The quoted price was very affordable, for the job he did he should have charged more! When he showed up to the house we needed the entire second floor, stairs and a single room on the ground floor that we were planning to replace the carpeting due to the number of stains. We have cream colored carpeting so the stairs showed a noticeable track in the middle that was darker than the rest of the stair. Cost was not cheap ( $735) but not sure how that would compare to something comparable in terms of quality. I certainly would recommend for a job done well and professionally ( very experienced). When I was inquiring on bids they were very responsive. I was asked if I wished to tip ( told up to me) and I did which added another 15%, it was my choice, but you might just want to be prepared. I would have wished to know this in advance.
