I have been going to this office for over ten years now and from the ladies at the front desk to the hygienists to the dental assistants to the dentists, everyone is a top notch person and professional. You are always greeted with friendly smiles and made to feel comfortable and welcome. I've had several different procedures over the years and always had a great experience with quality work. Never felt pain of any kind. They do not use the highly toxic mercury amalgams to fill your teeth, in fact they advise to remove it as it can cause many health issues. My husband recently had all the mercury amalgam fillings removed from his teeth by Dr. Attar and said he did an excellent job. You never have to worry because they take all the precautions necessary to make sure you are safe. My husband said he didn't feel a thing, including the shots to numb. He was starting to feel the effects of the mercury because of a cracked tooth, but now feels much better since the removal. Later he said, "I trust them." My sentiments exactly! If it were possible to do a 100 star I would!! This is no exaggeration. I will be moving to another state in December and I WILL fly back for my dental appointments, no doubt! I am over 50 years old and have gone to a dentist since I was a small child. I have had many cavities, and my mouth ended up being filled with so much mercury. As I grew older I wanted to keep my teeth as healthy as I could so I would go every 6 months for cleanings. I always had so much anxiety when I went, never felt very comfortable. I eventually ended up in Texas and for the first time I went 2 years without finding a dentist. I was just too nervous. I was concerned about all the mercury in my mouth as well. Pride Dental is amazing! While I never have been a big fan of going to the dentist, Pride Dental alleviated all my fears. I really am impressed with the staff and their knowledge of holistic dental practices. I had my amalgam fillings replaced and they used equipment that protects the staff as well as the patient from inhaling mercury during the process. I have also had crowns replaced and a tooth extracted. They use water with no fluoride, rinse with chlorella, have digital x-rays and use only non toxic, natural products. Due to a life threatening illness, I have learned how important to is it to stay away from all chemicals and toxins, so this is the place for me! The staff is never in a rush and I always feel like they take the time to really listen to me. It starts right in the front office. Your appointment is referred to as a reservation. The reception area (I don't want to call it a waiting room because I have seldom had to wait) is relaxing and has a feeling of serenity. Finding Dr. Attar and Pride Dental was the highlight of our nine month stay in Texas. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful, from the receptionist, Seraphina, to the dental hygienist, Lexi. The first time I called the office, Seraphina took the time to explain the philosophy behind Pride Dental and their holistic approach to dentistry. You are greeted warmly both over the phone and in person and this really puts you at ease if you are at all worried about your impending visit. But you don't have to worry, Dr. Attar makes sure you are completely comfortable before and during your visit. He patiently answered all my questions and was so careful, experienced and professional I actually looked forward to my appointments. What really impressed me was that Dr. Attar explained that if I needed a root canal he would refer me to a specialist rather than doing it himself. In my experience, dentists tend to multitask and this is a disadvantage to the patient because you won't be receiving the best treatment from the most qualified practitioner. Pride Dental offered us exactly what we needed and wanted: a family friendly and welcoming environment that is patient-centered, holistic and environmentally conscious (read: non-toxic). Been going here for years! They treat you like family and do what's best FOR YOU. They respect me, care for my health, and find options that work best for me! They don't try to force fillings at me for every small issue and want to help fix the root cause of the problem for long term care. I don't have to worry when I visit them because I know I'm truly taken care of. The staff at Pride Dental are friendly, happy, and knowledgeable. Dr. Attar has a great bedside manner and is concerned with patient comfort at all time. He wants to ensure a good, pain-free experience. The teeth cleaning here is gentle and leaves your teeth feeling extremely smooth. I like that they don't push root canals or fluoride on you, but care about the total health of the patient. Dr. Sprinkle did a tongue-tie release on me and my daughter and it was a good experience. I am so thankful for this place. I don't generally like going to the dentist because what they have to say and how they make me feel is discouraging.
