They repaired a tire I thought needed replacing-Fair and Honest I will return.

I've gotten my car serviced here three times in the last few months all for different reasons. The service advisors always go above and beyond to make me feel welcome, understand the issues I'm facing, and explaining the service they're providing. I've worked with Letizia, Rodrigo, and Omar now and they are the best of the best! Besides the great coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks, I know they will not price gauge me and get me out quickly with a safer vehicle. The technicians know what they're doing too. The vehicle does not have to be a Chevy to get quality maintenance and repairs. This was told to me by Letizia when I first came in, which is great information to keep in the back of my mind when recommending them to friends and family. Every now and then I'll see one of the techs talking to the manager or with staff. They always look so busy but remain pleasant. Same goes for the current manager busy but customer-centric and welcoming. Its hard finding a trusted shop and people appreciate the integrity and kindness and so like me they keep coming back. I don't trust just anyone with my beloved high mileage vehicle. I want my baby to last, and this shop helps me keep it running like new. I no longer sweat car issues,10/10 would recommend. Thank you to the Pride Chevy Service Team!

The atmosphere feels like it comes from good management everyone seems genuinely happy to help. My routine service was free, the alignment was an unexpected cost, but had it done because i did not want the expense of tires in the near future, and the cost of the wipers was better than I expected. The best part of the entire visit was the complimentary ride home when I dropped off my car. I wasn't expecting that at all and thought I'd have to order an Uber, but they took care of it. The driver was extremely friendly and made the experience even better. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and the people. Atlantic Toyota earned an A+ from me.

Valvoline caught it, called parts dept, guy admitted the mistake. I drive back, get the right transfer case fluid after speaking to a manager. Idiot employee prints up the manual page that says gear oil can be used if transfer case fluid isn't available. Wrong day to double down moron. People come to the dealership to get spec parts not available anyplace else. My truck has 15,000 miles on it. Just paid $34,000 for it. You think I want the adequate substitute when the correct fluid IS RIGHT IN THE PARTS ROOM? Read your computer, follow the manual, don't play and act like a hero. At a dealership you're expected to be right, not bobs backyard maintenance. The kid at Valvoline reads the computer screen and does what it says. For any future customers of Atlantic Toyota: bounce what they say off ChatGPT before you get work done. Don't just trust their technical staff. I drove across Lynn and sat in line several times today and all the parts guy said was "oh I didn't sell you that I don't see why you have to talk that way." Maybe try running an accurate show. Changing transfer case fluid is 15 year old level maintenance. Pathetic.

From the beginning of the purchase process of my vehicle from North Shore I was treated with disrespect. Jason was incredibly kind, but not able to help without assistance from a manager. Boris was rude time and time again. I ended up purchasing because there was a vehicle I was interested in, so much so I was able to overlook the incompetent and rude salesmen. My mistake! After purchase and delivery (a day later than promised) I have had to bring the car into the manufacturer 3 times. The car left the North Shore Auto Mall after "being inspected by their mechanics" and was deemed by them as safe on the road. I brought the car to the manufacturer and it did not pass a safety inspection. NORTH SHORE AUTO MALL LACKS KNOWLEDGE AND IS NEGLIGENT! Never would I have expected the car to be unsafe to drive after being assured from the manager, Kevin, the dealership's mechanics had looked over it. To think I have been driving an unsafe vehicle for months is beyond concerning. I scheduled an appointment to have the vehicle inspected by the manufacturer, but due to their schedule was not able to get the car in until today. North Shore's mechanics suggested there might have been some issues with the front suspension after they had inspected the vehicle. They did not feel it necessary to address these issues before release of the vehicle, and suggested I follow up with the manufacturer after I picked up the vehicle. Perhaps if they had brought the car to the manufacturer to see that there was no issues before they sold the vehicle this all would have been avoided. Turns out the issues are in the rear end. Seems like a major detail to have confused. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, as safety is not something that is a concern to them. I should have listened to the previous reviews, but decided not to. Please do not make the same mistake I did when it comes to such a major decision, purchasing a vehicle from North Shore Auto Mall

