    The Agent that assisted me, Valeria Noto, was super professional. She picked me up from the body…read moreshop and made pleasant conversation on the way back to the Enterprise office. Once there she explained the process to me and started the paperwork. She even helped me pick out a rental and then proceeded to make sure it was clean. We were pretty shaken up by the accident and the amount of damage on the car. Going to enterprise really helped us get through a difficult time. Not only did we have the rental during the time the insurance would allow, which was one month, but we had to continue renting it for an additional three weeks. Ordinarily this would have made our lives more complicated but Enterprise assisted us in every possible way. It wasn't just getting us a great car but helping us deal with our insurance and making sure everything was in order. The staff there is a group of young people who are extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. They talked us through all our frantic phone calls and were more than willing to do anything to assuage our fears of the process. The car that we got as a rental was more than adequate and was in great condition and meticulous when we got it. We would like to thank Michael, Chad, Shaquan , Bri and anybody else that we dealt with for taking such great care of us. I would highly recommend anyone to this Enterprise and would certainly use it again if I ever needed another rental.

    I am submitting this report to formally document the ongoing unprofessional conduct, negligence,…read moreand lack of accountability I have experienced at the Avis rental car location in Bayonne, NJ. I am a preferred member (ID: D4678T), and I have rented vehicles from this location consistently through the Uber rental program. Despite numerous complaints to Avis corporate and repeated attempts to escalate the matter, I have not received adequate resolution. Unprofessional Conduct by Management (Sheila): On one occasion, I was contacted by Sheila (purportedly the General Manager) regarding a delayed vehicle return. I informed her I was severely ill, but she showed no empathy and instead raised her voice and threatened repossession. When I arrived at the location to resolve the matter, the quoted balance was inconsistent with what I was charged. I questioned the discrepancy and was told that Sheila's system is different from the in-store system, which I find implausible given her managerial role. Disrespectful Behavior by Staff (Ella): Ella, who frequently works at the counter, has repeatedly treated me in an unprofessional, dismissive, and combative manner. She processed my credit card payments while wearing an earpiece and speaking on the phone--highly unprofessional. That specific credit card, used solely for rentals, later showed multiple fraudulent Amazon charges. She has refused to escalate complaints or allow me to speak to any supervisor other than Sheila, often dismissing my concerns or ending calls abruptly. She told me that another supervisor, Sarah, "will never be in-store" and there is "no need" to escalate any concerns beyond her. Vehicle Issues and Safety Concerns: I was issued a vehicle with an expired registration, which resulted in me being locked out of the Uber platform and unable to work. When I reported this, Ella claimed it was my responsibility to monitor registration--despite the fact I do not own the vehicle. A replacement Chevy Bolt later developed serious mechanical issues, including non-functioning A/C, rapid battery depletion, and system errors. The next Chevy Bolt I received had a dirty interior and malfunctioning windshield wipers, making driving dangerous during rain. I received a parking ticket for no registration sticker (NY plates). Though I was told I wouldn't be held responsible, the incident adds to the lack of accountability in vehicle management. Failure to Honor Compensation and Corporate Agreements: I was granted a free rental day and 20% compensation by Avis corporate. When I attempted to apply these to my contract, Ella refused, claiming her supervisor would not approve it. She also questioned why I received compensation in the first place, further escalating the confrontation. Previous Attempts to Resolve: 07/09/25: Case ID 72748154 Tanisha (Supervisor) Sheila (Phone call @ 8:44 AM) Latoya (ID 41913 @ 8:30 AM) Melody Smith (Supervisor, 3:15 PM) 07/23/25: Compensation offered: 20% off / $86.00 07/24/25: Case ID 74439755 Zandi (Supervisor ID 347100 @ 8:50 PM) Despite these communications, no resolution has been provided, and the treatment from local staff remains dismissive and hostile. I am requesting that this matter be formally investigated and addressed. I have been a consistent, paying customer and have received substandard service, potentially unsafe vehicles, and an alarming lack of accountability at the Bayonne Avis location. I am not comfortable continuing to do business at this location but should not have to go out of my way to receive basic professional service. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am happy to provide further documentation or speak with an investigator if needed.

    Super smooth experience getting and returning our Enterprise rental car at Newark Airport…read more Our flight was due in at 11pm but we landed late and luggage was slow so we got to Enterprise after 1am. A friendly employee was still there waiting for our flight's passengers to come through and had us sign a quick e-form. Unlike the airport employees who were not interested in helping us find our delayed luggage, the Enterprise employees (despite it being 1am) were friendly and accommodating! We signed a quick form with them. The Enterprise parking lot was empty - entirely cleared out - so they sent us to the next lot over, National (their sister brand). There were a handful of SUVs left and we were told to pick the one we wanted. We found a Chevy, all clean and ready for us. Turned on the heat, adjusted the mirrors, and we were on our way. I forgot to ask about the tollpass because we were exhausted at 1am, but found out later that we'd just be billed by mail for any tolls.

The car was dropped off Saturday evening April 4th. Upon returning the car in Newark, I had an excellent experience with this car rental service, thanks entirely to the outstanding support I received from Shanteeya. From the moment I arrived, she was cordial, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. What really stood out was how she handled an unexpected issue. I was given a car remote with a dying battery, which immediately added stress to my trip. Instead of brushing it off, she responded with empathy and understanding, acknowledging how inconvenient that situation could be. Shanteeya stayed calm, listened carefully, and quickly worked toward a solution. Not only did they replace the remote promptly, but they also reassured me throughout the process, which made a huge difference in easing my frustration. Their approach was truly solutions oriented, they identified the problem and made sure everything was fully resolved before I left. She, then, proceeded to support me with removing the car seat which had gotten stuck in the 2nd row. Going above and beyond like that isn't something you see every day. Because of their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help, what could have been a stressful event turned into a positive experience. I'm very grateful for her support and would happily rent here again because of the exceptional service that was provided.
