I always come here for my lashes. But today was not a good experience. I usually don't complain but I had booked an appointment with Lan (my usual girl) at 1pm today, I specifically mentioned when I talked to them that I needed to be done by 2:15 due to not having a babysitter any later than 2:30. (Takes me 15 minutes to get home). They said that would work and I'd be done by then. When I arrived today I waited and they finally brought me back at 1:20, but it wasn't the girl I had booked with! They then asked what I wanted, I showed them a photo but said three times that I needed to leave by 2:15 so whatever they could get done in that amount of time would work. She said she could do it and then we didn't finish til 2:45!! I hurry and paid and ran to my car! Not to mention I am not very happy with how my lashes turned out either. They are way fuller than I anticipated or asked for. Anyway, I've been going to this place for awhile and have loved my services with Lan as she is the only person I ever go to. But today was not a good experience at all. I am pretty disappointed in how it went and don't know if I'll return. read more

Pretty Lash is fast, convenient, and curious. I have place that I went to next to my house but the quality of the lashes and the atmosphere isn't what Pretty Lash is. The fellow that takes care of the appointments and greets customers is very pleasant. He has a soothing voice and kind demeanor. The ladies that work their are quiet and diligent in their work most of the time. One thing I can't stand is idle chatter or rude people, ya know? After having my lashes done at Pretty Lash something fun happened. People would stare at my eyes and wonder if my lashes were fake or real.? They couldn't tell the difference. I needed something fast because I booked a family photo last second, and since I have sensitive eyes, I can't really wear eye makeup but I can handle lashes for short periods. I normally go to The Lash Bar, but due to my husband being out of town half of next week and wont be back until the day of, I needed to get in before he left and they didn't have any slots (my kids are too little to be left alone). I had seen the Pretty Lash (Draper) location a few times as I went in and out of the UPS store next door, so I decided to give them a try on the off chance they could get me in. They were able to get me in the same day I called. Awesome! The waiver at the beginning had me a little worried. In any case, I signed it, and they took me back to the station. Things looked a little run down and in my opinion could have been a tad cleaner. The lady I had let me pick out the style and lashes I wanted. They keep the lashes stuck to tiles--like Home Depot subway tiles--which I found odd. I selected the fill level I wanted and she got to work. They had music going but it wasn't anything fun or upbeat--it was the most "sleepytime" music ever and the kind that really, really bugs me (that's a preference though). I have a hard time with the adhesive and it makes my eyes water a lot. She did apologize a lot and kept asking if I was okay, and kept fanning my eyes with a little fan, which helped a little but still wasn't fun. It would also get really cold sometimes. She was really nice and got me a blanket, which helped a lot. Now that my lashes are done, everything is fine and my eyes have stopped watering. The price was definitely cheaper than The Lash Bar, which as of 8/17/24 will run you $260 if you can get in when you need it. Pretty Lash cost $110, plus tip for the full volume lashes. Overall they look really good, and are much fuller than my natural lashes. She did a good job curling them too. It looks I did my eye makeup, which is exactly what I was going for. Now they just need to stay on until the family photo on Thursday (fingers crossed). Overall I'm happy with how my lashes turned out, and the experience was just "okay." UPDATE: these lashes are holding and unlike another reviewer I didn't get any weird eye infections. They look nice and I've gotten quite a few compliments. If you are just looking to get lashes and don't need all the frills and fuss of someplace like The Lash Bar, Pretty Lash is a decent bet. read more

I've gotten lash lift and tints from pretty lash 2x. The first time, about a year ago they over processed my eyelashes but they still looked good so i didn't mind much. This time they over processed me by at least 15 minutes, and the entire hour and a half of my appointment my eyes were ON FIRE. The worst burning sensation i've ever felt in my life like crying and squirming. I said something within the first 5 minutes and was told nothing is touching me and to relax, then was left alone for an hour, then ignored the second time i tried to ask why it burned so bad, until the third time I had to tell her to take the stuff off. The skin underneath my eyes was raw for 20 minutes and my eye is swollen. My eyelashes are curled nicely but they're so thin. Would rather cut off my eyelashes than come back here. read more

so first off i had my lashes for not even a week and the continuously fell out, i told kayla about it and she told me to pay half as much for a fill for a touch up i told her no i will wait. I scheduled an appointment a week prior to my appointment and then she called me and i missed it and called back 3 times and no answer, i got a text to confirm i confirmed the next day i got off work early for my appointment and she had canceled it? there system is broken and they don't care to fix it. I am SO happy with how my lashes turned out! Everyone was so nice and made sure i was comfortable. It was my first getting lash extensions and i don't think i'm ever going back. Lash glue not good at all they said it was me I had only got my lashes day before and over 20 fell out had me come in 2 days later to fix and said it was my fault because I have oily skin. Which I have gotten my eyelashes done before and never had so many fall out. And it's a week later it looks like I never have gotten lash extensions. Terrible read more

I've been getting lashes done for 3 years. I decided to give this place a try but ended up with a bad eye infection from them. There was no kind of hand washing/sanitizing, cleaning of equipment, or cleaning of the bed you lay on for the treatment. The girl who did my lashes moved on quickly from the previous customer to me and didn't clean her equipment or wash her hands at all. Very disappointed that a business would not bother to clean and sanitize before moving into the next patient. Would not recommend this place to anyone who has any sense of hygiene and does not want an eye infection. Looking back I should have questioned her and asked her to at least wash her hands. read more

Just came in for my first time. I haven't had my lashes done for a year and I am SO HAPPY with how they turned out. Everyone was so nice and friendly and made me feel so welcome. The studio is extremely clean and has a very relaxing vibe. Andy, who I believe is the owner and was working the front desk, was super nice! Kim, my lash technician was great! Super sweet and did a fantastic job! I can't say enough good things about this place! Their prices are the best I've found in SLC valley. And they're running a new customer discount where you can receive $20 off a full set. I highly recommend this place!