When I contacted the service advisor, Stephanie, she told me that the dealership had no proof that the dash camera was in the vehicle when I dropped it off. In response, I sent her video footage clearly showing that the dash camera was installed in my car when I brought it to the dealership. After receiving the video in May of this year, Stephanie told me that she had forwarded the matter to the service manager. Since then, I have not received a single phone call or email regarding my claim. I have repeatedly tried to contact the dealership, but they rarely answer the phone. On the occasions when someone does answer, I am told that they will speak with the manager and get back to me. However, no one has ever followed up. My dash camera was stolen while my vehicle was in the dealership's care, and despite providing evidence and making multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the dealership has failed to take responsibility or even communicate with me.

This is how I have always bought all my cars over the course of several decades, a straightforward process that cuts out all the usual opportunities for sales shenanigans and minimizes the usual PITA of buying a new car...far better than walking in unprepared and letting yourself get screwed every which way (e.g. bait and switch, bogus hidden charges, made-up "accessory packages," etc.), which is exactly what the haggle-based dealership sales model is designed to foster. I chose Kelly Honda because they offered me the best OTD price among the 8 or 10 dealerships within a 100 mile radius of Boston that I contacted on a hard-to-find hybrid model, which most dealers are still selling at or *above* MSRP in this horrible post-pandemic marketplace of low supply and high demand resulting in inflated street prices. (Last time I bought a new car, in 2012, I paid $4K *under* MSRP using the aforementioned purchasing technique.) Amy was an excellent sales rep who finalized the deal, and I'd also recommend her highly. The only reason I deducted one star is because the car in question was NOT available for immediate pickup as had been implied (mainly due to them closing early on Saturdays and being completely closed on Sundays which is very bizarre to me), but that is a small quibble in the bigger picture, really. I mean, you could really do much, much worse. Some of the other dealers' reps I interacted with during my car hunt were slimy a-holes as well as refusing to budge on their pricing, whom I'd trust about as far as I can throw them. Bottom line is that I felt good about my purchase and general experience with Kelly Honda. Now, they give you free oil changes for the first two years which I will happily make use of, but beyond that, I plan to take the car to an independent garage (honest mechanics are not easy to find but they do exist---WAR Auto Tech in Malden is my current favorite) for all SERVICE needs. For all the folks who left 1-2 star reviews due to terrible car SERVICE experiences here, what did you expect? Dealerships are called *stealer-ships* when it comes to car service for a reason, padding the bill and inventing "make-work" is their bread and butter! TAKEAWAYS: 1. Figure out exactly what model/trim you want, don't ask a dealer to help you because of course they'll upsell you as much as they can and/or steer you towards whatever models that give THEM the fattest margins. 2. Negotiate an OTD price before you step foot on the premises. 3. Test drive the car before you finalize. 4. Skip trade-ins and financing. 5. Get all post-sale service done at an independent shop.

What makes it worse is the clear pattern of targeting those who are less likely to question them, particularly women. I was treated like I wouldn't understand or challenge the maintenance quotes -- and that's exactly what they counted on. They've not only DOUBLED their maintenance costs in only the last 2 years but tripled the costs in some cases for their parts as well and I'm disgusted they're not only adjusting for inflation but going for a money grab at whatever means possible. Additionally, the wait times are so ridiculous, they kept my car for maintenance for days without telling me and just given a "sorry we haven't finished" excuse. And beyond the dealership's behavior, I've had more recalls on my Honda Insight than should even be legal. For a car that's supposed to be reliable and efficient, the number of factory defects is alarming. I've had my car shut down on me and had the turn signals completely stop working while driving. Between the recalls and the dealership's manipulative service practices, I've completely lost trust in both the brand and this location. This place does not care about integrity or customers -- only profit. I will never return and strongly warn others especially those who are less mechanically experienced. I will be doing my maintenance business anywhere else from now and regret getting my car here. Please avoid this place that feels like hell and go anywhere else. Save yourself years of bad experience and money wasted!!
