We test drove a truck but when they checked out our truck, it's actually 4-wheel drive but we didn't have it turned on. (Yes, we will read our manual now) He let us know and basically said that unless we want another truck, we don't need one. No upselling, no guilt. That is why we will continue to come back. My experience with my services on Saturday with prime Chevrolet dealership was not good and it was danger. They did a full oil change and Allenwrench and whatever else they did in my car. This is my second bad experience then. Something is seriously wrong with the mechanics that work there. If you don't want to be responsible for someone's murder, please check the mechanic working there. After I picked up my car on Saturday it was making this weird nose, the more I drove the louder the nose got. I pulled over and I did not see anything. So, my husband asked me to drive home slowly and I did. When my husband put the up to see your mechanic missing a Lugnut on my tired that is why it was shaking. It was a scary experience for me. 3 months ago, I had the worst experience with prime Chevrolet dealership. They had my car for 3 months; it was a huge fight with them and GMC Corporation company. Pride Chevy in Lynn is a textbook example of why the Chevy brand continues to suffer from a poor reputation. Their service department and technicians are nothing short of incompetent. How does a customer schedule an appointment, receive both an email and text confirmation, only to show up and have the service team claim they have no record of it? And don't even get me started on the "service" itself. A simple oil change and windshield wiper blade replacement took over 4 hours. The bare minimum Chevy could do is make the service process tolerable by investing in competent technicians and decent & honest Service Advisors. They might also want to rethink their waiting area, which is less "comfortable" and more "dilapidated." If you're going to charge customers top dollar for overpriced cars and subpar service, the least you could offer is loaner cars, transportation, or at least a decent waiting area with snacks, food and drinks. The fact that a dealership in such a run-down area of Lynn is named "Pride" Chevy is ironic, given there's clearly no pride in anything they do. This place is a disaster, and it's clear that Chevy doesn't care, considering their two-star rating with over 70 reviews. Any company that genuinely values its customers would have fixed this by now. This store is terrible, my cx50 has been there for over a month and they haven't finished the repairs, what has been done on it so far is a terrible job, they didn't do a good job finishing the door, my cx50 is full of rust on the brakes and the tires are flat due to it being parked for a long time, I don't recommend anyone to take the vehicle to this store for repairs read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE!!!!! They quote, invoice, and charge you for parts and labor that are not performed. I paid them $548.63 for an upper and lower shift cable and when I inspected their work, only the upper cable was replaced. The lower cable was never touched even though they quoted, invoiced and charged me for it. I provided them with video and photos of the lower cable showing it was not replaced and I am currently waiting for a reply from them on how they plan to fix this issue. I wonder how many unsuspecting customers paid for parts and service that was never performed? I would have given negative 5 stars if it was available. Buyer beware! P.S. This after trusting them to replace my transmission at a cost of just under $6,000 then realizing they damaged the output shaft seal as it was leaking transmission fluid. I brought it back to them and they even tried to stick the repair on me until I told them I knew what I was talking about and they repaired it under warranty. Makes me sick! read more

This is the second review I've ever made about Chevy. I have acknowledged Miles each time. He's just so understanding and accommodating!!! I was having issues w my SUV and couldn't get in for an appointment for another week. There was no way my car would last that long so I decided it was best to try to get my car to the dealership because it was driving horribly this morning I just showed up; without an appointment. They were very busy however, Miles didn't turn me away. In fact he had the part on hand and fixed the issue the same day!!! I made an appointment a week in advance to bring in my car for service. When I dropped it off on the morning of the scheduled day, I was told it should be ready by that afternoon. I hadn't heard any status update by 4:30pm so I called. The receptionist said the service advisor would call me right back. I didn't hear anything, so tried calling again a little after 5pm and got a recording saying they were closed. So after being told it would be ready that day, they closed for the day without following up with me. The next day was July 4th so I knew then I was out of a car for 2 more days. The morning of the 5th I called at about 8am and was told my car was next to go in. I told him I needed the car back that afternoon so please update me as soon as possible. I called back around 11am to check in and again was told by a receptionist that the service advisor would call right back. I never got a call. Tried calling 3 more times that day with the same result, even after complaining that nobody was calling me back. They told me they'd mark it as "urgent". 5pm came again with no word. By this point my car has been there for 3 days and I had to pay hundreds of dollars to get an UberXL for my family for travel we had to do that night. The next day I still didn't hear anything so at 9am I called again (they open at 7:30am). Again a receptionist said a service advisor would call me back. Didn't hear anything for another hour so I just went in person to recover my vehicle because it had been impossible to reach a human being at the service shop for over 24 hours. Incredibly, at 10am (26 hours after I was told my car was next to go in the shop) I was told again by the same person that my car hadn't been looked at yet and it was next to go in. So my vehicle was there into a 4th day and was never looked at. I asked to speak to a manager but there was none on site. I have been getting service at Pride for nearly a decade, but never again. This was a total nightmare. The dishonesty and lack of any concern for a loyal customer was unbelievable. read more

