He was the sweetest cat, much like a dog and was misdiagnosed terribly by another vet! We were devastated and traumatized. Peaceful Pet was so caring and empathetic. Calling Peaceful Pet, was not only reassuring, but they are true animal lovers and respect your furbabies. Dr. Hinsch and Michelle handled everything with kindness, patience, and respect, creating a peaceful and comforting experience for Tiger and my partner and me. Their presence was calm and reassuring, allowing us to say our goodbyes without feeling rushed. We are deeply grateful for their support during such a difficult time and highly recommend them to anyone facing this heartbreaking decision.

They were very reassuring that we were making the right decision and talked us through the whole process. My dog who is usually anxious around vets was made to be comfortable. They are not skittish around tears. They provided us with a mold of my dogs paw and took care of her cremation. I recommend using them when it's time for your pup.

Today we retrieved the remains of our beloved senior pups, Dude and Patti. It was a "joint"…read moreeuthanasia as both pups had various health issues that could not be fixed with another visit to our local vet. Anyone with a pet, faces the inevitable and it's not an easy decision but most of the time, it is the only decision one can make and the most humane and merciful. Such was the case with my pups. Dude was 18 years old and Patti was 15 years old. Both were rescues. I love them dearly and miss them every day. When it came time to let go, we chose Kindred Spirits. I had never used a service in home and always went to the vet's office. This time, I decided that I did not want to subject my pups to a 20 minute drive which was always stressful to them, causing them undue anxiety. I wanted their last moments to be at home, surrounded with their family and in a place that was familiar to them...not antiseptic with other dogs barking and the chatter of strangers. I am so glad we went with Kindred Spirits. From my first contact with Alice, who set-up the appointment to meeting Dr. Kellie Barrett, DVM who handled the pups with warmth, kindness, compassion and gave us as much time as needed to spend the last moments with Dude and Patti. It was the last thing I was able to do for my loving, dear pups and it was the best thing for them. I will never regret the decision. I only regret that I couldn't have them with me longer. My thanks and gratitude to both Dr. Barrett and Alice.

We were quickly guided to a room where I filled out paper work and were a few questions. Noticing my dog's nervousness around a male staff member, I shared that she does get that way around men. Thankfully, they were able to have a female staff members continue to provide the wellness exam my dog needed. All was done with caution, care and cookies! I was updated in an ongoing manner with information. The team went above and beyond to not make my pup feel uncomfortable.

I definitely went to the wrong place, they took Kitty into the back and assured me they were going to "hook her up" and then I could say goodbye and they would put her down in front of me. They took her into the other room full of barking dogs and she was dead when they brought her back. I have had so many sleepless nights and I am full of regret from bringing her to this place. 21 years of warm memories with a beloved friend and it's all turned into a trauma dump for me because all I can think about is how I let her down, I wasn't there for her at the end. She died in a strangers arms wondering where I was in front of a wall of barking caged up dogs. I never wanted to leave her side but the vet tech assured me she would be right back and would be fine. This is easily the worst experience from any single business in my lifetime. They brought back a lifeless cat and tried to play it off.... If I didn't have a baby and a busy schedule I would be pursuing legal action against these monsters. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I understand I brought my cat there to be put down, but they forced her away from me and did it with me in the other room. when I came back to pick up her ashes they described her as "the really squirmy one" she didn't trust many people and I was by far her favorite, I could've calmed her down and let her end be peaceful but this business ensured that she died terrified. I'll be looking forward to the day this place closes.

Although I took their information, I didn't think much about it until my 10-year-old Mastiff, Hagrid, was diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago. When we initially planned to have him put down, I intended to go with the traditional cremation option. However, I remembered Cholla and decided to cancel the cremation to give them a call. I can honestly say I am so grateful I found out about them. They were fantastic and offered the option of a sprinkling ceremony, which allowed us to place flowers and herbs on Hagrid before he began his journey. It was a beautiful experience that meant so much to my family and me. Additionally, Cholla collaborates with a shelter for older animals. When I dropped Hagrid off, I was able to donate some of his items, knowing they would go to a good cause. I miss my old man dearly, but I cannot express enough how thankful I am for Cholla Afterlife.
