The owner of the company, a man named Gino, was referred to us by A church friend. We needed some Roofing as well as interior work in a hallway. Gino came to the house and gave us a general assessment of the required work that needed to be done. He told us that when State Farm had done their assessment, to email him their correspondence. I did so, yet numerous attempts to follow up with him went unanswered. Phone calls, emails, and text messaging were all ignored. My brother Thomas, finally reached Gino on the phone, and Gino told him to call back in 15 minutes. Gino did not answer the phone and has never returned the phone call. Anyone reading this should take this as a stern warning not to get involved with this company. They are terribly uncaring and unreliable. read more

I received and paid for new vinyl siding from Prime. Everything from that point went fairly smoothly. However, all the work happened while I was out of town. While Gino's crew was on scaffolding, Dept of Buildings came by and fined me $5,000 because Gino did not have a scaffolding permit. Gino assured me this wouldn't be an issue and all would go away/be taken care of by the time I got back. He finished the job and told me he obtained a permit (complete lie). I returned from my trip and the work was completed and the site was tidy. I paid Gino the final payment assuming he would stand by his word and go to DOB court with me and pay the fine if it came to that point. Gino ignored every phone call and email after I gave him final payment until after I went to court. VERY fortunately I was able to argue my way out of the $5,000 ticket and also had to complete a ton of paperwork to remove the partial stop work order that Gino imposed on my property. So long story short, the work is ok, but do not trust or rely on Gino for anything. Get all in writing and if there are any permits involved, call the issuing agency to confirm all is well before paying Gino anything. To reiterate, DO NOT TRUST GINO...it almost cost me an extra $5,000. read more

We got a recommendation to work with Prime. They sounded very nice and fast, so we agreed on a plan and they came to demolish our porch and build a screened in porch. They began to build the doors to the wrong spec and sent several people to the house, none of which had one vision of what they were building. They asked us if they could work through the weekend, so we cancelled our plans and hired a painter to come help over the weekend. When they didn't show up on Saturday, I called to ask where they were and they asked for more money. So here we were, a porch in a dangerous condition for our small children, and Prime holding us up for more money. They never showed up and we decided we don't want to work with them. DONT USE PRIME! Their quote for a new roof on our home came in at about 40% lower than all others and sadly we got what we paid for: a roof that leaked immediately and needed 3 more visits to fix. According to another roofer I had look at the job the type of roof they put on is actually illegal in NY. Awesome. 6 months later it leaked again. Their ability to make and meet appts is appallingly deficient. Steer clear of this shoddy company. read more

DO NOTE USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON AT ALL- I guess I can't give them 0 stars. When you go on the website it says "we stand behind our work and our warranties FOR LIFE" - not so much- Within 5 years my roof was leaking. When they came to "fix it", I had 2 service people not show up a 3rd who put some patch on the roof, and a 4th who replaced some shingles and I was charged $300 for the convenience. When I confronted their arrogant supervisor about the charge, I was told that when you buy a car the warranty doesn't cover oil changes! So in essence, a leaky roof is not a warranty item, but a maintenance item. The 2 roofers I have told this to have needed a moment to catch their breath from laughter. The repaired roof section was nailed down (creating nail holes and leak opportunities) and not sealed at all. The 2 different roofers I had come out to look at my roof both showed me how they can stick their hand under the shingles that were repaired. So I now have a new leak, and am spending $4,000 to replace a vast portion of my roof and NEVER have to deal with these people ever again. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH what a poor experience I had with this company, their shoddy business practices, and the fact that THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK, NOR DO THEIR HONOR THEIR LIFETIME WARRANTIES. read more
