I was invited here for a birthday dinner. I said why not, cause anything for a good friend. The invite said that we wouldn't be seated until everyone arrived so I made sure to do my part, get there on time. I was the first to show up and decided, hey I'll check in for the birthday girl. I walked in and no one greeted me. This group of four walks in and were addressed instantly. Welp. Ok. A waitress saw me standing there and finally asked if I needed help. Of course, I need help. By the time we were leaving around 2200, there were multiple groups outside waiting. This must be their busy time. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside seem nice if there's a nice breeze out. You can choose. Waiters were not attentive at all. It took a while to get our orders in. We had to signal someone else to call our waiter. Then, the person who brought out our food slipped away before acknowledging us or hearing out our requests. THE FOOD was definitely on point. The moment we received our plates, we understood the reason for such a hype. I had the wagyu sliders (so filling and delicious), the ribeye (so much flavor and cooked to perfection), and the lobster Mac and cheese (yummy, a must have). When went warm up my wife's food I noticed a roach run from under container a d as I'm getting ready to prepare my food to be warm up next there was a baby roach inside the bag. We went to our room and wife opened up her container and there was 2 dead roaches inside of her container. I called the restaurant to complain only to be told that I would have to call back the next day to talk to Shannon. I called back the next day and the receptionist told me that she could not find Shannon and she took my information down to have Shannon call me. No call back from anyone. Our waiter Patrick was exceptional. We started with a spectacularly mixed margarita. The rolls they put out are outrageous . We ordered shrimp cocktails along with east coast and west coast oysters. The shrimps were the size of my fists and everything was delicious. We ordered the Ribeye Steak for 2 which the chef slices. We also had truffled five cheese Mac and Cheese. Finally able to visit Prime 112, and it didn't disappoint. Very busy on a Saturday night and had a 8:30 reservation and were seated quickly. The main dinning room was very packed, too packed...lucky for us they sat us in the second dinning room. We were there for the door and celebrities, so this worked out perfect. Began the night really upset that we were seated close to 45 minutes after our reservation time. But our server immediately turned the night around. He had great suggestions across the food and drink menu. He even took time to give us some lessons on the tequila used in our tequila espresso martinis. I highly recommend trying the garlic mashed potatoes, creamed corn, and Brussel sprouts. We even enjoyed these cold after a night out!! read more

We love him! This place is MY favorite restaurant in Miami hands down! The cocktails are amazing. We always start with the Colossal Stone Crab Legs. We love Joe's but they DO NOT serve Colossal's the biggest we've gotten there are Jumbo's but back to Prime 112... we always order two first and ALWAYS end up getting another two!! Then if it's available we'll order the sole, I'll order a nice bone in Ribeye and some amazing sides and we'll always end dinner with either the Birthday Cake or the Chocolate Cake!!! We went during Art Basel weekend and this place was mobbed!! The weather was cold and windy for Miami but that didn't stop the patrons. The indoor and outdoor tables were full and there was a waiting line to get in. Anyway, valet is available and I recommend that because parking is scarce. At the bar instead of peanut there is bacon. I never had that at any other place. I had the filet mignon and it was sooo tender and tasty!! The sides were asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes. Desert was key lime pie and a gigantic cookie. Perfect dinner. The lamb was very good but it had breading on the sides and they served it dry. Mint jelly on the side. Mashed potatoes were fresh garlic mashed. Social distancing was not possible as the place was very crowded and every table was full during dinner but it helps that we were outdoors. They offer valet ($20) as there is no parking. I was so happy to return to try prime 112 during my vacation again after 5 years. The place was crowded but i was glad that i made a reservation. The checkin process took over 30 minutes which was a bit frustrating, plus i was starving lol I ordered the ribs eye steak, braised collards which were too sweet; and lobster Mac. I have had two fantastic meals here at prime 112 on my trip to Miami . Highlights from my meals were: Grilled Louisiana oysters. These were probably the best I've ever had. I don't even think they were on the menu but they had Parmesan and were grilled perfectly. French onion soup: again probably the best I've ever had... So much cheesy goodness. Great flavor. Stuffed grouper: Great fish dish and it came on a bed of spinach. Creamed corn: fantastic side and it almost taste like dessert. Waygu bone in tomahawk: AMAZING steak and worth the price tag. It was a good size than enough to share for several people. Cauliflower au gratin: this was actually probably my favorite side. Obviously it wasn't healthy but it was absolutely delicious! I did not miss my scalloped potatoes. Truffle Mac and cheese : must have for Mac and cheese lovers. The service here has been phenomenal both times I have been here and the menu is super impressively large for a steak house . I'm obsessed With trying new things and the options here are endless. Amazing chicken, very chaotic and louder than I expected on the inside of restaurant. I went with a few of my friends plus one of my friends dad who was in town. Our waiter was super sweet, some funny things happened that weren't necessarily expected but it gave us all a good laugh. Along with this dish I also tried the 4 cheese truffle Mac n cheese which was delightful. Also one of the bacon appetizers, I can't remember the name but it was cooked perfect and was delicious. And the final appetizer was just a chaser salad.. it was HUGE. Everything about this place was terrible. We made a reservation and weren't able to get seated until 30 min after our reservation time. Once we arrive at our table it took someone 10 min to greet us and bring us water. We ordered rib eye, filet mignon, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, and cream of spinach. None of our steaks had any flavor and was very tough to eat which shouldn't even be possible because we ordered them medium to medium rare. My steak personally was dry. It appeared to be cooked medium rare however it was so dry that I had to drink water to get it down. If I had to guess the steak was not fresh which was disappointing given how expensive everything was. The cream of spinach was bland and tasted like baby food, the truffle Mac and cheese was so dry you could cut it with a knife, and the bake potatoes...I mean you can't really mess those up.
