I was referred to Dominion Physical Therapy by my cousin, a long-time patient at the Hampton facility. I had suffered severe back pain, i.e., sciatica, scoliosis, and degenerative disc disease, (L3,4,5, & S1). My initial evaluation by the doctor was very warm and congenial. I can surmise from my visit that the doctor was concerned about my entire physical, mental, and emotional well-being. His holistic approach to my overall musculoskeletal system was revolutionary. My visit to this facility has targeted areas that other physical therapists have missed. Make no mistake though they are tough on you and will work you for sure but are very understanding when its too much or hurting. I've not met anyone or been to the other facilities, but have spoken on the phone with many of them due to my job and anyone I've talked to has always been helpful and extra friendly. I called them this one time when I could not make it to an appointment, and they said it was all good and they would be more than happy to reschedule me, but they failed to remind me that there would be a fine. They sent me a "no-show" fine for $150 for 3 missed appointments. A heads up would've been nice. They never make reminder calls or confirmation calls at all, or even give out hard copies of appointment schedule because it is against their policy. When I try to contest the no-show fee, the rude manager pointed out that it was my fault and it is not difficult to remember two days out of a week for therapy. I don't think anyone can remember the forever revolving appointment time and days that keep changing every week without a hard copy or a reminder.

Dr. Maloof explained his course of action and I was sent to the "parts department" (crutches, wheelchairs, boots etc,). Thea was very professional and gave me all the time needed. I'm now in a boot and expect to be as close to normal as I can be in about 6 weeks. The office staff, Dr. Maloof and his "crew", and Thea made me feel they cared. After doing that, she says I'm now 7 mins late & need to wait 30 mins for the next available. I can't argue, I'm in a lot of pain. It hurt to make it to the appointment. Hurts to walk, sit, & stand. My appointment was with Christina Curtis, who passed me off to Hadley E Monteith. Hadley E Monteith did not want to treat me because I brought my 4yr old Grand daughter. I explained her father is deployed & we don't have a sitter. My granddaughter sits in the corner with her tablet or video game, she is well behaved, and has a little backpack with snacks. Seriously who is she hurting? The appointments aren't even long, Hadley E Monteith, said things like "i didn't know you were bringing her" & "who watches her when you work". Hadley E Monteith was not sympathetic to how much pain I'm in.
