Got here a lil before sunrise- and was able to snag a parking spot right at the laundromat curb. Construction is just about done at the Jack in the Box next door. I would give this place 5 stars, but because 2 female workers discriminate against me, I give it 2 stars. I come here to this laundry mat practically every single day, several times a day to play this quarter machine that they have. You can say, and even the other workers, and regular customers who washes there, they all know me by now, and even became friends with some of them. Anyways, I went in there to play their machine and asked the female worker who doesn't like me for some reason all of a sudden made up her own rule and says I can't use their bathroom, WTH! Since when? I never had a problem using their bathroom before. The worker says that I have to be doing laundry there in order to use their bathroom. WTH, if anything, I give them business by emptying my pockets worth almost $50 per day playing their quarter machine!! Only one lady with whom I interact with and is very polite and I don't even know her name but she mostly works in the mornings and wears glasses and thin build. She is always working hard, non stop. I drive from poway to do my laundry here because the laundry at is well maintained and the employees are consistently sweeping the floors and helping people. I've also used the laundry service they offer as well and had 3 baskets of clothes washed and folded very neatly for $60 a few months ago. I liked this laundry Matt. I needed to do laundry and rather use quarters than using a card. We got here early and there's hardly anyone inside. It was clean and it cost me $4.25 for a mid sized washer and around $1.75 for a dryer. Not bad. They serve coffee in the morning. I think I plan on coming here instead. There's soda and candy machine. There's two flat screen television inside. I liked that. Something to watch while my daughter and I wait. There's benches along the entrance. The only negative would be the parking here. Very limited but if you get here early, there's a few front stalls in front. read more

Without a doubt, the best place to do laundry. The staff is very friendly and the building is super clean. I'll start with the staff. Like I said, they are very friendly. If they see you without a cart, I've seen them bring one out to people. They are very polite and personable. I see them cleaning all day and I can tell they take pride in their work. The building is super clean inside and out. The folding tables are virtually dust free and the machines have never messed up my clothes, unlike other places around National City. The best part is that they're open early and close late. Come in on a Tuesday or Thursday, they give out free soap! read more

I'm a new resident to San Diego; only been out here for 6 months. I needed to find a clean, nice, good priced, laundry mat in a decent area. I washed at different laundry mats in N and S of San Diego and ultimately chose Laundry Lounge; for the reasons I mentioned above; as well as, for the exceptional service and friendless I received from 2 of the staff. From the first moment I walked in, Brenda and Cristina greeted and welcomed me. They both have been so amazing, helpful and friendly. They've made my trips to the laundry mat less of a stress. I want to thank and address them both...Brenda always wonderful to talk too and so helpful. I also would like to thank Cristina for always being so kind and assisting me with getting to know San Diego. Thank you Cristina for being so pleasant and thoughtful! Sunday @ 1:20pm I had bunch of loads to do and wasn't in the mood to wash clothes all week so I decided since this place was down the street I'd go and check them out. Pros: Clean LOTS machines Snack machine Drink machine Detergent & Fabric Softner machine Cons: No AC (not a big deal but it can get stuffy) Parking can be backed up cause it's a busy lot Prices: Small Machines $2 3 Load: $3.25 4 Load: $4.25 6 Load: $5.75 8 Load: $7.25 Dryers: .25c I don't know how that compares to the other laundry mat places around but for the convenience and time saved, it was worth it for me. Washing time is about 25 mins on the "warm" setting. I'm sure it'll be longer if you pick the extra wash and extra rinse option. Machines looked new and staff (lady) was really nice and constantly cleaning. You have 5 benches to sit on inside and a few TVs to watch. They have free wifi so that was nice for my son cause he could play with his iPad there are 2 long tables on each side next to the dryers to fold and sort clothes which I thought was convenient but sucked because people left their stuff up there and didn't bother moving it to make room for others. This is my wife's favorite place to do laundry for a couple of years now, but every time she comes home, she complains how difficult it is to move around as there are no available carts for the laundry. So, I decided to go with her to help her out, and it is just frustrating finding a cart to do the laundry. The washers and dryers are ok and works great, but that is the easy part. The hard part is moving your laundry from washer to dryer or bringing them back to your car, and to make matters worse, there is no cart available. Well, there are carts, but only good for 1/4 of the customers, the 3/4 are left without a cart. If you have only very few loads to wash that you can carry with 2 hands, then this laundry mat is great, but if you have several loads that you can't carry, you better look somewhere else with available carts. read more

It say that there last load is 10:30pm but they closes earlier than what they post in there Bussiness hours. Bussiness hour states Monday to Sunday 8am to midnight and last load is 10:30p. But if you arrive at 9:45pm. Certain staff will tell you that there close. I wish owner check on there attendant turning away people that need to do laundry. I witness multiple people that was turn away. One thing I can say there laundry mat is definitely clean. Just come early so you don't get turn away. read more

Very nice and clean in this place :) prices are a bit expensive but I get it, new machines. This place has changed over the years and the machines look so good lol. Currently sitting down waiting for my laundry and the attendant is definitely doing his job cleaning and taking out the trash. I don't like using the new laundry cards. This is not a problem with the Laundry Lounge. Quarters on the machines. The also have machines to make change. I didn't want to put a $20 but no problem because the attendant-Fermin-gave me change for it. But I have to give Fermin many props for the fantastic job he does as attendant. This laundry place was THE cleanest place I've ever been to. The floors, the machines, THE BATHROOM! was spotless! I dropped a pillow case taking it out of the dryer and wasn't even tripping on it because the floor was clean as can be! The whole time I was there he was cleaning the place and helping anyone who needed it. This is my go to for laundry places! They have vending machines and machines with supplies. They have the California scratchers machine too, and the Hotspot Bullseye game too. You can get your Fantasy 5 Powerball etc on the machine next to the scratchers. TV's and wi-fi. It's next to Jack in the box so if the drive-thru gets crowded the cars back up in the space for the laundry customer parking. On certain days they do the free soap and coffee etc. Love this place and Fermin is a great worker! read more

This laundry mat has a folding table which apparently if you set you basket on and leave means you reserved the 3 feet past for the next 40 min while you wait outside for your clothes to dry. Women caused a huge seen because I was folding my cloths next the her basket, her clothes were not even out of the dryer yet. When I got the attendant involved he tried to defuse the situation by asking me to move... normally I would take the high road but not this time I've had a shit week and I just couldn't. My prize for standing my ground?. I got to listen to this women loudly call me all sorts of nasty names while I folded my clothes, mind you I was done before her clothes were dried. I wish I didn't have to write this review because aside for the one women the place was great, but I will never go back. Didn't feel comfortable after the experience I received today . Very rude people that arrive to this establishment . There was a man that parked next to me and slammed his car door into my car, while I was in the car. My car was well parked and he parked in the handicap space where he clearly couldn't park . He started cursing at me infront of his child , i cant believe there is still people like him around ; people are stereotypical because of people like him . There should be security outside asap .
