Best "fino" (draft) and picadinho in town! Trust me! Very good local Portuguese Spot!

Been to this place thousands of time Great staff very friendly. Owner is very nice and always goes around greeting people. Having an outdoor patio is great to watch soccer there. If your a soccer fan this is the place to visit. Food is great and love the Caldo Verde soup they make on the weekends. My kids love this place soooo much that they can't wait for the dessert. And the suckling pig is tremendous as well. Usually sells out fast for the holidays so get your orders in early.

Primabel que bella. What a find. This place is outstanding everything is delicious. We had appetizers starting with mussels with green sauce, clams with bacon in red sauce, octopus salad & picanha. For dessert flan, & creme brulee. Whaaaaat. Did I say outstanding.

Ate here with a group co-workers (total of 8 people) after work on a Tuesday evening. It had a casual atmosphere. The food was excellent starting from the appetizers all the way down to the dessert! The calamari and the shrimp during the appetizer was on point. The sauce on the shrimp was great dipping for the bread. For the Entree the seafood pasta was fresh and a generous serving portion for 5-6 people alone in 1 serving. We also had the picadinho, which was my favorite- excellent... not too greasy! And had a good portion of salad with steak. Then we each had a serving of different desserts that we shared- flan, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, cheesecake, and some pudding. All were delicious but my favorite were the flan and chocolate mousse. As for the drinks, we had a 2 pitchers of the red sangria and my friends had their beer from tap from their little waterfall grotto... it was so cool! We were all seated in the patio at the back of the restaurant which had a great breeze from outside on a nice summer temperature... our day happened to be rainy which was relaxing to see and hear from where we were seated. All in all the service was prompt and excellent from our waitress Rose. The owner happen to be in there during our visit and was very friendly and accomodating. And if you're in doubt just for the parking alone, there's a private parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Would reccomend this place and would come back again with family and friends!

There was no way for me to make a reservation online so I took my chance. I was there with two other people and we were lucky to get enough to get there when we did. The place started to get packed quickly. We got a table on the top floor (there is a bottom floor). Our waitress/bartender CiCi was great. She was busy but still attentive. We got Louie Char Grilled Oysters, thai chili wings Catfish nuggets, fries and burger with fries. For drinks, we got blueberry lemon drop martini and margaritas. Both drinks were tad a bit too tart and not strong enough. Our food was delicious. Though I wish the fries were shoestrings fries and it they had a parmesean truffle option. This visit was for Saturday lunch which has brunch dishes and some limited lunch menu items. The " bluefin tuna" appetizer was really well presented with avocado, thinly sliced cucumbers with the tuna served over the fried rice. The beef carpaccio was also very good served over a potato. Our waiter was a Jordanian gentlemen. He was excellent. It was a highlight to have a pleasant, polite, respectful, professional! The lunch was good. The shoestring fired potato's were amazing. The scallop and truffle appetizer was like nothing I've ever had before. The oxtail and egg, although listed as an appetizer, could be a meal unto itself, a rich blend of deep flavors that meld perfectly in your mouth. The halibut was presented beautifully and presented a mix of flavors and textures that was just fantastic. Dessert is another stand out experience, the chocolate cake with nuts is epic. In an area already full of great dining experiences, 87 Sussex is a cut above the rest and really not to be missed.

I ordered the Crushed Avocado Toast (without the yogurt) with a Peach Limonata. The avocado toast was good, but could've had more avocado. It was still tasty. You don't have to wait for a waiter/waitress to come by and all that. The food is an interesting interpretation of mediterranean style. I got a schwarma wrap that was pretty decent. It's not the best food I've ever had but it tasted pretty good and was a much-needed meal before a long international flight. I will say the workers gave me a weird vibe which made the whole experience much less great. They would come by occasionally to fill up my water or check in, which is great. But a few of them were standing in the corner of the bar (which is in the middle of the restaurant and I was sitting at the bar) and they were complaining, very indiscreetly, about work and some other management at the airport. Now, I understand there are things that aren't great at every job and I don't mind people ranting about it, but there's a time and place. They could've and should've had that conversation in a more private area instead of out where all the customers were. And they were sitting there complaining instead of actually working, which says a lot about them too. Was just not impressed by this and wouldn't come back due to the whole experience.

Luckily I found Hobby's Delicatessen via Find Me Gluten Free and was so glad to find that they do legitimate gluten-free options with a dedicated fryer and prep space to prevent cross contamination. I had the gluten-free pastrami wrap with fries for $23.95 and my husband had the #5 pastrami and corned beef with coleslaw and Russian dressing for $25.95. he also got the drip coffee with free refills for $3.25. Service was amazing. Owner's came out and chatted with us and preemptively made sure that I was aware that my food was safe for me to consume. Our waitress was incredibly personable and sweet. There were free pickles on the table. I'm not even a pickle person but I had three because again, I've been dying for vegetables after being in Europe. Great portions, safe celiac options, personable service, refillable drinks and no charge to use the toilets (although I didn't need to use them during this visit) This is what makes American restaurants great and Hobby's ticks all of those boxes.
