I came to wash my clothes today. I had a load of white clothes which I loaded in their new top loaders, it charged me 50 cents more for hot water. I kept checking the water and it was super cold, therefore my bleach tablets couldn't work at their full capacity causing me to have to rewash my clothes. When I brought this up to the attendant, Erica ( if that's even her name), she gave me 50 cents "for the hot water" and I told her well my clothes didn't get washed correctly bc the bleach didn't work and I have to rewash it and she said "that's not my problem" with the biggest attitude. I've never been to a laundromat that does not offer the full amount refund for a mistake on their machines behalf. I asked for the managers number, "she doesn't know it". Vienen a lavar my ropa, y separe mi ropa blanca para lavarle en las nuevas lavadoras de una/dos cargas. Me cobró 50 centavos más por agua caliente. My dad just had what appears to be a common experience here with the unbelievably unpleasant attendant. If she isn't the owner, she obviously needs to be fired. He put $3 worth of quarters in a dryer that had some kind of issue. One attendant left at 5:15 and left a sign that said "back at 5:30." When the next woman showed up at 5:50, my dad asked for help and she immediately said "don't talk to me I have to do other things first." When she eventually let him speak to her, he told her about the machine and her response was "did anyone SEE you put money in the machine?" As if this is some kind of scam my 67 year old father runs around town to scam laundromats out of $3 at a time. She then became confrontational with him and gave him his $3 back but blamed him for using a broken machine. He put $2 into another machine that also turned out to be broken at which point, he just gave up and left. Look, it's a laundromat...you don't expect Chick-Fil-A customer service but this is a bit much lol. read more

Got there at 8:50 I left my laundry inside and turned $20 worth of quarters and went to the gas station which is right next to it because I needed soap (their machine was broken) when I came back the lady didn't let me go in because the last load has to be done at 9:00 but it was 8:55 by then. I told her that all my stuff was inside and that I already have everything that I need. She still didn't let me go in and wash. This is a place I go to about four times a week for my fresh alkaline bottled water they're normally very rude speak to you in a language that you can understand refuse to speak English to you so I don't engage again I go simply for my fresh alkaline water so today I had a bunch of change and I need a solid quarters she told me she was not able to assist me now remember we're also at the laundromat that if somebody needed to wash clothes she was giving them quarters the machine is inside the laundry I just can't believe in 2021 that this is happening but the rule of thumb is mean people do mean things is that people try to make other people sad so I'm going to sign off by saying bless her heart and soften her world so maybe she won't be so rude to the next person of color cuz I'm a first responder and I may have to save her life read more

When I came in there was a woman putting her clothes in the dryer my clothes were in. I asked her if she took my clothes out, but the attendant standing next to her defensively snapped at me saying "I took it out! It's over there!". I was confused. I felt ambushed, like she was waiting for me to yell at me. I asked why she touched my clothes. She told me I can't leave my clothes. She said I was gone for 10 minutes after the clothes were dry. I said I wasn't gone for 10 minutes. She changed the time and said I was gone for 30 minutes. I said no, just looked at her and said this is trash I'm not coming back here. She say ok with a smile. No professionalism at all. This is not how customers are to be treated. No apology. No polite explanation. Just barbaric ignorance. My clothes were put in a cart on the opposite side of the laundromat from the dryer it was in. It wasn't even near the area I would think to look. No common sense. There were other available dryers to use. That person didn't need to ask the attendant to remove my clothes, and that attendant didn't need to comply to that idiotic request. We are still in a pandemic. I washed a few of my masks that she now put her hands on. I will have to wash them again. She cost me money, and mental anguish. She cost the owner money too, because they lost a long time customer. I was putting my clothes away in my bags to leave as soon as possible, and she asked me if the other clothes that were in other machines that were just sitting there were mine. I said no. Then she asked me again in a slow psychotic, mocking way. She was trying to provoke me. I just looked at her and shook my head. She didn't take anyone else's clothes out. She singled me out, and treated me differently from other customers. This is discrimination. This was my day off. I thought I could recharge, and do some simple cleaning. But no, I walked into this place and got abused. Everything this attendant did was in the intent to be rude and hateful towards me. Zero stars is the accurate rating. read more

