All staff treated us with kindness and respect during our visit. Upon entering there was another dog at the counter with their owner, therefore, we received quick instructions to wait at the seating area. We were quickly guided to a room where I filled out paper work and were a few questions. Noticing my dog's nervousness around a male staff member, I shared that she does get that way around men. Thankfully, they were able to have a female staff members continue to provide the wellness exam my dog needed. All was done with caution, care and cookies! I had my cat for 21 years, she was my baby for 21 years and she trusted me fully. Her health declined quickly at the end and she had a really painful night so I decided to put her down to end her suffering. I definitely went to the wrong place, they took Kitty into the back and assured me they were going to "hook her up" and then I could say goodbye and they would put her down in front of me. They took her into the other room full of barking dogs and she was dead when they brought her back. I have had so many sleepless nights and I am full of regret from bringing her to this place. 21 years of warm memories with a beloved friend and it's all turned into a trauma dump for me because all I can think about is how I let her down, I wasn't there for her at the end. She died in a strangers arms wondering where I was in front of a wall of barking caged up dogs. I never wanted to leave her side but the vet tech assured me she would be right back and would be fine. This is easily the worst experience from any single business in my lifetime. They brought back a lifeless cat and tried to play it off.... If I didn't have a baby and a busy schedule I would be pursuing legal action against these monsters. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I understand I brought my cat there to be put down, but they forced her away from me and did it with me in the other room. when I came back to pick up her ashes they described her as "the really squirmy one" she didn't trust many people and I was by far her favorite, I could've calmed her down and let her end be peaceful but this business ensured that she died terrified. Will test for parvo and charge you when you already know its not parvo. just weird vibes in general. Don't recommend. Make you pay super high for visit even if it's a checkup EVERYTIME to see how the lacky medicine is "working". priced HIGH medicine and doesn't work. Would not recommend this vet. The tech immediately rescheduled before doing any vitals on our anxious dog, but still charged us for a "tech exam." After questioning why the charge was still added, they say they were being nice by only charging a tech exam, instead of a full visit. After we requested that they look into it further, they stated that they were being nice by not charging the whole vet visit because it took up an appointment slot. We had to pay the charge, but we have since found a new clinic. read more

My dog has very bad allergies which was my primary reason for the visit. The vet who fills in saw him and came up with several other reasons why he was having these symptoms......heart, collapsed trachea, etc. but did not really address the allergy issue. I think what bothered me the most was she does not listen and dismisses what you have to offer. She might have the degree but I know my dog since I've had him for 13 years. I left after a $500+ bill with no issues resolved. I wanted a refill for allergy medicine that has worked for him in the past. She dismissed that as well and instead recommended an over the counter medicine. My 5 pound dog has trouble with many medications so I wanted to stay with something I know he can take without issues. I will not be returning and I do not recommend. The vet tech was amazing. I wish she was the vet. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

We have had several emergencies in the last few months and Rolling Hills has been so beyond wonderful for every one of them. Dr. Richert and Dr. Z are the most caring and wonderful vets that you could ever hope to have. After trying to switch to another vet closer to the house, and discovering they had zero understanding of severe anxiety disorders, they almost cost my dog his life when they put us in a situation that caused rapid withdrawal from his medication. Dr. Richert, even though we had left the practice, stepped up to refill his medication to make sure he didn't suffer while we made the transition back over to their clinic, she has always come through for him. Our rescued kitten had a pretty bad respiratory infection and our 4 year old tortie wound up with some pretty serious blocked bowels, Dr. Z got them both back up on track and feeling like their best selves. We are so grateful for the staff here, we would be lost with all of you, to include the awesome vet techs and desk staff, your knowledge, and your kindness. Thank you for all you do! never again coming back .my estimate was over 1000 which wasn't what upset me. i was upset for hospitalization care for $26 to leave my dog to get tested, that is pure greed. i asked them to waive that otherwise i will never come back and they said no . so i walked . within a few minutes after me paying for my visit , i had a dead battery so i decided to changed my mind and get it over with and the lady came out for lunch and i told her i changed my mind and go ahead i would ok to leave my dog and pay for that hospitalization and she said too late out of time, i barely came out of the building . she said because they are on lunch. i asked to just open the door i would leave my dog and she couldn't so that's a sign for me definitely never to come back . pure greed . and i just walked out of the clinic and u won't open the door to leave my dog for the test is ridiculous read more

Why doesn't anyone ever answer the phone? It's beyond frustrating. Put me on hold, I don't mind. Why does nobody ever call me back when I do leave a message on the voicemail? Apart from that, the staff is really nice. Gabby is super helpful and you can tell she loves animals. I just wish they had more support in the front desk area. I had to switch my dogs to another clinic because I could never get a hold of anyone to even book an appointment! read more

