If I could give zero stars, I would. Honda on the Lynnway is dishonest, overpriced, and predatory -- especially toward those who may not have extensive car maintenance knowledge. What makes it worse is the clear pattern of targeting those who are less likely to question them, particularly women. I was treated like I wouldn't understand or challenge the maintenance quotes -- and that's exactly what they counted on. They've not only DOUBLED their maintenance costs in only the last 2 years but tripled the costs in some cases for their parts as well and I'm disgusted they're not only adjusting for inflation but going for a money grab at whatever means possible. Additionally, the wait times are so ridiculous, they kept my car for maintenance for days without telling me and just given a "sorry we haven't finished" excuse. And beyond the dealership's behavior, I've had more recalls on my Honda Insight than should even be legal. For a car that's supposed to be reliable and efficient, the number of factory defects is alarming. I've had my car shut down on me and had the turn signals completely stop working while driving. Between the recalls and the dealership's manipulative service practices, I've completely lost trust in both the brand and this location. This place does not care about integrity or customers -- only profit. I will never return and strongly warn others especially those who are less mechanically experienced. I will be doing my maintenance business anywhere else from now and regret getting my car here. Please avoid this place that feels like hell and go anywhere else. What you'll hear is "Is there anything we can do for you? We will aggressive negotiate the price. We will make a deal for you that you can't refuse." The only thing that was aggressive was their sale tactics. They will say anything to lure you into their web. After hours I decided to go with one of their cars. They ended up giving me about $200 off and saying that that is all they can do for me. I have a newborn at home and don't have the luxury of driving around looking for another car so I went with it. However, Do yourself a favor. Even if you'll end up loving your Honda you'll always remember the moment you got manipulated by some car saleswoman every time you look at your car. read more

I will never buy from this dealership or from the Kelly group ever again. If I could cancel my purchase and get my money back I would. I only purchased from here because they happened to have the exact car I was looking for and inventory has been a problem because of the pandemic. Other dealerships have great pandemic shopping conveniences. This company does not. They don't offer car delivery. You have to go to the dealership to sign paperwork. It's 2020 and I had to sign a carbon-copy contract. The location of this dealership is incredibly inconvenient. I'm only able to get there on the weekends which happens to be when cars are not registered. It's been a week since I've signed the contract and I still do not have my car because it is still not registered. So now I gotta wait another week to pick it up. WORST WORST WORST! BEWARE! DO NOT TOUCH WITH A 10 FOOT POLE! Lets rewind shall we? The year is 2015 and I'm in the market for my first car. Recent graduate and wanted to get myself a 'reliable' vehicle (now I use this term very loosely). Not sure who died and left someone in charge to deem Honda as reliable, but okay... I'm young, I'm naive and I set my little heart for a Honda Accord. I walk in, and maybe this is my fault, I let the receptionist know this will be my first car. (why did I do that? remember I was young!) She assigns me a salesperson, which I have no problem putting on blast, Ryn, and he proceeds to tell me he's also my age. I told him I was a recent graduate and wanted something affordable, reliable, to get me to work and back. NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT: I made it very clear I was not looking to buy today, as I was also considering a Toyota. He says fine. He sits on his computer for half an hour, and seems to only be able to find me one car for my budget. (Which was a little shy less of 20k!)-- If you've gotten this far you know where the discrepancy starts to build. This is a blatant lie, brand new Civics at the time were retailing for 16k. But whatever, I was young, it was my first car. He says the only car within my budget was a 2012 Honda Civic with 37k miles. I said I was open to look at it. (Silly me again, right there I should've walked away). He brings the car out and right away DISCREPANCY AFTER DISCREPANCY. Scratches everywhere! On the door, on the sides, bumper, headlights, everywhere. Clearly an ex-lover's revenge! The car was keyed. I mentioned this to Ryn, and he quickly ushered me in for a test drive. I also noticed the seats had cigarette burns on them, which he replies, 'This car is great on gas'. Completely dismissing every discrepancy with this car. We come back to discuss numbers.. I dont know why because I had NO interest in the car and was still considering a Toyota. Long story short, he, the sales manager, and other colleagues bad mouthed Toyota so bad, they literally scared me into making a deal with them right there and then. Again, I was young and it was my first car! Whatever, I give them my down payment reluctantly, and pick up the car two days afterwards. It wasnt until after I got home, and my parents asked me how much the car cost, where we realize the DAMAGE, DISHONESTY, and ultimately HEIST they pulled. Throughout the entire finance phase, they kept coming in and out scaring me and distracting me from what I was signing... ladies and gentleman, that WORTHLESS, SCRATCHED, CIGARETTE BURNED car was sold UNBEKNOWNST to me for 17k! That car wasn't even worth 9! When we saw that number we were outraged! My parents immediately called back and demanded a full refund, which of course, they got hung up on. Over and over, and when we tried to come in physically, everyone was suddenly busy and unable to speak. Long story short, nothing happened except I got stuck with an overpriced worthless car. I am now tipped over 5k! Parents beware! First buyers beware! Stay away from Ryn. Stay away from this place in general. Beware of that 'We make it easy' slogan... they make it miserable! read more

