for her destination wedding and to my surprise, she got Nancy for her mani too and she f***ed up her nails so so bad that it was crooked with bumps/bubbles everywhere. When asked to fix it, she just piled more and more gel on top and claimed that it looked fine to her. Guess what she was doing while she was doing her nails? She had 2 friends over at the salon who were not customers chitchatting with her as she was f***ing up my friends nails knowing very well this was going to be for her wedding. I cannot believe the owner of this salon allows such behavior there. Nancy must think she is untouchable because she can do the complicated designs but anyone would prefer good customer service over that behavior. Anyways, in the end she just left my friend's nails as it is and left her shift. Then, comes the savior of the day, Cindy! My friend asked if there is any saving it and she said nope, it was so messed up it cannot be saved and the owner happened to come by and agreed. Cindy then removed all of the gel nails completely and redid it from scratch all over again but this time to perfection. I would come here again and only request Cindy. This bad review is not for the salon, it is directed at Nancy mainly because she gave my friend a bad experience when it was for her wedding. read more

Went here after seeing this place on tiktok. My sister and I came in and i would say our nails turned out fine. There was only one nail tech at the time so we got our nails done one at a time (but seeing as we called in the day of i didn't really mind). The designs came out cute, but I would say overall the nails were just alright. I got coffin shaped nails and think that the shaping was not the best job. My thumb nail was also really crooked. I got slightly longer nails and my sister got shorter nails and the bill came up to $300. That is an insane amount for the nails that we got and that's the main reason for the low rating.