I went yesterday with a very sick doggie, the staff and doctor listen to me and all were very professional and came up with an affordable game plan to start a treatment for my doggie. After one day she is doing better (still earlier though). I am switching vets to Rolling hills and if they keep up the professional service with compassion they will have me for life as a customer. My little guy got very sick and was seen at this clinic. I was crying the entire time pretty much because I was sure I would Not be Leaving with him. The staff was pleasant but I was not happy with the care we received. His blood work had come back normal And that she had given him some medication for worms. His symptoms did not seem to indicate something of that sort. Two days Later I called them back and told them that he was worse. Money is real thai right now so that was a big concern. I explained to them that he had been seen two days Prior and had gotten even sicker. All I was told was to take him to emergency. I thought that maybe since they had seen him. They would get him in, and maybe it wouldn't cost so much. I know emergency can be quite pricey. I just felt like they saw my baby And as far as any continuing care that they pawned me off on someone else. He passed the next day. I took one of my cats in to get established. Wasn't a fan of my old vet, and my cat is getting older and was developing a lump. Had to pay for the appointment up front. It took them over an hour to even look at my boy (and several more to check out), plus they tried to get me to pay for $200 worth of services I didn't need. I was told I would get a follow up about quoting for getting the lump removed. Months later and no response. Just generic "oh we'll get back to you!" Don't bother giving them money. They won't follow up and actually care for your animals. Edir: two months later and they call me for a quote about dental work. I took him to another vet and got him taken care of same day. Thanks for the auto generated crappy message. You clearly don't care about the pets and just the money. read more

Absolutely love Dr. Haskell and the girls in the front as well as the amazing techs! You can tell that the doctor and her staff genuinely care about their patients. We've been going here for our little yorkie's veterinary care for years. Dr. Haskell and her staff make her feel at ease and are always very gentle with her. She is a 5 lb senior little lady. They are not out to rob you blind like some not so great clinics we've been to. They really work with you and now offer payment plans, care credit, and packages that cater to your pet.They also offer a discount for military on services rendered. I highly recommend them to everyone that is local here in Tucson. They also offer urgent care appointments and when they are not available they have prompts for local emergency vets where you just press a button and it automatically transfers you. Again, they really care & go the extra mile! Dr. Haskell is very professional and knowledgeable. She's always happy to explain exactly what is going on in a way that the client can understand. I feel having this understanding makes it that much better for the patient to get the best care. They offer spay/neuter among other surgeries like cyst removal, blood work, medication, fecal testing, vaccines, treatment of many health conditions such as allergies, heart worm, fleas, ticks, etc. They are small from the outside but don't be fooled they have 6 rooms and a full amazing staff! I really feel that my dog is getting the best care when we are here. We will be back soon for a recheck and always look forward to seeing friendly faces! read more

My dog got her annual check up and vaccines three weeks ago. One of the vaccines requires a booster three weeks later. I was forced to pay for another 50 dollar checkup at this time without being informed prior. Two checkups in three weeks (mind you today's lasted about 3 minutes and still cost 50!!) Complete exploitation of their customers. Also only offer a six month bordatella; another money grab! Doctor also rudely told me to "go somewhere else". Run quickly from this place! read more

I have taken Leonidas there for about two years now, unfortunately he is a nervous Nelly, but we started seeing Dr. Deutsch and he has been the best with Leo! Vet tech tried 6-8 times in rapid succession to get blood from my dog's neck vein. He was so traumatized, he couldn't pee until the next day. He was not on meds & does not have a urinary condition. That is not how you treat an animal. Run from this office until they have better techs. You rarely get to see the vet. read more

I ended up adopting a sick cat on Thanksgiving. I was able to get a quick appointment. The staff was great and Dr. Haskell is very knowledgeable and caring. They took good care of the cat and took the time to explain her issues, explain the costs, and recommend options that were reasonable. I would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Haskell. read more

the previous staff was super nice and professional. we always took the family cat here, and they did well with her even though she could be a handful at the vet. however, since taking my new cat here, years later, i have found them to be incredibly rude and make unprofessional comments in the hallway outside your room, thinking you can't hear them. i won't be returning. sad to see them go downhill! read more

I really like Rolling Hills, but I love Dr. Haskell. She has been the vet for both of my dogs since I got them (3yrs now). The clinic is always good about sending me reminders for vaccinations. Also they are good about working with my schedule. In addition, when I have taken a dog in sick, they always call and follow up. Once, I went to an emergency vet when my dog was extremely sick. They were pushing me to have tons and tons of tests done and it didn't feel right. But I called Dr. Haskell the next day and she saw my dog, and said that what the other vet was trying to do was not necessary. Again, they called me a couple of times for follow-up just to make sure my dog was okay. I have since moved to the other side of town and will make the drive to continue to have my dogs seen there. I have had nothing but great service from the staff, and especially Dr. Haskell. read more

Would not recommend this vet to anyone. Took my cat in and of course as most cats act in a foreign environment, my cat was not a happy camper. Met with a vet named Cohen and he was not a friendly person and was also condescending at times. He also made smart comments towards me. He then mentions that they might have to sedate my cat so he can make the proper diagnosis without any resistance and I completely agreed since I don't want anyone harmed trying to figure out whats going on with my pet. He left the room for a while and then 5 mins later his assistant came in saying that... the vet thinks its a good idea to get her some meds and come back if the problem continues. I was unhappy, paid the fee, and left. Now I will need to find another vet and schedule another visit and spend more money when I have it. Thanks a lot for taking my money Rolling Hills and giving up on my cat! If anyone knows a good Vet in town, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations. read more