Strange place. The vibe is all wrong. We were trying to buy a used car. We were tired of the sleaze and uncertainty we were encountering at used car dealerships. So, we decided to pay a premium to get the security of buying a used car from a well established new car dealership. However, the salesperson assigned to us (Julie) clearly didn't understand the car, hadn't read the Carfax report, couldn't explain why the car hadn't been serviced properly, etc. She had vague answers (lies even?) and pushed us really hard. Kelly Honda also doesn't provide the 3 day money back guarantee offered at places like Herb Chambers and Ira...I'd say stay away until they learn that American consumers expect trustworthiness from established car dealers. Creepy note: when I shared our experience with a salesman at another dealership, he immediately guessed that Julie had been our salesperson! i.e, if you have to go to Kelly Honda in Lynn, at least avoid her. read more

If you are interested in purchasing a car from this Lynn location, I would highly advise against working with the car salesman SAMANTHA. Without even knowing our intention she was cold and dismissive as we walked in. We were unfortunately given her as a representative to speak with about refinancing our car (in reference to an ad we had gotten in the mail) and she proceeded to tell us that they are not able to do that there, that it was listed in the mailer only as a tactic to get people in there, and as soon as we stated we just wanted to refinance our car and not purchase a new one and thought it was unfair that we drove far out of our way to come here, she not only did not apologize for the misleading mailer but was short and rude because she knew she was not going to make a sale through us. Extremely poor personal skills and horrible attitude, hopefully she is the exception there and not their standard for those who are looking to buy a vehicle. read more

The worst service. A new battery was purchased here. The mechanic didn't bother to clamp and battery down the bracket was loose and they stuck a screw at the edge of the terminal to tighten down the terminal. Very Poor workmanship here. read more

Total lack of communication, probably down right lying, receptionist disconnected me when I asked for a manager. The worst part is that after all that I have to listen to Brian Kelly's voice on the message service telling me how they "make it easy." Went there for several issues. They explained that is caused by the severity of the cold. Which is fine with me. Car is in great shape.Got an oil change and was to get a car wash. Car was there for over 4 hours. Would you believe my car was still dirty? And would you also believe My car got damaged while on their property. My windshield has a huge crack. Now its costing me hundreds to fix out of pocket. I would never ever bring my SUV back there. I would rather drive to Cambridge Honda or Honda north in Danvers. Then this service attendant had the nerve to tell me the reason they didn't wash my car was because they seen the crack which wasn't written down with the other minor dents on the official receipt. Justin was helpful but that female attendant with the glasses had no clue what she was talking about. She should have kept her mouth shut. Today was indeed awful. Lost a customer for sure. If I could leave 0 stars I would, here's why, I simply went into the dealership to have my rear seats looked at because they are loose and there's something wrong with the back part of the seat, and a key fob replaced. The service advisor literally walked away from me to talk to the service manager and when he came back he said I have to call the warranty company... every dealership I've gone to that's usually the advisors job to call and resolve the issue for the customer but he didn't take me serious at all and said they were backed up and that I need to make an appointment for late next week... this isn't the first time I went into the dealership for an issue and they didn't even look at the car or have time too, and when they do take a look at it they never fix the main issue I came in for. I've spent countless wasted days tryind to get my car serviced but they never do anything correctly. Here's an example of when I actually got my car in because I was paying... Recently I had an alignment done on the car and as soon as I got on the highway (middle lane no road crown) the car pulled to the left... every since I bought my car in 2016 I've had nothing bad bad experiences with this dealership I will never buy another car from here or recommend any of the Kelly dealers. I guess the next step is to contact Honda Corporate and switch dealerships because I've herd Honda North is night and day compared to this place. read more

This is our first Honda and we endorse the Honda Pilot completely. But if I had known in advance the hassle and aggravation Kelly would put me through I would have passed on the Pilot. The finance office that scribbles all the stuff with a black majic marker on the back of the customer information sheet, needs a class on customer service. We got half what our trade was worth and paid too much for the Pilot. I will spare you the amount we paid because when I see that number I get angry. Telephone calls go unanswered and a complete and total lack of respect for the customer is the standard operation there as nothing and I mean nothing I was told came to pass and our salesman if you want to call him that still wont answer my call a week after the car was delivered. I wanted to be close to the dealer and that is why I went to kelly honda but dont you make the same mistake. Go to a dealer that wants to earn business and understands the need to keep you as a customer because kelly or at least the salesman I had did not. read more
