Extremely Disappointed With Billing Negligence and Lack of Accountability…read more I visited Bayside Urgent Care and clearly informed the receptionist--three times--before receiving any services that I needed to make sure my insurance would cover everything. I was assured and proceeded based on that understanding. The doctor recommended a lab test "just in case," and I followed his medical advice. At no point did anyone warn me that the lab they would send my sample to was out-of-network. A few weeks later, I received a huge bill from an outside lab that does NOT accept my insurance. I called Bayside Urgent Care immediately to understand why my labs were sent to an unauthorized office when I had explicitly stated multiple times to verify insurance coverage. The receptionist was dismissive, unhelpful, and simply told me: "You received the bill, so it's your responsibility. Talk to the lab." No concern, no accountability, no explanation. To make things worse, when my insurance agent contacted Bayside Urgent Care today, the office suddenly changed their story, claiming they had sent my labs to a different facility that does accept my insurance. Meanwhile, I continue to receive large bills from the out-of-network lab, and Bayside Urgent Care refuses to assist or correct the issue. This has been stressful, misleading, and completely avoidable had the staff simply honored my repeated requests to verify insurance coverage. Their inconsistent statements and lack of responsibility are unacceptable. I do not recommend this urgent care to anyone who values transparency, proper billing practices, or respectful customer service.

Tip # 2: This facility does NOT have x-ray equipment. If you think you might need an x-ray, go to the facility on S. Belcher Rd. in Clearwater instead. They will send you there from Largo to get an x-ray anyway, so save a trip to a 2nd facility on the same day.

I was advised by my OB/GYN to seek care at the ER or Urgent Care. During my visit, Dr. Yeager asked whether I was having a boy or a girl. I explained that I did not yet know and would be finding out this weekend. He then stated that with "all these moms taking medications," by the year 2035 all boys will be on the spectrum. I found this remark to be inappropriate, insensitive, and unprofessional. It was unrelated to my medical care and made me feel uncomfortable during an already vulnerable time. Additionally, the comment made me feel as though I was wrong for seeking care, despite following my OB/GYN's instructions to go to the ER or Urgent Care. No patient should feel judged for seeking medical attention when advised to do so. I also did not feel that my symptoms or concerns were taken seriously. Compassionate bedside manner and respectful communication are especially important during pregnancy, and I did not feel that standard was met during this visit. I have always trusted BayCare Health System for my healthcare needs and have consistently had positive experiences. Unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect the level of professionalism and patient-centered care I have come to expect. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed to ensure that future patients receive respectful and appropriate care. Victoria P

My favorites are the two PAs; Jodi and the other provider whose name I unfortunately can't remember. They have taken care of my entire family with such genuine kindness, and you can truly tell they care about their patients. Today we visited the new Palm Harbor location, where Jodi took excellent care of my mom. She is professional, attentive, and takes the time to listen. She explains everything clearly and thoroughly, making you feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Our entire family has been coming to StadMed for years, and every visit has been a positive experience. They make us feel like more than just patients. they make us feel like family. I highly recommend StadMed to anyone looking for an urgent care that truly puts patients first. They deserve 100% of our recommendation!

I suffer from a sprained wrist and went to two other Urgent cares in the area, but none is even close to STATMED at Countryside Mall. Not only were they able to see me in a timely manner but they were able to do X-Rays on site (on a Sunday!) and provide a prescription to help with the pain. Thank you Rachel and Jennifer and everyone else who helped. In addition, they recommended that I see an Orthopedic doctor and gave me the name of one that took me on short notice, because I was referred by STATMED. If you need help, don't hesitate to use this wonderful facility.

Both Dr. Murray and Margie treat us like family, and we are so grateful to have them guiding our health. Unfortunately, I ended up having a pretty severe allergic reaction to the oak pollen and found myself unable to breathe, with extremely severe congestion and my throat basically closing up anytime I tried to eat. I visited the Pasadena Urgent Care at 7217 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach, FL, where I saw Dr. Michael E. Murray. It was a few hours away from the time my flight back to Texas was scheduled, and Dr. Murray did a phenomenal job of quickly diagnosing me and sending my prescriptions to a local Publix that was on my route to the airport. They were out of injectable steroids in the office, so I was prescribed three meds. Diagnosis was quick, but I already knew what it was, so I appreciated how efficiently this office operated to ensure I was able to make my flight. I was absolutely miserable on my flight home, but after 24 hours on the meds, I'm already feeling remarkably better. They asked that I call in a few days to let them know how I'm feeling, and it really did seem like they genuinely were invested in me feeling better. Thank you so much! One thing to note - they do not accept insurance so you will need to separately submit. I paid $150 out of pocket, but they gave me all the paper to send to my insurance for reimbursement.