I first visited this clinic with one of my foster dogs who was a mess after surgery complications (done elsewhere). We saw Dr. Haskell and she was amazing. The dog wasn't her original patient, yet she still took the time to go over all of the history in great detail and was excellent at explaining to me all of the issues and options. She treated this dog as if it were my own (sadly, that is rare with rescue animals). This was a very complicated case and she took the time to explore all options and explain every little step of the way, treating me with great respect in explaining medical details. She even reviewed test results and called me from home to go over them. This dog was extremely fear-aggressive and in pain, yet they handled her compassionately and expertly. The clinic staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to answer complex questions or get back to me quickly with answers. The dog is still in my care and I still choose to take her to Dr. Haskell despite living 70 miles round-trip drive from the clinic and having to pay out of pocket (not through the rescue group), because the care is that excellent. I will be bringing my own pets to this clinic despite the long commute. Dr. Haskell is truly wonderful. read more

Haskell.. shes the most loving vet out there.. wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else :-) But the one bad experience i had was with dr cohen.. my cat was not doing to good so i brought him in unfortunately haskell wasnt there and but i dropped the kitty off go be put down and he called me back and said he wouldn't cuz the cat was fine just needed dental work. So i took the cat home and he got worse so i decided to take him to the humane society and by the time we got there he was dead.. i was mad that dr cohen basically made my cat suffer because he was to lazy to see the cat wasnt good :-( read more

Took my adopted pet from PACC for the 1st free visit here. They were very nice and friendly. Didn't have to wait long to see the vet. They even switched out the cone of shame for free to a bigger size so my dog couldn't lick his incisions. Over all great experience, would highly recommend taking your fur babies here. read more

Awful place and a terrible rip-off. I brought my 2 dogs in for their annual exams this past March. I also wanted one of my dog's x-rayed because he was having some old age limping going on. They completed the x-rays for about $200 then told me that they did not have any staff certified to read them so it would cost another $200 to have them sent away to be read. Fast forward 4 months later, my husband and I were about to go on vacation. I call Rolling Hills to have our dogs vaccination records sent to the kennel...only to find that one of my dogs did not get vaccinated! WHY WOULD A PET OWNER ONLY OPT TO HAVE ONE OF HER DOGS VACCINATED?! Yeah, okay....this is what happened.....I walked in and said "Good afternoon, I would like both my pets to have exams today, but please, only vaccinate Roscoe. What about Zeus you ask? No, Zeus is originally from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania. He told me that it would be a disgrace to his people if I vaccinated him. Please pay no mind that he got his vaccinations here last March, he was not feeling as connected to his people back then. We only want 1 set of vaccinations today" If it was a mistake, I get it, apologize...offer us the vaccinations.....something! All they did was sit there and say "Yes, we have your records" (then proceed to hand me only the records for the other dog). I was getting on a plane and was trying to drop the dogs off that morning. We were stuck and Zeus had to stay home while Roscoe went to the kennel by himself. We had our neighbor come over 3x a day to check on him. Problem with that was that he has terrible separation anxiety and practically destroyed the house. He also is 115lbs and a growly breed so he scares most anyone coming over. There were times our neighbors were uncomfortable with him. He needed to be around professionals in our trusted kennel we use. He is great around people, just not as great when unfamiliar people are walking into his territory and he hasn't seen his 'Dad' in days. The woman with the British accent at the front desk is absent-minded and has made this whole process terrible. My husband went in yesterday to get both of the dogs medical records and they told him he could only have the shot record for Roscoe. Since we wanted the whole charts I called back to ask why we weren't getting them. She is now requesting them now and they have to be approved by the doc (I understand this). I asked for them to be expedited since we had been trying to get these since yesterday. I truly despise this clinic. I have never gone there and actually received worthwhile care for either of my dogs and I cannot even trust them to vaccinate them appropriately. I went there initially because when I moved out to Tucson to be with my husband this was already the vet he took Zeus (his dog) to. I have taken him there in the past for other issues as well and have never been impressed. Prior to this vaccination issue I was looking for a new vet all together but was in no rush because they had just had their annual exams and should have been good till next year. STAY AWAY from this place! They are even pricey compared to other clinics in the area and all for nothing. Poor facility, low quality staff, high price-tag. The last thing anyone needs is to unexpectedly find out their vet did not practice standard care on their animals. It still blows my mind that they only vaccinated one.... read more

love the entire staff. caring and warm...they treat your pets like their own. every single time we have needed to take our pets to dr. h and staff, we always receive an after-hours follow-up call to check on our furbabies. ALWAYS. and it's not 5:15...it's 7:30 or later. for a vet to do that, to take time out of their off-time to do that, really speaks volumes about the care and commitment they have to our animals. they are the best! read more
