The crew arrived on time and did a great job expertly extracting the plum tree, grinding down the main trunk and a lateral root. They took their time to remove dead wood areas and shape the larger trees to comply with city regulations but still retain shape and shade. Same was done with the shrubs/trees in the backyard, improving spacing from the house and reducing height to not block solar panels. All debris was removed and ground up in their wood chipper. Living in the woods after experiencing a total loss fire was a bit nerve-racking, but we fell in love with this property in the redwoods. I knew we needed to do a bunch of large tree branch cutting for safety and also aesthetic purposes. Also we needed removal of fire risk dead branches on the ground all over the property and on steep forest hillsides.