Pride motor group has been harassing me by phone, called the Lynn police on me, is refusing to refund me money for a year when their letterhead said they would replace my lemon vehicle that I bought "brand new" from them. Pride is trying to blackmail me to remove my reviews from social media. They have been trying to hold back $2000 for a year. The warranty company got back to me and want nothing to do with the criminal actions Pride Motor Group is taking. They are fully aware of the promises, harassment, attempt at stealing from a customer who once gave them a five star review! I will be receiving a 100% refund because the warranty company knows Pride is 100% at fault and does not agree with their slimy business practices. If you want a reliable sales team, service team, or any team, you can keep looking, this den of thieves is not the place to shop around. They will lie and cheat their way into your pocket... I know for the year they have made me and my family suffer as consumers with their bullshit. Don't believe the bull of how Suzanne took hold of this dealership and made it great... Last week I had my 2015 Corvette serviced at Pride Chevrolet on the Lynnway in Lynn where I received excellent service and was treated wonderfully by their Service Advisor Letizia Talluto who kindly greeted me in her office and was very professional throughout my experience there. Omar in the service department called my home to keep me informed on the work progress and approximate cost of the repairs. My car was accurately diagnosed and fixed in a flash. It is now driving like new. I will be returning to Pride Chevrolet from now on and I highly recommend this dealership to everyone . My five star review is well deserved. My husband and I attempted to purchase a car from out of state. We got approved for our loan, paid a deposit, signed the lease, and everything else that needed to be done. When we got feet in Massachusetts my husband tried to call our sales representative, DeAndrae, to confirm the pick up of our vehicle. After he didn't answer the first few phone calls he called the dealership instead and was told that DeAndre was no longer employed there. When he was connected with a different representative he was told the Pride Motor had sold our car to someone else. After all of the work and cooperation that we did, after flights were bought and taken, the car that we had paid for and signed the lease on was no longer in our possession. I've gotten my car serviced here three times in the last few months all for different reasons. The service advisors always go above and beyond to make me feel welcome, understand the issues I'm facing, and explaining the service they're providing. I've worked with Letizia, Rodrigo, and Omar now and they are the best of the best! Besides the great coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks, I know they will not price gauge me and get me out quickly with a safer vehicle. The technicians know what they're doing too. The vehicle does not have to be a Chevy to get quality maintenance and repairs. This was told to me by Letizia when I first came in, which is great information to keep in the back of my mind when recommending them to friends and family. Every now and then I'll see one of the techs talking to the manager or with staff. They always look so busy but remain pleasant. Same goes for the current manager busy but customer-centric and welcoming. Its hard finding a trusted shop and people appreciate the integrity and kindness and so like me they keep coming back. I don't trust just anyone with my beloved high mileage vehicle. I want my baby to last, and this shop helps me keep it running like new. I no longer sweat car issues,10/10 would recommend. The finance manager, Jay Miranda, extorted $1,000 from us!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this dealership! We left a deposit of $1,000 for the car on 11/23 and when we went back to finalize the deal on 11/27 they refused to acknowledge the deposit and demanded we owed them another $1,000! By this point they had taken the trade-in that we drove there in (plates removed and the car was gone). They literally backed us into a corner. Jay Miranda, the finance manger is a SCAM ARTIST!!! Great service department and the technicians fixed the vehicle correctly the first time.

