It's been a very long time since I've felt compelled to review anything. I went into Pricz tonight because the reviews were great, I remember hearing the name a long time ago and it was close to where I was and open. I'm so glad I stopped in. I had been wanting three small pieces and the staff were super friendly and helpful and the owner was awesome. I frequently make my first visit to shops I visit with all my tattoos covered because I've had shops quote me very high prices when they think it's my first piece. This kind of behavior says a lot about a shop's integrity. All my tattoos were covered tonight and the quotes I received were more than reasonable and significantly lower than a shop I got a quote from a couple months ago. Everything felt very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff printed multiple sizes of the pic I sent her so she could see which size I liked best and I really appreciated that. There was a bit of a wait since it was a friday and I was a walk-in but the owner brought us all water which I thought was such a nice touch. The process was quick and as painless as you can find when you're literally having needles repeatedly stabbed into your skin. I absolutely love all three of my new tattoos and can't wait to go back for a custom piece. Pricz isn't anywhere near I live but I'm happy to drive across town for a shop I enjoy and feel safe coming to for my work. read more

Pricz has been at this location for SO LONG. I finally was able to visit for a new tattoo and I was very happy with the process and the staff. The waiting area is super fun to sit in and look through the various designs. The staff helped me immediately and got to work on drafting my idea, which was a simple line-work only project. I was done in under an hour and I am very happy with the tattoo and the touchup of another small tattoo. I was making a mental list of more that I need to return to get even, and I hadn't had ink done in about 4 years. What I am MOST happy with was Miguel's gentle hand. This was my third tattoo and even though it was small, the healing process was so fast and aside from the procedure itself, I experienced NO pain or itching whatsoever. Miguel also recommended using plain lotion instead of vaseline or Tattoo Goo during the healing process, which no one had ever told me before. It healed up SUPER nicely! read more

I was going to wait for JoJo to return... and got very impatient. I as wanted this tat done like yesterday as the picture was burning a hole in my phone. I showed some people at the office I work at and it was recommended to go to this specific place. Which I will not mention due to I work with the spouse of the owner at the tat shop. His worker done the tat at the direction of his wife and did not inform him of exactly what we want and my tat got totally screwed up. He even asks how I liked it and I straight told him that I HATED! I was almost on the verge of tears. His wife tried to convince us that it would look much better once the swelling goes down well it didn't improve any and I still hated that one side of her face was so dark you couldn't even see the features of her eye and it wasn't what I asked for. They said to come back and you'll do what they have to do to make it better and get me to be happy. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me $1000. Today my sister took me for my 62nd Birthday to Pricz Tattoo even though Jojo wasn't back and said to try Trae as he is the best at doing coverups. Let me tell you I kick myself in the ass for not waiting to get the tattoo done in the first place by Trae at Pricz Tattoo. Even though the arm is swollen it still looks 110% better than what was done originally. Unfortunately I did not take a before picture as I hated it so much I didn't want no one to see it. just imagine the right side of the picture being so dark that you couldn't even see the face now at least you can make it out. So I'm gonna go ahead and get this out of the way. Unless you are a local, a regular, or have a unique idea don't expect the red carpet treatment. They have the tendency to be....well, pricz. With that said if you come in with a passion piece, like I did, that I had been working on for years, they will treat you and your tattoo with full respect. My artist was Ricky, and I went in twice for consultations before I ever got my work done. He made some great contributions and made the appropriate interpretations where it was needed. The piece is a compass rose that takes up most of my forearm about 6" x 5" with 2 colors and some mild shading. His quote of $250 I felt was beyond reasonable. My ex also came here with a friend to get a butterfly and her friend wanted a star. To which, her friend was told: "we don't do stars...unless you're a star. No stars, and no brass knuckles unless you're a fighter." To some extent you want to say, hey wait a minute I'm the customer here. But in this instance I just appreciate the integrity. These people are artists, and probably sick and tired of the typical Vegas douchebagery. If you want a celebrity sighting, an $8 cocktail while you wait, or a perky receptionist, then head to one of the spots on the strip, and enjoy paying 30-50% more for the same piece. But if you want something original that isn't right out of a book or a cliche then head to Pricz. read more

This is hands down the only place I will ever get a tattoo at. Trae and JoJo are the most awesome people you will ever meet. I got my first tattoo on my left calf freehanded by Trae (he does amazing freehand), I gave him my one word idea which was "Wolf" and he handled the rest. Not only is he great at tattooing, he is such a funny and smart guy, you can sit and talk with him for hours and I guarantee you will learn something new. I had to get another piece freehanded by Trae on the left side of my back. Again, all I said was, "I want a barbarian", and he already had it figured out. It took him only 4 hours total to do the entire thing, split into 2 hour sessions, and including draw time. Once again I am itching for another freehanded piece by him he is my favorite artist and the most solid dude you will meet. I have yet to get a tattoo from JoJo, but all the work I have seen from her have been gorgeous, vibrant pieces. She does amazing color work, her pinup girls are sexy as hell, her lines are crisp and clean, and she has a hell of a personality. I'm saving an entire limb for her just because she is someone I want to remember for the rest of my life. If you are looking to get your first tattoo, get an old tattoo refurbished, or a tattoo in general, this is definitely the place you want to be. They both know their craft top to bottom, they are both genuinely good, nice people, and they both make you feel at home. Instead, Pricz tattoo offers the comfort of your local barbershop, with the prices of an off-the-strip parlor, and experienced artsits. A few times I have walked in, and the girl at the front desk wasn't very interested in answering my questions or discussing the artists. After looking at some other places and getting quotes we decided to come back here. We are glad we did. Walk-ins only so you take a small risk but show up early and you will get the artist while he is fresh. We got our tattoos done by Trae.
