This funeral service went above and beyond to make my family comfortable after the death of my step father. They came after we called in about 90 minutes to remove him from our home. They even cleaned up after and put our furniture back in place after the firemen had misplaced it slightly. When my grandmother passed away at home unexpectedly, she had no arrangements made. We originally called a crematorium to pick her up from the house, only to later realize five days later that we were going to do a traditional casket burial and needed to chose a different facility to fit our needs. We chose Price because the crematorium we originally went to, pushed corporate owned funeral chapels on us that were coincidently their sister companies after we realized our mistake. We said no thank you to that and found Price while driving home and made an appointment the very next day. At no point during that meeting did Price try to sway our opinions or choices to fit their interests like the crematory did, so it was an immediate relief when they took grandma into their care. Jeremy was kind and dedicated a whole two hours out of his busy day to meet with us and make arrangements exactly how grandma would have wanted. He walked us through every step and explained everything to us in full detail on what to expect, and he even wrote down a list for us with what we needed to do on our end to prepare for the funeral. He connected us with a pastor and told us about the local cemeteries nearby and their differences and contacted the one we chose for us to initiate the arrangements. Price went above and beyond for us and it showed on the day of the service. They posted an obituary that the family wrote and dedicated to my grandmother which the cemetery then posted online when searching for her plot. A nice touch that wasn't realized until later on. Everything during the service was beautiful and it went off without a hitch which is all we could ask for. I had my dad's funeral there 17 years ago which the funeral viewing was in February 20th, 2008. The red head that worked there was a total bitch and showed no empathy when she told me to go into a room. I asked if I could see my dad and the bitch said uh uh and tried to physically block me even though I was a lot bigger than her. The red head put a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to Price funeral chapel. I bottled it up for all these years but I think the price family needs to know about the red head. I almost told her fuck you and was waiting for her to touch me but luckily she kept her hands to herself. I went into the side room as she ordered me to go to. I had just lost my father and the red head showed no empathy towards me and was snappy and and showed no remorse. My Mother in Law, died surrounded by family on 12-31-17. I had called Price Funeral Chapel in February 2017 and spoke to Jody. It was comforting to know that the Owner, still answers the phone. That impressed me enough that when she did die, I called them for help. As promised they came to the Hospital at the appointed time and now her son Kyle and his Wife Ally I believe, came to make the removal, at 4 am. When we went to the Chapel for the arrangement conference, David greeted us at the door, and Mitch, helped us complete the arrangements. All facets of what we wanted were explained in detail and no question went unanswered. During our interactions, we met Dan, and another Son, Jeremy. A true family business. Everyone was extremely kind, courteous, genuine, really good people. Even Eddie at the Crematory was very personable. An assistant, Chuck or Chris, I don't remember exactly, was very professional. It was the Christmas holiday and they weren't real engaging or no one was answering their phones. My dad said, "Call that funeral home my sister in law used for her parents".