Went for an oil change and waited 3 hours no exaggeration. They never came and informed me that the oil change and tire rotation would take that long. I recently called again and asked if it was normally a 3 hour wait for an oil change and the woman said that is the normal time for that service on my vehicle. I would not recommend going there for a 3 hour oil change and for the price. I have never had to wait 3 hours for an oil before. read more

Speaker is falling off and window doesn't roll up all the way to the rubber and I'm glad I took a closer look. That experience overall was not awesome, however, after speaking with the owner of Pride I have some new reflections. I feel that he was genuinely sorry for the situation and I feel that he will implement steps to stop a future situation like this from arising. So in conclusion, I have change my original 1 star rating to a 4 star rating because I get that sometimes things don't go as planned and people make mistakes. I called and made an appointment with Pride Chevy and told them ALL my recalls so I could bring the car in once to deal with them. It took them 4 HOURS to finish one recall by the time they called me back, and then they tell me they need to order parts for the other three first before doing the repairs. I told the man on the phone - come on - I gave you ALL the information about ALL the recalls in advance when I made the appointment and you still don't have the parts? We bought a used Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid from Pride Chevrolet. I picked the vehicle based on their advertisement at their website (syndicated via edmunds,com). I contacted them around 10AM, and drove the car home by 6PM (only because I could not pick up earlier). The overall experience could not be smoother! I talked to Fanyl first, and confirmed the vehicle with stock# and price (I was paying full cash). We arrived to see the vehicle at noon, and Fanyl handed us over to Kim "the Car lady," who took care of us from then on. Both Fanyl and Kim insisted we drive the car before we buy, even though I was not interested (it was still under manufacturer's warranty). Kim told us the next steps, such as the check and insurance (we had taken that with us), and we went back a few hours later with the check, and they had already done the paper work for us. All we had to do was sign the papers, and take the key. Took about an hour to complete the process including checking the car out, changing plate, etc.). Smooth. Their customer relationship manager was super nice and talked to us while we were waiting. There was a minor issue with some noise. Their service person drove the SUV and told us that the noise would go away in a week, and it completely did. I also got the car checked with my mechanic, and he said it was all fine. We did not have a trade-in, and we did not finance. May be that made the process fast. Yet, we felt they were honest and up front on everything, and very efficient. On 7/2/19 I brought my 2014 Chevy Equinox to the service department due to a thumping noise coming from under the vehicle while driving. I also needed an oil/filter change. We took a test drive and I was told the noice was most likely due to the brakes. After they looked at the car, it was confirmed and was told the brakes w the O/F change would cost about $450-$500. About 15 min later I was told the price would now be between $500-$600 due to the rotors but they would rotate the tires for free. Approximately 4 hours later the car was completed and the bill was $700!!! After some discussion they changed the price to $600. Here's the kicker... THE NOISE WAS STILL THERE WHEN I LEFT THE SERVICE LOT! There was no point in going back, ever. I took it to a local town car repair service. Here was the problem: Melted tar on one of the tires that needed to be removed. Really Pride... you didn't notice when you rotated my tires "for free". Shame on you. Maybe you should change your name to NO-PRIDE. read more

Pride Chevrolet takes pride in taking advantage of customers of who are clearly in a bind and have no choice but to use them for service. Upon returning from a trip recently my vehicle would not start when I attempted to leave Logan Airport. I had no choice but to have my vehicle towed to Pride Chevrolet. After several days of me calling on multiple occasions I finally learned that the truck needed the cap and rotor replaced. The quote I received was $416 for parts and labor. Upon picking up my vehicle and reviewing the invoice the total cost breakdown was $336 for labor and $74 for parts. Since then I have spoke to several mechanics and have done some research and fully realized how much Pride COMPLETELY screwed me over. The part can be found online for $30-50 and the labor could be done easily in 30 minutes or less. Pride claims that it took them THREE hours to perform the labor (at $112 per hour). In short if you are looking to be lied to and want to hand a car dealer sacks of money for terrible service then utilize Pride Chevrolet. There is nothing they like more than a vehicle with out of state plates rolling into their lot that needs to be repaired. Easy money for them. read more

