Disappointing experience! - my 60min Swedish message was more of a 35min rough rub down. - my massage was performed by the chiropractor, not a certified masseuse! Was uncomfortable and sore for two days fallowing. -The atmosphere was not relaxing! Loud music and uncomfortable table. The sheets didn't look very clean either. -the man talked the whole time trying to sell me sessions. Very disappointing experience! Found a groupon for a message. It was the first message I've had outside of a message parlor or spa and I don't think I'll ever receive one at a chiropractic office again. It was an odd experience. He talked a lot which was obnoxious when I'm trying to enjoy and relax. Some spots rubbed were too close for comfort... this wasn't my first message and there were several times I was out of my comfort zone. I felt as though the sheet wasn't tucked properly and I had a few nip slips ... and if I were a man my balls would have def. been touched. Idc if the masseuse is a dr. I've had my fair share of chiropractors over the years due to my job and I've been to some that were a total rip off and scam- so i was very hesitant to take the leap and try this place. I originally purchased the massage Groupon and was blown away. I've had many massages and was initially disappointed when I met the massage therapist, Lucille, thinking that a small woman couldn't possibly work out my knots. WOW was I wrong. This woman has magical hands I swear! I was so blown away by this massage that when they offered me a free consultation the next day- I immediately said yes. Dr Singh and Dr Basra are wonderful at what they do. Although I am still part of the 8 week program right now so don't feel 100% quite yet, I am feeling improvements and walk out of there feeling a lot better then when I walked in. When they ask how I am feeling when I first walk in, I'm always honest if i am feeling extra sore, and my treatment that day always caters to my needs. My insurance didn't cover the treatment plan, but there out of pocket price is unbelievably affordable, especially in the realm of chiropractors. They even offer a one year payment plan which is nice. I also love that they close at 7pm so it's easy for people like me who work the typical 9-5 to get the care when we need it the most- right after a long day at work. read more

Two years ago I crashed while riding my motorcycle. I had a broken left wrist, a broken right foot with ankle ligament damage, and really bad road rash. Some of the spots were deep, almost to the bone. I had a terrible pain in my side as if I broke ribs. and each day it got worse. Dr. Singh figured out in short order my ribs went out of place. One adjustment and massage and I felt much better, two days later the pain was completely gone. I was already hurting from the crash and that made it so much worse. Now couple of weeks ago I was lifting a bag to put in the huge garbage bin when I heard and felt a disc pop. My back immediately seized. By the next day I could barely walk 6 inches. I walked out almost normal after my appointment. One we later later, that pain was completely gone and I cannot believe it was that simple again! Now I clearly displaced a rib bone. I heard it pop. I have full confidence they can fix this too. (I have seen both Chiropractors at the business and trust both. I have had several spinal surgeries and have a permanent issue so I do not trust people messing with my back. ) read more

Dr. Basra is very knowledgeable and a great masseuse. He was attentive to my questions and answered them kindly, giving me tips on exercise movements to relax my joints. I wish they could've turned on more relaxing music, but didn't care much. I'm sure they would've switched to something more soothing if requested. My experience with Preventative Healthcare was awesome. I came having huge issues with my back, and even though it's impossible to fix all problems with just one visit I already feel much better and ready to go back to work. I work long hours, and I have a sitting job so my back is suffering big time. My neck muscles were screaming for help, my right side needed adjustment and I was looking for a good chiropractor who could help me to bring everything back to normal. I couldn't wait to return to Preventive Healthcare S.C. for the best massage I have ever had! Again, I was welcomed by name and called in to massage room quickly. Lucia did an incredible job and I am sorry I waited so long to return. A while back, I scheduled an adjustment for lower back pain. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a wonderful and courteous staff. The office was impeccably clean and neat. Dr. Singh asked many questions to get to know me, the nature of the incident that brought me here, gave me a comprehensive exam, answered all of my questions graciously and performed the adjustment afterward, The whole staff is very caring and always treated me with respect. So, here it is: The doctors are excellent and both massage therapists, , have me coming back for massages even when I do not need treatments. I consider that a part of "maintenance". I have 2 herniated discs, L4 & L5, 1 being severe along with bulging discs causing sciatica. The pain was debilitating and I had lost my ability to walk rendering me to a cane. I saw a spinal surgeon who was highly recommended by a friend. The surgeon told me to wait 6 weeks before considering the fusion procedure, which is covered by my insurance. My wife persisted I see Dr. Singh and Dr. Basra, luckily I did. At first, I never believed in chiropractic "medicine", like mumbo jumbo. But! Dr. Singh and Dr. Basra are wizards Harry. They helped me avoid fusion surgery and was able to put Humpty Dumpty back together again... several times, SMH. Going to the appointments alone will not help your situation, you have to do the work they give you at home or else it was all for nothing which I hard-headedly learned. I also went on Keto and lost 40lbs in 3 months to help my cause in conjunction with chiropractic therapy. I too, like another reviewer felt this massage was a little too close for comfort. I have never been to a chiropractors office for a massage but found a groupon and decided to give it a try. The gentleman massaged about half way down my buttocks, which I thought maybe was the norm at a chiropractor office. But when he went very close to my crotch I felt very uncomfortable. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt like I just wanted to leave asap. The only thing this massage did for me, was make up my mind that I will never get massaged by a male again. Incredible. Knowledgeable. Unbeatable. I'm a professional athlete (circus/aerial) traveling through town for workshops. I'm based in LA and was very skeptical of anything to do with the Midwest but as we all do, I slept poorly and it messed up my back. I needed help. Dr S gave me the best adjustment I've had in years. He was able to show me areas That my alignment was off, gave me stretches I've never used before to help my future back pains, and then continued into the most kick A$$ adjustment. Very few people are able to adjust my upper back because my muscles are too strong for a proper release- but he did it like it was nothing. He also had a traction table, EStim, and a masseuse to help the areas that were severely affected- something I appreciated very much. This office also focused on preventative care: diets,exercise, knowledge. As someone who takes preventative care seriously, I was extremely impressed by the focus on trying to fix the cause not just the problem. Brilliant. I've purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute massage and planned for a relaxing day. Instead, my experience at Preventative Healthcare before the actual massage took place was very stressful. I was asked to provide an email address, home address, and a phone number. No problems, but they did not stop there. Next, I was asked to hand over my driver's license as office personnel made copies of front and back. Next, they took my picture with a digital camera. After making copy of my driver's license and taking my photo, I was given a tablet with a multi-page digital questioner. Once again, I was asked to provide my name, address, phone number, email, and social security along with number of other personal questions. This is where I drew the line. I've refused to complete their questioner. I have expected a relaxing time and the 60 minute massage was not able to undo the damage. read more
