Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. However, note the following: Packing and moving services were both utilized. Representative came to review primary location of belongings to be moved (approx. 90-95% of the total) and was provided with a detailed video of the remaining items, stored at a different location. Despite this upfront information, (a) the total weight was significantly in excess of the estimated amount, resulting in damage to the transport vehicle and a 2-day delay, and (b) at the secondary location the supervisor informed us that there was insufficient room for everything. He had to be cajoled and convinced into making the extra effort... which proved effective and successful. A number of bookcases were damaged during while handling and required subsequent repair, at our expense. One item was a tool cabinet containing a variety of hand tools, hardware, and the like. The crew's solution to this was to simply wrap and seal the cabinet in plastic, and put it in the truck. By the time it was in place at the destination, we found that the contents were in utter chaos, luckily with minimal breakage. Some softbound oversized books were placed in boxes haphazardly or sloppily, resulting in significant creasing of wide swaths of pages. A few items additional appear to have gone missing (none of particular value) and a small number of items were broken. Overall I would in fact recommend their services, particularly in consideration of the pricing, but I would strongly recommend that if you contact them for packing services that these be closely and carefully supervised.

Not only is CubeSmart cleaner than PSS, but having to use your code to have elevators stop on 2 or 3 makes it pretty hard for a random person to get up to the upper floors. I like that the doors open completely flat, you get to use every square inch of your unit unlike places with a roll up door which eats into headroom. I also like that you don't have to buy THEIR lock.

Got a 10x10 unit in November 2016 after having unit(s) in Extra Space Storage in HoHoKus for 10…read moreyears. I THOUGHT that I'd feel safer in a place with gated access, but this past winter the entrance gate was broken for about 6 weeks...basically ANYONE could drive in and enter the building where the storage units are because once inside the gate, that's it, no more security. I started to notice that the fire doors on my floor were ALWAYS open. I reported it. I was told by a manager that someone was just being lazy. Well that someone seemed to always forget every time I visited because they were always open. Like other comments, they raised the rent frequently, so they sucker you in with a low rate and make it up pretty quickly. Also the cart situation, frequently NO carts to be had, people left them on the floors. In September we had a sudden cold snap so I went to get my out of season clothes and met a woman exiting the elevator with a broom and dustpan filled with mouse dropping's from her unit. Yup, I'm outta here! Luckily just up route 46 is CubeSmart, incredibly CLEAN and SAFE. You need a code for the gate AND the elevator. Got there early Sunday to move in and the office staff was walking the hallways picking up trash and sweeping.

He was dispatched through Agero by our insurance company. I specifically noted on the Agero tow request, that the car would require a flat bed that could handle a vehicle low to the ground. This type of car can not be towed just from the front. The owner arrived with a pickup truck that had only the front tow bar. I voiced my concerns and he was fully aware of the type of car. He told me it would be fine with rear dollies. As he pulled out of our driveway, I heard a crack and saw a large piece of the lower plastic underbody panel protection fall off. I drove straight to our mechanic behind him, who also saw him pull in and watched him unload. Due to the vehicle being too low, the tow driver had to use wood blocks to prop the front up and even rocks get it off the tow bar. Brian, our driver, who happens to also own Dargnt, told me to send an estimate and it would be taken care of. He seemed like a stand up and forthright person. Since the day I sent the estimate he has disappeared for months. His chosen method of securing the car broke not only the front underbody panel, but also the mid underbody panel, both mud flaps and the side protection panels. We are now filing a complaint against Dargnt with both our insurance and Agero, as well as sending all pictures taken by both my mechanic and myself while the car was hooked up to his truck. If you are using this tow company through a third party beware! We had planned to use Dargnt after our first interaction to transport our other seasonal cars. We will never use this company again.