I had an appointment for 1pm to install my roof racks, I arrived at 12:45. The person I schedule with assured me that the installing would be quick. That was absolutely not the case! I waited for a while before I finally approached the service associate. At 2:30pm the Miles the manager told me that it would be quick that they were placing the cargo box on top. I waited another 30 minutes for my car before Miles finally gave me my keys. When I tried to explain my frustration he completely dismissed me and took absolutely no accountability. He did not once apologized to me, he passed the blame to whoever answered the phone. As I walked away I heard him say something snarky. I chose to walk away because I was beyond the point of return. We agreed on a price after considerable negotiations said we would be back in two days with full payment....went back and they jacked the price up another 6,000 dollars. Excuses were the special pricing ran out...should have left a deposit....they never asked for one (I'll share 1/2 the blame for not giving them one to hold the price) If you do agree on a price LEAVE A DEPOSIT...otherwise be ready for a possible price increase with excuses. I bought my Chevy else where and have taken it into Chevy on the Lynnway for a recall. I typically go to the one in Danvers but I figured since I would be in the area I would make an appointment. I am beyond disappointed with this business!!! The worst yet, I have been back 3x do to their service department breaking parts in my car! The first time my lights on my dash did not work and they broke the clips on my panel on the inside. When I went back the second time to get it fixed they then broke the panel and backed up another customer vehicle into my front end resulting in a cracked grill and scratches. No big deal they will fix it I thought. They replaced the grill, upon putting my bumper back on there is now a gap between my lights and bumper as it should be sitting flush. They never fixed the scratches either. So the 3rd time I go back so they could properly line up my bumper/ light because it's not correct!!! They never fixed my front end still! They did however replace my middle console do to the fact that they weren't able to replace the panel properly. With that being said the console wasn't even in properly, hanging off, also the lights to my gears are now not lighting up and I have scratches on my truck! I spoke to a man Joe who claimed to be the owner who was extremely offended that my husband and I were upset about the service. Joe even started to get verbally aggressive and told my husband he isn't the owner of the car so he refuses to speak to him any more! More like he didn't want to hear the customer tell the truth about the horrible work they do! FYI Joe my husband is the owner lol his name is on the title he and I both own the car but that's besides the point just wanted to point out his demeanor. Then Joe began to tell me I was wrong no no no ma'am no one scratched your car. At this point I have spend three 2 hrs trips and still problem after problem. I left a message for the president and got a call back from a Robert the manager. He was to fix this all and call me back no later the 6/19/19!!! I'm 62 years old. I've bought lots of cars. I can't remember a more unpleasant experience. The sad thing is, I'm not sure which was more unpleasant. The sales experience. Or, obtaining warranty service on my vehicle. The sales staff is the most rude and pushy group of car people I have ever met. I knew exactly what I wanted. Their staff knew less about the vehicle line than I did. They tried very hard to sell me a vehicle that wouldn't meet my needs at a ridiculous price. If you have any problems with succumbing to pressure, don't go alone. I had a few warranty issues. The service supervisor was rude, made bogus declarations about the cause of the problems, and insisted that they weren't covered by warranty. They were. In another case, I took the vehicle back for the third time to fix a minor problem. The Sales Manager made arrangements for a rental car (at their expense). The service supervisor argued with the manager in my presence about there being no warranty coverage for the rental. The manager told her they'd pay for it anyway. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the supervisor took it on herself to call Hertz and say Pride wouldn't pay. I got stuck with the charge. If my only choices are buying a car from a Pride dealership or taking public transit, I'll take public transit. read more

My car according to Kelly had a $9700 in fair to good condition and they offered me $5500 with the 130%. My car is in good shape and had other dealers offer me $8500.
