Went there last night ...had two mixed drinks and Calamari and Octopus appetizers. Had the scallops and wife had the sea bass. Finished it off with sharing crème brûlée. Everything was absolutely perfect and spot on. This is definitely a diamond in the rough. A hidden gem. The inside looks greats!! Exactly how the pictures are. They have outside dinning as well. Nice wine list. Bar service was good with our cocktails. Service - staff was attentive and delivery on time. The food was amazing. The menu is extensive where you will find something if interest to you. Rack of lamb and surf n turf were great. The Lemmon chicken was delicious as well. Management took over recently, but are seasoned. We are making this one of our go too spots. I normally wouldn't do this but this was a lot of money for a meal that was basically tossed. I did not have an enjoyable time. First off, before I was even sitting down I was asked if I wanted red or white wine or a cocktail, and then was told of a few cocktails that they can make. I am not even sitting down yet. I ask about mocktails (I don't drink alcohol), am shown three. Two of which are mules. They are $12 (slightly cheaper than their boozy brothers). I pass. I explained I was really in the mood for a burger. They have two options. $18 or $20 (or similar). I had a question about an appetizer and I was not answered but told that they have some "beautiful dry aged ....." I looked him dead in the eye and said "I came for a burger". I was already more than annoyed. Figured a burger (even a $20 one), an app and a soda would be a nice under $40 dinner. I cut my burger, it's presented nicely. Nice big thick slice of a jersey tomato, nice slices of non iceberg lettuce. It looks great. I cut it and look for ketchup, not to be found. My waiter was also not to be found. Plus apparently I was invisible because other servers and workers looked at me, not eating my meal, looking for help, and being ignored. Oh, I was one of FOUR customers btw. I counted 3 buss boys, three servers, two owners, and a family member. Not one cared. Eventually my server came over and asked how my burger was, not asking why I haven't taken a bite, I just quietly asked for ketchup and a refill on my tonic water. They offer refills on sodas and iced tea, but my tonic water (a soda) and lime is NOT considered a refillable drink. So I paid for another $4 and got one with a slice of lemon. At this point, it's clearly obvious that because I A) was alone, B) sat at the bar, C) only ordered a burger and no alcohol, that I was not important enough to check on. I was already annoyed but decided to eat my meal. Pros: it was still hot Not ONE flake of seasoning. It was just a patty cooked on a grill. No salt. No pepper. No nothing. All in all my tab was $51. I reheated my burger the next night and added seasoning to it and it was still just inedible so in the trash it went. This is a shame because this was the restaurant me and my parents had our last holiday meal together. I was feeling sad, and hungry, so I went to a place I had a nice memory of. Shame. Went for happy hour. Interesting location out in the middle of nowhere. Four stars for the food and drinks. Things were a bit pricey, but the quality was great. The drinks were strong and tasty. The espresso martini was an extra +$2 up charge, but they were very well prepared. Here's where I'll dock a few stars and honestly, if the food was not as good I would've made it one star. The bartender was a bit cold in the beginning and we did not feel welcome. When at first we thought we only wanted drinks she insisted the food was a good deal. She also made it very clear that only fruit martinis were part of the happy hour, but we were happy to pay an up charge for espresso martinis. What didn't sit well with me was that I brought my little toiletries bag to take to the restroom since it was my time of the month and it's obviously I needed to urgently use the restroom. For some reason, the downstairs restroom was locked, and the light was out, and even the bartender had questioned me when I mentioned that it was locked, but she insisted that someone was probably in there. It may have been the owner or the restaurant manager, but he abruptly stopped me from using the upstairs restroom when the bartender had told me that there is an another restroom upstairs. I mentioned the bartender told me to use it. The overall service just felt very awkward and cold throughout our whole evening. I didn't feel welcomed. Would I come back? Maybe. But they need to work on customer service. My husband thought because we were wearing hats they treated us differently but we were the only customers and three more people joined us at the bar. read more

Went with my wife recently for our anniversary. Started with Fried Calamari and Lobster Bisque both delicious. For entree had Filet Mignon and Crusted Chiklean Seabass out of this world. Also tried homemade Creme Brulee and Lava Cake, very fresh and delicious. Outstanding service by friendly and professional staff and and you got to see the place to feel the ambiance. Ambiance 4 stars. Sat at the bar waiting for our table. Bartender 0 Stars. Not welcoming and has major attitude. We had to go ask the manager for our waiter after sitting at our table for at least 15-20 min. Waiter finally came with bread and water. He would only take our drink and appetizer order. Finally got the appetizer. Again, had to get up and ask the manager where our dinner was since we were now getting tipsy. After almost an 2 hrs of being at the restaurant we finally got our dinner. Fish on the plate was severed with extremely salty spinach and nothing more. Plain and unappealing and tasteless (except for the salt) 2hrs 45 min is unacceptable to be sitting at a restaurant only to be disappointed and pay a lot of money for not so good food. We were told at the that the chef had an emergency and left and our waiter was cooking our dinner. Will not be returning read more

We have been eating here for years when restaurant was called Momentos. Now new owner Benny and staff are here doing wonderful job! The cocktails, food, and ambience are all top notch and upscale. They now offer Happy hour drink and appetizer specials at bar ( I recommend the martinis) and also an Early bird Price Fix menu during week. You wont be disappointed! read more

Lamb chops were great. And great ambience with large windows looking at forested mountain. Definitely a A+ go-to restaurant.

This is the third time we waited over 2 hours for our food which came out looking sad and under prepared. A cold steak thrown sloppy on a plate. No one there seems to notice or care about it either. This is the by far worst steakhouse in the world. Had high hopes going in but quickly destroyed. Service was mediocre to poor. Ordered drink took significantly long time (15 minutes) to get to table while bar tender had conversations with people at the bar rather than making drink. Martini arrived and was watered down. Since this is a steak house I ordered the steak as did 5 other members of my party of 8. 4 steaks came out at same time and mine came out 5-10 minutes later, no explanation. When I cut into the steak the inner portion was frozen. Yes frozen, ice. They obviously forgot to make my steak pulled one of the freezer, maybe microwaved for a bit, then cooked. Served with center frozen. I sent back, took a long time as my party was pretty much finished with their dinner before my returned. I figured they were making me a new steak. No, returned same steak, heated, most likely microwave again and brought out. No concern from chef, waitress, or manager. No apologies. This place is disgusting. If you go there and think its good you need to visit real steak house. As a reference outback steak house is 10x better than this place and outback is a low end chain. Do not waste your money as they charge steep Manhattan prices for a badly cooked steak. Not to mention the steak comes on a giant plate with nothing else. There is absolutely no presentation. The owners of this restaurant should consider another line of business. Maybe cleaning gutters or ditch working. read more
