Eighth & Main is easy to find in the downtown Columbia area. The burgers here were pretty good. The employees here were friendly and helpful. The food is definitely made fresh and to order vs. being fast food. The dining room is large with lots of tables and booths. There are a few more near the entrance too. I ordered the Fungus Among Us. It was a double smash burger with Swiss and mushrooms. The burger was tasty and the bun was nice and buttery. The sweet and spicy Brussels sprouts were simple and tasty. My husband had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and thought it was pretty good. My daughter had the kid's meal with a corn dog and fries. She enjoyed it. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're in this area and craving a burger.

Another fantastic visit to 8th & Main Burger! I just had to leave another review because their new Southern Sting Wings are amazing! Perfectly fried, super crispy, and that sauce is absolutely perfect. Every bite was packed with flavor. Their burgers have always been top-notch (still the best in Columbia, hands down), and after years of dining here, the food has been consistently great every single time. My go-to side dish is always the crispy Brussels sprouts with that sweet and spicy sauce. It is so addictive! Overall, 8th & Main continues to be my favorite burger spot in Columbia, TN. Great food, great people, and they just keep getting better! The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating, even on busy days.

Yum. It is a hip diner. Burgers and onion wings were awesome. Fries were perfect crinkle fries.

Hidden restaurant in Downtown Columbia, TN., Eighth & Main Burger Company is a fantastic place to stop to eat! Great atmosphere, service, food is unbelievable. Took me back to the lake around Celina and St. Marys Ohio. Love the Huge Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, and the Greek pasta salad was delicious as well. We drove from Nashville today and was not disappointed. A good friend posted about his experience here, which is why we came. Thank you, we will tell others and will definitely be back.

This is a newer burger place in town. I really enjoyed The Devil Goes Down to Georgia burger (see pic). The service was very nice and place is fine inside. My only complaint are the fries, not my fave by far (reminded me of High School cafeteria fries). But they have other options for side other than fries!

Absolutely delicious! We loved our burgers and the fried Brussels. Little patio area with room for the kiddos to run was a plus.

Everybody I know loves their Granny's collards best, but I swear that these are truly outstanding. The werewolf was great, I really liked the slaw/collard/mayo synergy, with a generous amount of roast beef. Service was great today, so I am assuming my previous visit was the exception. Every time I pass through (or near to) Columbia, I shall be back.

Ollie and Finn's Counter…read more Tucked away in a little brewery near the Columbia square is this little sandwich shop. I have been recommended this place by multiple people throughout the years and finally got a chance to give it a try. (Well, I say that but mainly because I go to Gold's Deli everytime I'm in Columbia. So it was time to share the love) They have a pretty large menu of various sandwiches, I wish I had grabbed a picture of them. I asked the cashier if she had to pick one sandwich which one would it be, she gave me a list of about 3 that all sounded amazing. The fourth she suggested was if you're overwhelmed or unsure just get the Italian. I LOVE Italian sandwiches so that is what I ended up with. Everything here is fresh so I waited about 5-10 minutes for my sandwich to get made. I will definitely be trying out some of the more adventurous creations next time but this was so good. This Italian has a freshness to it that I have a hard time describing but their olive oil blend is lovely, the olives, banana peppers and lettuce helped with that fresh taste as well I'm sure. The bread is incredible! It taste house baked, crisp outer crust with a pillowy interior. The house chips were also really good and salted perfectly. The inside is cool, it's a microbrewery and there's subtle like alien themes throughout? Overall can't wait to try it out again, stop by if you're ever down in Columbia!

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted. Inside is clean with 4 tables for sitting inside to eat. The restaurant is small and cutely decorated. The display cases with meats, cheeses and different salads and condiments looked great. The deli meats for the subs is sliced very thin. We started with lasagna and garlic bread that Dave and I shared. The filling had beef and Italian sausage and it was delicious. The cheese pull was good and not too much. The red sauce was very good. 5/5 We ordered foods to go after eating the lasagna in store. I failed to take a picture of the lasagna. Suffice it to say it was inhaled quickly. We tried the eggplant panini in store too. Everything else was to go. I ordered a Bruno Sub and asked for roasted red peppers to be added. Honestly I couldn't taste the roasted red peppers as there weren't very many added. There was a thin slice of 1 onion ring on the sub so I couldn't taste any onion at all. For me that's a fail as I like to taste ingredients. 4/5 The eggplant panini came with a side of marinara. I have had eggplant panini's before and was anticipating this one. When I saw it, I was very disappointed. There were 2 very thin slices of eggplant inside a sub roll that had been put in a panini press or under bricks to smash the bread down. The only taste was bread. Marinara was good but couldn't rescue the panini. 1/5 We bought 1 arancini and it came with marinara. I heated it up along with the marinara. One bite in and I was sold. I would definitely go back and order arancini again. The meat inside was flavored well and the marinara made everything come together well. 5/5 We ordered a pastrami. For us there was way too much fat and we couldn't remove the fat like we can in a Jewish deli because this meat was sliced paper thin. 3/5 The potato salad was lacking in flavor to me. There was a significant amount of mayo in my opinion. Dave liked it. 3/5 The marinated artichokes were delicious and so were the white bean salad. 5/5 Dave ordered a Super Sub. It had 4 meats plus lettuce, tomato, and cheese. There was a tiny sliver of onion but we couldn't taste it. He loved his sub. 5/5 The two cannoli's were delicious. I favored the vanilla and Dave favored the chocolate. 5/5 We will return as the food was good. If you are missing an Italian Deli taste, please stop by. This place makes everything from scratch. It was worth the trip.

The fish and chips are excellent, the fried Brussels sprouts are a must-order, and I highly recommend the braised pork belly. It's absolutely delicious. My husband is obsessed with the elk burger and orders it every single time we visit. The only downside is the service can be very inconsistent. We've had visits with amazing servers who were attentive and provided excellent customer service. Other times, we've felt completely forgotten, no water refills, no check-ins, and long waits for basic things. If Birdsong Social could provide more consistent service, it would easily be one of our favorite restaurants. The food keeps us coming back, but your dining experience may depend on who is serving you that day. Love the ambiance, have enough space in between tables.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Birdsong Social!…read more I had the pleasure of visiting Birdsong Social on a beautiful spring afternoon, and it was perfect from start to finish, as always. The Steakhouse Burger is hands-down one of the best I've had -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The fries were cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and absolutely addictive when dipped in their house ranch. That ranch is next-level -- tantalizingly delicious and packed with flavor! I also loved having the seasonal Mango Cart beer on tap. It was refreshing, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal. What really made the visit special was the outstanding service. All of the staff were excellent, but Summer D and Abby went above and beyond, making me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of while I relaxed out on the patio. Sitting outside on a perfect spring day, enjoying my meal with my favorite country music playing softly in the background... it doesn't get much better than that. Birdsong Social has it all -- great food, fantastic drinks, a wonderful atmosphere, and a team that truly cares. I'll definitely be back soon and often. Highly recommend!
