When this location initially opened it was very good, with reasonable pricing, solid selection throughout (clothing, shoes, kitchen appliances, etc.) and now the prices have climbed so high that there's literally no difference between the item's retail price, only difference being that it's no longer new. And if I'm going to pay full price, I'm buying it new, not secondhand/used. The store could greatly benefit from a thorough cleaning (& not just sweeping aisles) as well as character improvement on part of owner, as he's very abrasive and not the least bit friendly. (Putting it mildly!) I used to frequent this location a few x's a month, but resolved to never return after last encounter with that man, as he was verbally abusive/extremely nasty. Took everything I had to bite my tongue & walk away, but I did and have never returned. And if I could leave 0 stars, I would. 2/10 read more

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Southern Maryland. The store is huge and they have a large variety of quality items at excellent prices. If you download their rewards app, you can also earn some additional coupons. Great place to make donations also. read more

I'll just tell you what I scored: a beautiful glass carafe with lid that turns into cup; Luninarc arc glasses with lids; a NWT Anne Taylor wrap around shirt; and Anne Taylor slides that will help me get my Carrie Bradshaw seasons 1-2 on. Zero stars if I could! The manager at your Waldorf, MD store is unprofessional and disrespectful. I was in your store today and heard him berating an employee and yelling at the employee stating "Call my boss now in front of me!" Apparently he did not like the employee telling him that moving some racks that were full required two people to move them according to OSHA guidelines  This man then agressively walked up to the employee and assaulted him with his chest. He placed his chest to the employees chest and then yelled telling the employee to "Call his boss now in front of him!" The employee said "No for what, he's going to back your behavior." The manager then told the employee to "Get out of his store!" I left when the employee left. There is no way I will ever be a patron of this store ever again and I intend to let everyone know that this store has no respect for its employees. You all need to replace management in the Waldorf store. The current manager is unprofessional. I have been coming to this store for a very long time and I can't help but wonder after witnessing this unprofessional display whether it was age or racially motivated. I don't know if this manager took such an aggressive posture because he was trying to be intimidating to someone who was visibly younger than him or if it was motivated by him feeling like that young black man isn't going to tell him about OSHA safety requirements. Either way him being the manager is not a good look for the brand. I definitely will not be returning to this store! There is no way I can in good conscious spend my money in a store that treats its employees this way. Replace the manager with someone who is respectful of the employees. read more

They had neck massagers for $14.14 we had two because of the 50% off and the color was green which was one of the fifty percent off colors for the day. A male employee approached us and said we should go and get more because they are $6.96. He marked them down he said nothing about the color being changed. We got two more get to the register only to find out they were not honoring the 50% off and they changed the color. Mind you all the boxes of neck massagers we're marked $14.14 and the color was green. They should have been 50% off of $6.96. We were very disappointed. Maybe they thought they were doing us a favor by saving us eleven cents. read more

I frequent this thrift store once or twice a month since its nearby where I live, and I always come out with at least one or two quality items. While the items aren't displayed in the best way (clothes are tightly packed on the racks), the key is to have patience when you're looking and digging for items. My advice: don't go in looking for basics. Most of what I have found are statement pieces (something funky or something that stands out). I've found a beautiful hand beaded Indian tradition dress for $15 that's unlike anything in my closet. When it comes to dresses, I've found designer brands (Anne Taylor, Calvin Klein and Banana Republic) also for $15. I have also found sweaters and shirts here and there for $3-10, but pants in my size (which can range from a 2-6, depending on the brand) are harder to find. I also found a quality dish set of several pieces (plates, saucers, bowls, tea cups) for a co-worker moving into her apartment for $15. On certain days, they have discounts according to the colored tag on the items. On Wednesdays, college students receive 50% off. A majority of these clothes are outdated, but there's always a gem or two with every visit. I would recommend to people of Waldorf and Southern Maryland. I can always count on this place for the basics. I have truly never left here empty handed. It is very big and spacious and I really like that they always have a little bit of everything. My only real complaint is the lack of any fitting rooms. Other than that, I enjoy this thrift store and would definitely recommend. read more

The largest thrift store in Waldorf with a large selection of clothing and homegoods. Reasonable prices for SOME items. I would have given it 4 stores however they really need to work on their checkout process. Prepare to wait in line for 20-30 minutes at times. I can't count how many times the manager would stand around talking while there are 5 people waiting in line... very nice people though. read more

This place can't decide if it wants to be a thrift store or Macy's. Please tell me why I'd buy a winter coat for 149.99 in a thrift store. Although, I've noticed increasing prices in many thrift stores nowadays, this place is unreasonable. It's a big store with racks and racks of selections but I very rarely find anything in there. My fiancee and I stop at this thrift store often from April through October on our way to Cobb Island. It is what it is...a thrift store....you don't always find something...but other times you find a jewel. Nice selection of books, clothes are organized very well, purses, too. The toy section is messy, but only because the parents that bring their kids in don't watch them. Men's section is good-you can always find t-shirts or dress shirts for very low prices. The shoes are not too good, but occassionally you can find a half way ok pair for gardening or cutting grass in. The people at the front counter - most are kind and talkative--there's one that always gives discounts or throws in an extra book if you buy a lot. As a thrift store goes---not bad for the size of it. read more

I find this store to be somewhat better than Goodwill not far from here. In size, it is bigger. However, it seems like it takes a long time to turn over some of their stock, like shoes. Most of the same worn out ones each time I go with a scattered few recent stock. Huge store. Very disorganized, pricing is weird, no signs for anything. With the exception of clothing which has tags, nothing else does. Prices are written ON the product itself. Don't know with what, but it doesn't come off. Most of them, you can hardly read the price. I bought a lot of books, and the prices were all over the place. It seemed, the thicker the book, the more expensive it was. Furniture section was a disaster, looked more like a dump than a store. They do have military discount all the time. Can't be used when other day or color specific discounts are in place. Not sure how they determine tag colors though since nothing has tags. Checkout process is painfully slow as every single item price has to be hand put into the register, coupled with the fact that you can hardly read the prices on most items, the process gets lengthy. Also bought a toy figure for my son, literally, as soon as we were in the car, pieces started breaking off. Upon further examination, turned out it had been broken before and the pieces had been glued back on. Trying to explain to a 3 year old why his awesome new toy now has to go into the trash is a horrendous task. If this store were more centrally located, I would consider going again, however, since it's on the far outer side of Waldorf, with all the aforementioned issues, it's really not worth it. read more