This is hands down one of, if not the absolute best, laundry facility in Imperial Beach. The facility is squeeky clean, which is a HUGE plus in my book. They have a lot of good machines that are new and kept in good working order. They even have a water filling station for your water bottles, which makes this place multifaceted to boot. There are several televisions that are tuned into different stations so you get a variety of things to watch (both English and Spanish). The channels are even preset to popular local channels, and if you want them changed, they'll accommodate your request. The Wi-Fi connection is free and the password never changes, so you don't have to ask more than once if you are a repeat customer (other places constantly change theirs so you always have to ask). The connection is solid and they even have a little nook that allows you to plug in a laptop and sit on a stool with a table to work on. How sweet is that?!?!?! The staff is friendly, and they speak to you (I said "Good morning" and she said "Good morning" back, she even asked how I was doing - basic human kindness goes a long way these days) and are quite attentive. We had a small issue with one of the dryers today and the staff member (Maria) was on top of it like white on rice. She assessed the problem, which was the dryer not warming up after several minutes and immediately marked the dryer as "Out of Service". She then gave us credit on another machine and even tested it with an additional quarter to make sure it worked. Maria even gave us a couple of helpful tips about the washers and the dryers to help us make sure there isn't an incident with gum or candy that may have been leftover from a previous load. MARIA IS FANTASTIC!!!!! If you're needing to get your laundry done and you want a top notch facility with great staff and good Wi-Fi, go here for sure. read more

First of all this review is for the one on San Ysidro Blvd. But for some reason it won't show up here on Yelp. They need to get rid of the old mean angry lady that works there, she's always angry & mean to customers. She doesn't like to give change if you give her a few pennies. She's always closing the front doors way to early, she won't let you use one side because she said she clean it when there's still like 2 hours to close. She's always yelling at kids that are not even bothering nobody. If there's a washer that has finished & there's still clothes in it she won't take them out even if it has been more than 15 minutes, she won't ask if it belongs to somebody, so you just have to wait for that person to take it out. Plus she's always taking long bathroom breaks, like about 20 minutes or more, which means that if you change or help she's not there to help you. The only reason I come here is because it's about 1 block from where I live. I try to come the days she's not here. To the owners of this place I ask you to please get rid of her or you will lose more customers. read more

Two big issues here I just went through that warranted a bad review 1) there is always someone using ALL the single load dryers. Always. 2) when I used the restroom, someone kept knocking and I kept yelling "occupied". Eventually one of the employees opened the bathroom but luckily I was washing my hands. She wasn't deaf because she heard me explain why i couldn't turn the "vacant" knob. I wasn't even in there more than 3 minutes. The washers left the clothes real wet. And it took forever to dry them. It took like 3 hour to do 4 loads of laundry.

Not my first choice to come here. Usually go super early to the spin cycle in Chula Vista. But I had a day off and came here. I've been coming here on and off for the past few months. My experience here is a good one. Lots of machines, televisions & free wifi. Overall this place is clean and plenty of folding tables to go round. Not much to give feedback on. That's my take on here parking is kinda tight and small lot. There more round back and oh the machines are state of the art new. Ranges from top double loads to the 8 front load washers. I come here every week to do my laundry usually on the weekend...it's very clean the morning attendant is very friendly and very helpful...the customer service here is excellent compared to other laundromats in the area I used before this one...I highly recommend doing your clothes here and the prices r good and if u can manage to get here during the week they have great week day specials oh yea free WiFi and clean bathrooms....great place read more

I absolutely love the quality of the washers and dryers here, I really hope they get more single loaders. The ONLY reason why I'm giving them a 4 star review is because I've complained to the owner before about cockroaches on the folding tables and I hadn't seen any in a while.. Up until today when one almost fell inside the washer while I was pouring in fabric softener!!! I was absolutely horrified of how big it was! I cannot risk taking those disgusting bugs home eew! This is one of the best laundry mats in IB. Good prices on large washers. They also have a water station to fill up your gallons of water. This place is the cleanest I have seen. When something doesn't work or is broken, the employees are on top of it. Maria is an amazing employee. She's very friendly and is always here when u need help with something. They have 3 tvs and all are on a different channel. One always Spanish. I like the diversity in here. They have a snack machine, and a soap machine with variety of soaps. I rarely go to a public laundromat, but if I do... it is Prima Coin Laundry. It is very clean, with lots of machines of all sizes. There is plenty of room to move around, too... so even when it is busy, it is convenient. My boyfriend likes the water-filling machines, which he uses while he is doing his laundry. read more
