Lunch: we went to prime and pint for lunch on a whim one day. We were the only ones in the place as it had just opened. We ordered the burrata to start and it was absolutely incredible. 10/10. Next I ordered the cheeseburger. It was cooked to perfection! I'm more of a traditional pickle girl so I could have done without the bread and butter but overall this was a 5 star experience! Unfortunately.... Dinner: fast forward several weeks to coming here on a weeknight for a family birthday dinner. There were 7 adults and 3 kids so not outrageous in numbers. While the food was still good, 3/5 steaks were overcooked after waiting 1.5 hours for our food. I'd like to note that Adam, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic. He was so sweet with my 4 year old that loves to order himself and even brought him a roll when he asked if they had bread! He is the reason I'll give this place one more try as a tiebreaker because tonight, the kitchen just failed. I'll add in, this seems like a great place for a date night. Do not bring your children here. The wait time for any food coupled with not having a changing table in the bathroom tells me this is not a kid friendly place. Honestly if it weren't for our server, I would have considered leaving after our food hadn't shown up in an hour after ordering it.

We came for Prime Rib night and were not disappointed. It was excellent. Served with creamed spinach and mushrooms. Exactly what i would have ordered had it not been included. As good as the food was, the service was even better. From Paige who could not have been sweeter or more helpful to Nick the GM who was so helpful with a beer selection and even followed us to the door to thank us for coming in. Such a nice place. Highly recommended!

We were planning to have a birthday dinner at other restaurant in downtown Nashville but the GPS said it would take us 2 hours to get there. Well, we changed our plan! We've dined in most of the restaurants in Columbia already. Why not trying a brand new restaurant. We ordered Beef bone marrow and Crab cake for appetizers. The bone marrow was seasoned well but the size was really small compared to other restaurant that served the same thing in the same price range. Crab cake was interesting. I got spoiled with Maryland crab cakes for over 10 years and my standards are really high when it comes to crab cakes critique. I will skip on reviewing this dish just to be fair :) My husband ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu and collard greens for the table. I got grilled pork chop. Chicken Cordon Bleu was delicious. Collard greens was okay. My pork chop was overcooked and a bit dry. Our waitress informed me that it is a thick cut pork chop and it will be pink on the inside which it is supposed to be pink for a perfectly cooked pork chop. She said a lot of customers send it back claiming that it was undercooked. Oy vey! I got it overcooked tonight. Thanks to all the people who freaked out over myoglobin! We were not in the mood for steak tonight but we will come back for it next time. I saw the table next to us ordered ribeye and it looked perfectly medium rare. I am excited for the next visit now. To the staff, thank you for finding a candle for my husband chocolate cake. I really appreciate you making his birthday special. Service was exceptional. You guys are amazing! Overall, it was a great experience dining here!

This was our experience.... Yours may be better .... Worse Had a 6pm reservation, didn't get seated until after 630. We were told the people at "our table" weren't done eating yet. Others were seated while we waited Beware, when ordering Plan on being charged a la carte for every item for your entire meal Drinks ... $10-16 per drink or glass of wine Chicken wing appetizer gave 6 wings that were swimming in sauce $16. Side of ranch dipping sauce was $1. Fillet Mignon $60 for meat and 3 small chunks of potatoes Sides We ordered vegetables and potatoes and Mac and cheese were $8-$12 each . Menu describes as shareable .... 12 spears for $12? Not a quantity enough to share I ordered shrimp and grits , the plate was more like a soup with a half dozen shrimp with way too much broth. $22 for this item Our dinner for 3 ended up being $268 without tip We were captive at the restaurant foe close to 3 hours due to slow service and inattentive staff. I would say flavor, portions and service quality ratio were not in balance with the pricing paid Good eating to you and best of luck

So I decided after my workout to put some really fattening high calorie greasy food in my body. I am literally doing a side by side taste test. So this will be the same info on Krystals. The Krystal's cheeseburgers and Fry took about 5 minutes to come out in the Drive-Thru. I didn't go inside because I was on my way home. I ordered two cheeseburgers and a fry. I walked over to Burger Bros and ordered their specialty cheeseburger with onion rings. Now if you know anything about me I love freshly battered onion rings never Frozen! They said they have hand beer battered onion rings! I also have two different choices for packets of ketchup. Krystal's uses Heinz and Burger Bros uses some generic name called 'Red Gold Ketchup'and in small print, 'with a cause.' if we start with Krystal's ketchup tomato flavor good stuff. Burger Bros ketchup was overly smooth and look like it was supposed to be ketchup but didn't taste like ketchup. Bummer. Crystal's burgers were how you say chicken or the egg? Who came first Krystals or White Castles? I was born and raised in Detroit and White Castle burgers are the thing to have after a club night. I think Krystals bread on their burger is trying to hard to be special. I like the fact that they leave some skin on their French fries. But it didn't help the flavor much. Burger Bros regular cheeseburger comes with some special sauce, tomato and lettuce. I didn't want to add a subtract anything so I got it just the way they want to give it to me. Even though Burger Bros took longer to cook I wasted my time. The highlight was talking to the young man behind the counter it was very helpful and pleasant. He said he was the son of the owner. More power to people of color owning businesses. But I digress, I enjoyed the onion rings with Krystal's Heinz ketchup. Good thing I had some leftover Texas Roadhouse dipping sauce from the night before. Everything tastes good with that stuff! I went inside Burger Bros because they had no drive-thru nobody was there very small seating area. Oh yeah remember this is all around 8:00 p.m. tonight. Yeah I know I just worked out for nothing. So same review on Burger Bros . The only thing that was harmed in the making of this review was my colon.

When we first moved to Tennessee, our realtor told us that if you're looking for a classic lunch…read morespot in Columbia, you've got to try "Jumbo House". Was that a good recommendation? Let's first start by acknowledging what Jumbo House is NOT: It's fair to say, Jumbo House is not for everybody. This is not your $15 dollar gourmet burger eatery that you can order from an app. It is not the cleanest or shiniest establishment. But I would argue that it intentionally offers something different to its patrons. So let's talk about what Jumbo House is though: Jumbo House is a local mom and pop dive in the heart of Columbia that offers your typical fast food fare such as burgers, fries, nuggets, corndogs and more. It's priced reasonably when compared to the average drive-thru chains. Its aesthetics reminds its guests of a simpler time. It is the smell of deep-frier oils in the air and a greasy bag of fried food to share with friends and family. It's a beloved spot for some and a misunderstood spot by others. Ultimately, I say that our realtor was right and that everyone living in or passing through Columbia should experience it at least once. Those who know what they are signing up for when they visit Jumbo House are likely in for a good time. So, go grab yourself a Johnny Burger, hot fries and a cold drink and become a true Colombian.
