It's reasonably priced, especially for what many people consider a great dupe of a much more expensive sunscreen. I'll definitely be putting mine to good use on my upcoming travels and outdoor adventures. As always, Trader Joe's delivers on the things I love most - a clean, well-organized store, friendly staff, and a fun selection of products that always seems to lead to a some impulse purchases - whoops! The only reason for four stars instead of five is the parking lot. Like many Trader Joe's locations, it can be a bit of a challenge, especially during busy times. Fortunately, I lucked out on both of my recent visits and found spots without much trouble. Overall, another great Trader Joe's location. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town and need to stock up on my new favorite sunscreen... and, of course, I'll likely leave with a cart full of things I never planned on buying, too!

The store has been here near 40 years. My friend Dena who lives across the street from Bob's...I mean Jd's always calls it Bob's, so be patient with me. This store first came to my attention when it was in the news a lot, after the Price-rite chain came to town. But that is ancient history now. Anyway, after a short visit with my friend, I hobbled across the street to...Jd's. Yes, very friendly people there, and helpful. There was not a large selection of fresh produce, but what there was looked fresh and the prices were very compatible with my shopping experiences earlier this week. I bought a beautiful apple for 54¢. Dena always brags on their meats. There were some very nice cuts of beef, some sausages, some pork chops, wings, also some salads. I'm not a big beef eater, so I asked if they had ground pork. The woman said we can grind it for you. I said I'd like a pound. It was nicely wrapped in white butcher paper. The freezer section had a lot of frozen meats, things that had been prepared into patties and meatballs, all ready to take home to your freezer. On my way to the checkout, I spied a bag of dry large lima beans, so I grabbed that, too. I've been making a lot of soups lately. On the downside, the store is small and parking is street only. The upside there is that they do deliver, citywide, I think. And there is a website. The big plus for me was the ground pork I bought there. When I got home, I unwrapped it in order to divide into two half-pound containers for freezing. Beautiful. I have never seen such lean and good looking ground pork. At $3.82 for my package, it might have been a few cents more than the fatty ground pork I used to buy. I'll definitely go back to Jd's for that. Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. They also have a "fresh meat" section, but it wasn't set up yet. On the left side when you walk in, there are 3 aisles filled with an assortment of household items, cleaning supplies, DVDs, and silverware. The store has a feel of a run-down Asian market. I asked the lady at the register if they are new, and she said, "Yes. We opened 2 weeks ago." It's always cool to check out new businesses that open around the neighborhood.
