    Creamed Spinach and mushrooms

We came for Prime Rib night and were not disappointed. It was excellent. Served with creamed spinach and mushrooms. Exactly what i would have ordered had it not been included. As good as the food was, the service was even better. From Paige who could not have been sweeter or more helpful to Nick the GM who was so helpful with a beer selection and even followed us to the door to thank us for coming in. Such a nice place. Highly recommended!

We were planning to have a birthday dinner at other restaurant in downtown Nashville but the GPS said it would take us 2 hours to get there. Well, we changed our plan! We've dined in most of the restaurants in Columbia already. Why not trying a brand new restaurant. We ordered Beef bone marrow and Crab cake for appetizers. The bone marrow was seasoned well but the size was really small compared to other restaurant that served the same thing in the same price range. Crab cake was interesting. I got spoiled with Maryland crab cakes for over 10 years and my standards are really high when it comes to crab cakes critique. I will skip on reviewing this dish just to be fair :) My husband ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu and collard greens for the table. I got grilled pork chop. Chicken Cordon Bleu was delicious. Collard greens was okay. My pork chop was overcooked and a bit dry. Our waitress informed me that it is a thick cut pork chop and it will be pink on the inside which it is supposed to be pink for a perfectly cooked pork chop. She said a lot of customers send it back claiming that it was undercooked. Oy vey! I got it overcooked tonight. Thanks to all the people who freaked out over myoglobin! We were not in the mood for steak tonight but we will come back for it next time. I saw the table next to us ordered ribeye and it looked perfectly medium rare. I am excited for the next visit now. To the staff, thank you for finding a candle for my husband chocolate cake. I really appreciate you making his birthday special. Service was exceptional. You guys are amazing! Overall, it was a great experience dining here!

First of all, we LOVE Prime and Pint, go there regularly for dinner, and always have a perfect time. But we went for lunch, (first time), and were very disappointed. The appetizer, the burrata, was amazing, as always, but both entrees were pretty disappointing. My Reuben was just plain BAD. Granted, I spent some time in the North East and even in a cheap diner you would get a beautiful sandwich- piled with layers of thin sliced corn beef. This sandwich was a thin, fatty slice of brisket, not at all tender. First two bites were fat and the 3rd was gristle. I gave up. The service was phenomenal, and we will still consider this the best place for dinner in the area, but until there are a few more choices on the lunch menu (where was the Shrimp and Grits?? Love that), we would probably not do lunch again for a while. My husband said his burger was "ok", not special. I'm posting our receipts from lunch, 2 days ago, and dinner, a few weeks ago. Here's what I think- if lunch is as expensive as dinner, but no where near as good, it's hard to understand.

Best burger I have ever had. Great atmosphere. Very cozy. Fries cooked in beef tallow were very yummy. Can't wait to return for more.

Quaint little ice cream shop adjoining Pucketts in downtown Columbia, TN…read more Good selection of flavors...of which we only tried a few. So a return visit is in order. I ordered a Turtle Brownie Parfait and my traveling companion chose a Minty Chip Milkshake. Both had "wowie-zowie" flavors, big and bold. Problem with my Parfait was that 3/4 of the dish was brownie, not bad if you're looking for brownie with a small scoop of ice cream. (Yes, their menu says, "Brownie bits, vanilla ice cream, pecans, more brownie bits, salted caramel and hot fudge drizzle, vanilla whipped cream, amarena cherry.") But I thought it might have more ice cream. The vanilla in it was good...just give me more. Minty Chip waas very very minty....so pretty darn good...but we didn't finish it. Definitely worth a stop and taste and enjoy. We plan to do so again.

The flavors are unique and change seasonly, ranging from Chocolatey Chocolate, Toasted Pineapple, and my favorite-- Nana Puddin'. The flavors and atmosphere were nice, but the service fell short greatly for me. Below are some pros and cons from my visit today. Pros: *The flavor and texture are pretty good at the price. You're getting a good amount of unique ice cream, from locally sourced ingredients. *This location offers samples prior to scooping. I did not get a sample; however, the family in front of us did. The amount seemed like a large sample scoop. *The inside of the creamery has a variety of seating from tables, booths, and bar stool seating. This was nice on such a hot summer day. Cons: *Service was very poor. There was only one worker when me and my two parents came. The young lady was very hostile and it seemed she was trying to get people in and out of her store as quickly as possible-- there was a lack of customer service or hospitality. *My mom asked for a waffle bowl of ice cream with a caramel topping. The worker was very rude and said toppings are only allowed on ice cream in cups, but no type of cone. Maybe this should be posted for customers to know or staff could relay this nicer. *They have a large wall behind the ice cream counter of daily and seasonal flavors. Unfortunately, they were out of many of these today. You can't see the actual case until it's your turn, so it was disappointing to get up to the counter only for the worker to rudely tell you they're out of many of the flavors. Maybe these could be taken down when out of stock since the sign looked magnetic.

It looks great! Upon arrival, we spotted a case of about 4-5 different pies. Some were whole pies and others had slices cut out. There was nobody at the counter and there was not really a sign explaining how they sale. A lady sitting at the window behind the kitchen asked "Do you need something? Are you getting a pie?" oddly, and didn't seem eager to help. Once she came around, we each (a family of three), got a single slice of pie and bottled drink. The total was $35. It felt a little steep for the size of pie and quality of service. Since we were out shopping and it was raining outside, it was also disappointing they only had one table inside to eat at-- which was occupied. I feel they could add another table or two near the front window-- or even a counter against the wall with stools. Service could also be better. I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup pie. It was a traditional fudge pie with peanut butter drizzle across the top. It tasted very fresh and yummy. The pie crust had a great taste and the peanut butter was a nice addition to the rich and creamy fudge pie. I would return!

Realistically, I think it ranks somewhere in between, hence the four stars. At $8.78 per slice. including tax, the quality matches the price considering the cost of ingredients these days. Pie Sensations has quite the reputation in Middle Tennessee. It's located on the southwest corner of the adorable, vibrant square in Columbia, sandwiched between A Balloon Shop and Daniel's Barber Shop. You won't see the sign until you walk right up to the store. Delicious smells of baking pies fill this charming, deceivingly roomy space with a counter in front of the tiny kitchen, a display case, and a few tables. Personally, I'm a pie crust hater as it's often brittle and flavorless. But the crust at Pie Sensations is really good, perfectly flaky and complementary to the pies. I actually at the entire crust which is rare! There are two types of pecan pie in this world. Some prefer the rigid, thicker filling. Others like a gooey, almost liquid interior. While I prefer the thicker version, the very runny pecan pie at Pie Sensations was admittedly tasty, although not my preferred texture. It's properly sweet but not overly done with high quality and very fresh ingredients. The chess pie has that quintessential flavor of a southern classic, maybe not sweet enough for my taste but delicately balanced flavor for all palates. Their top seller, the chocolate turtle pie, was a bit too chocolatey for my personal preference. But again, the quality is obvious with a thick chocolate filling topped with caramel and pecans. While I wouldn't drive the hour from Nashville to Columbia again just to eat a slice of pie at Pie Sensations - unlike other remarkable destinations to which I'll eagerly drive three or four hours - I would encourage anyone near Columbia to sample this delicious and expertly made product! If you're in the area, it's a nice stop for dessert.
