Sergio requested the primary insured's name, explained the process, and I sent over our insurance company's summary of dwellings coverage on 6/30/26 following the adjuster's inspection. After following up a few times with both Sergio and my adjuster to see if they had connected, Sergio informed me on 7/14/26 that they had spoken and he forwarded a document to me. However, it turned out to be the exact same paperwork I had already sent him two weeks prior. When I pointed out the duplicate, communication completely stopped. Hoping to clear up the confusion, I called him. He texted back saying he couldn't talk at the moment--which is completely understandable--so I asked him to call me when he had a chance. That is when the customer service took a sharp turn. He responded via text with: "Understand but I am also taking care of more customers." I replied, "Understood, when u have 4 min." That text was sent on 7/15/26. After days of total silence, I decided to make one final effort to resolve this. On July 20, 2026, I called and left Sergio a message asking for a call back by 5:00 PM. I wanted to make one last attempt to fix the situation because I know leaving a permanent, scathing review online is a bridge-burning move that eliminates any chance of a company making things right. Unfortunately, he never returned the call. As a customer with an actively damaged roof exposed to the elements, I was incredibly taken aback by being told other clients were a higher priority, and even more disappointed by the total lack of response to a final deadline. Because of this complete lack of organization, reliability, and basic professionalism, I have lost all trust. I have since contacted my insurance adjuster to revoke JP Exteriors' access to my claim, and I am taking my business to a roofing company that actually values its clients. Alfredo kept me updated the entire way through and his team took care of replacing the roof, new gutters, plywood on one side of the roof, broken fascia. They also went above and beyond on an additional request to add a new ridge vent and better support a sagging roof, giving me options and executing. When it rained in the middle of the night one of the contractors was up early to come by and make sure the tarp held up and there was no damages -- was very happy with their care and services. They are terrible all around they were quick to pick up the checks once they got half of the full amount they were no were to be seen after me hounding them about when they were going to do the work. They started on the siding early in the morning got about half way before one of the guys from the company Brandon started saying there was asbestos in the siding underneath getting us all scared telling us we were going to have to leave. I should of listened to they guys when that were putting up the build that he was only doing this to get more money out of the insurance company I didn't listen and heard Brandon out and he told me he would take samples and let me know after a couple of weeks I found out there was nothing on the old siding no asbestos nothing that's the last I heard of Brandon I felt with another guy named David he tried helping me out and told me we would have the job completed soon but after a couple weeks the he same would give me the run around. I ended up contacting the owner Carlos at first he was pleasant calling me bro acting like my friend. So after almost a month of material sitting on my front lawn, my house half finished with the old siding he sends out a crew. The moment I saw the guy putting up the siding he laughed and said I told you there was no asbestos this guy was just trying to get more money. The guys finished with in 4 hours and left the gutters down the awning want out back did a terrible job. I call Carlos to ask him when he will send his crew back out to finish the roof and the rest of the work of this is were his attitude started to change after a few weeks I called him and he exploded on the phone tell to find some one else and I could nag to them at this point i told him that was fine and I would get a hold of my insurance company to get this taken care of. Here's where it gets shady we go to dig and find out why it was taking so long and we find out storm life restoration is not licensed in Indiana and they hired a completely different company to do the work on top of everything the other company forged my signature.Now we are stuck dealing with this nightmare because of this company. Beware doing business with this company while they might have a good rating they give there customers discounts for putting in a good comment. This company will not do the work them self's they will hire some else to do it.
