Please DO NOT rent a vehicle from this Company. I cannot stress the importance of reading the reviews, which I unfortunately did not do before renting the vehicle. They DO NOT accept Amex, so if you have any insurance via AMEX, it will not be any good. They further make you buy more insurance claiming that your state insurance is no good. Unfortunately a bunch of scammers So many negative reviews obviously means something is wrong with this company. The insurance that they sell you has a $2500 deductible. So god forbid if you are in a mishap, $2500 is out of your pocket before insurance pays anything. I unfortunately had to pay an additional $500 to rent the car. Priceless is one of the independent car rentals on Century Blvd 1-2 miles east of LAX. I was wary of some bad reviews, but gave them a try because their rate was 30% lower than any other. I had time and just a roller bag so I walked from the airport but most would catch their shuttle from the bus drop-off point. The office doesn't look like much but the agent was courteous and straightforward. I asked the model year of the rental and he said 2023. He required proof of insurance because I declined to buy coverage. The car was waiting outside the back door. It was basic but spotless and nearly new. I followed instructions to take pictures and email them before driving away. Upon return, I was directed to the adjacent parking structure where I was welcomed by Abdullah who inspected the car and thanked me for being a customer. Downstairs the shuttle with friendly driver was waiting. He promptly took me and several others directly to our departure terminals at LAX. Overall this was a great experience, but I took off a star because they did not fully refund my $200 deposit which took a couple phone calls to correct. Still, every employee was courteous and helpful, and the company has made service a priority. Priceless earned my business and I will not hesitate to rent from them again. read more

I booked a midsize car for a week through a 3rd party on 19 Nov. 2024 at a very low price and a representative of Priceless called me to convince me that I had to pick-up the car at Newark airport while it was planned to be at my zip code in jersey city. She also lied about my driving license being expired and told me in a rude manner that I wanted to "take advantage" of this rate. She finally unilaterally decided to cancel my booking. I intend to sue the company for violating New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act (CFA), by "failing to honor rental rates agreed upon through online reservations." since the transaction was already electronically acknowledged. read more

I need a rental while I was in the process of buying a new car and Priceless made my mine up for me. I purchased the same i rented for the week. A 2022 Hyundai Elantra and I love it! It drives and handles amazing and even has a sport mode! No more Uber fees to the airport for rentals for me. The location nearest to me is two blocks away. This was by far the worst rental car experience I've ever had. The people working in the gas station are also working for Priceless, so there were people backed up in line for both services. The person dropping off the car was 35 minutes late and it took another 20 minutes for them to complete the rental transaction. The person renting me the car was quite rude and kept on saying 5-10 more minutes. If you read the other reviews, there has been a consistent delay in the company renting to customers and that is unacceptable. This experience makes me never want to rent from carrentals.com again. Do whatever you can to rent from another company. Any other company is better. You'll save a lot of time and energy by doing so. They charge you $500 as a security deposit - it's not a hood. They CHARGE your card and hold it for 2 weeks after which they want 8 days to process a refund. They then also keep charging your card for tolls. It takes a hour+ to get a car. When you express frustration 10 days later, the customer service rep will just start to scream at you even if you keep a civil tone explaining frustration. I've never had such a miserable experience. It has cost me $650 that they keep for nearly a month for 25 hours in a car. read more

I'm glad they had a rental car at all given that rentals post COVID-19 are hard to come by, but my car was dirty, and had a major brake issue. FRAUDULENT BUSINESS. The owner, Jimmy, is a fraud and scam artist. He rented me a filthy, damaged car. We received the vehicle with huge stains in the back seat, a interior that smelled of cigarettes and a dinged, rusty exterior. Within an hour of driving it, the back bumper flew off and nearly hit the car behind me on the highway. I immediately called the company to let them know about the issue and Jimmy called me a liar and said it's hard to believe since the bumper was on when I received the car?? Despite having a video of the bumper flapping in the wind just minutes before completely falling off, Jimmy somehow continued to blame me. After arguing with Jimmy over the phone, I received a notification from my credit card company that he charged me $1,684. This charge was unauthorized and he claimed it was for the damage to the vehicle even though he hadn't seen the vehicle yet, as it was still in my possession, so I am not sure how he came up with that arbitrary number. Not to mention that I had purchased collision damage insurance yet Jimmy denied I had even though I had the receipt and policy number ON MY RESERVATION. DO NOT rent from here. I have read other reviews that all say the same thing. In addition, reviews warn that he continues to charge random amounts to your card weeks after you return the vehicle so I have notified my credit card companies to dispute any and all charges from Priceless car rentals. The entirety of this establishment from the exxon gas station, to the uhaul are terrible. If you are a person who is black please take your money elsewhere they treat black people terribly compared to those whom are not. Trust me I witnessed it. I wouldn't ever bring my money here again. I came to this location to drop off a uhaul at 6:40 pm my deadline was 7pm. The workers behaved as if they didn't even want to be bothered with me. When I informed them I was dropping off a rental for uhaul they gave me such a hard time. They went back and forth with me for the entirety of the 20 minutes which meant when they finally put it in the system that I was dropping it off... I was charged an additional fee for no reason. They were absolutely unprofessional. The workers are rude and inconsiderate. They were extremely rude to me for no reason! Nothing but negative energy. (I understand everyone doesn't like their job or may be dealing with personal issues, but that isn't how you're supposed to treat your customers, nor is it a justification.) & All I was doing was trying to drop off my rental. They instructed me to call uhaul customer service to resolve the situation (The additional charge) because 1.They clearly didn't want to be bothered 2. They couldn't tell me what the additional charges were for at that moment & by that time, with all the back & forth it was too late. This was such an unnecessary discrepancy. I was instructed to park where they told me too by the workers. I was in the street & they told me to park in the gas station. So I did. While I am trying to get in contact with a customer service representative the Hispanic worker threatened to call the police. He didn't even try to reason with me. It was clear he didn't speak very much English because all he did was yell & get mad & tell me to move my car. The New Jersey port authority came & told us to move off the premises. I wasn't going to mention the fact that I am black & they weren't. But they definitely treated us differently. I watched them treat other customers with way more decency. This is quite disappointing because I was extremely respectful. But it was clear as day why they treated me in that manner. Take your money somewhere else. I expressed my concerns to a wonderful employee, Rosalie, who assured me of their thorough and frequent cleaning and safety checks. This place is a complete joke. I booked a car and when I arrived, I had to wait two hours for the car to arrive. There is no stock on site as it's run out of the Exxon station. Cars have to be returned, and then go out to the next renter. The car I eventually got was filthy and reeked of smoke.
