She asked me if I wanted a matcha drink. I told her that I was still in the embracing stage of matcha. But she talked up the "premium" or "ceremony" grade matcha. I can't remember exactly which. I also ordered a savory scone which I can't recall ever having anywhere. On top of the service, both my food and drink were excellent life choices. This was what matcha was all about (my first experience was essentially equivalent to drinking a cup of dirt). And if you haven't tried their Everything Bagel Scone, love yourself and try it. I hope that the scone is something that I can come and expect to be there. I would be very ok with coming back and repeating my order.
