I ordered the fried haddock dinner, comes with coleslaw and fries. First off I had to go back to get my coleslaw and got an attitude from the 13yr old behind the cash register. I chose the option for Cajun fries instead of normal ones 1.00 extra, fries were the normal throw In The frier while being frozen type deal tasted ok. The biggest mistake was the haddock. I asked for the option for it to be BAKED, apparently there cooks does NOT know what baked means. Haddock came in a small tin with FRIED breadcrumbs and about 1/4 an inch of fucking oil. I had to do a yelp review because I already did a five star and a review on Google. Today was the usual lahge cheese pizza with a bag of tri sum chips and a sweet treat of some home-made rice pudding. First off, opinions will vary as to the most important paht of a pizza. I, myself, am a sauce guy and the sauce is amazeballs. Brilliant recipe and great taste. Matches very well with the perfectly melted cheese blend and the crust is perfect underneath and perfectly crispy on the edges. Perfect foldability. The rice pudding, which is one of my favorite sweet treats of all time, is cooked perfectly and has the perfect amount of cinnamon on it for a great spice to a great creamy texture. 25 years of primos runs through my veins. Pizzas, fries, wraps, subs, and sweet treats with a consistently courteous kind respectful team. Thank you for being there for days I didn't wanna cook, Friday night dinners, or family functions. We received "above and beyond" service. During their lunch rush, they mistakenly gave us one wrong order. Even though we did pick-up, they recognized the # we called from and were on the way to our house to bring the correct order when we called to ask about it. You rarely get service like that. Food is good. Service sucks. Called and order a large calzone (have always been asked if you want marinara sauce in the calzone or on the side). This time not asked assumed it would be on the side. Food was delivered noted no marinara sauce. Called and mentioned it was forgotten for them to send some over please. Recieved a call back 5 minutes later saying it was OUR fault because we never asked for it so it was never charged or put in the order. "It depends on who rings you up" maybe train all your staff the same. Our receipt says "no sauce inside" which I was never asked about any sauce. I've never had a problem with them from a service standpoint. The food is ok, the salads are very fresh. I order from them weekly and trust them because of how consistent they are. I recently ordered a fried clam dinner and was disappointed. The batter was done well, but the clams were too rubbery, half of them were unchewable. Even the coleslaw was a bit dry with a very little pickled flavor and strong horseradish taste. The onion rings were pretty good, just a little bit too greasy tho. I have gone here several times and I have always felt the pizza subs wings are ok, not great but also too greasy. Just lay off the oil a bit. read more

I went here with a couple of friends while visiting town a few months ago. We ordered a pineapple/Jalapeno pizza and mozzarella sticks. We waited for over forty five minutes at 3 in the afternoon- the restaurant was pretty dead aside from the local gossips stopping by to chat. I went up to the counter to ask about my pizza and saw it was sitting on a shelf over the oven. They gave me my pizza, It was cold- and the cheese was unmelted. I had to go back up and ask for the mozzarella sticks- they forgot and had to make them again. The girl that helped me was super helpful. She wanted to give me the mozzarella sticks for free, and only charged me for the pizza. Something happened to the register and she had to call the manager (young guy, dark hair, probably the owners son) over to help. He came over, looked at the bill and whispered to the girl- "What did they order?". She said "Mozzarella sticks and a pizza". He said "There is only a pizza here." She explained what had happened, how she was giving us a discount for the 45 minute wait, under cooked pizza and forgotten sticks. He took one look at the girl and said "I don't think so. You're costing me money." The girl was absolutely mortified. I told her it was okay, and promised I would review her grease bag boss, who should know a little bit about customer service. The food wasn't good, it wasn't cooked, and I was a forgotten customer. They don't deserve my money in the future. read more

Owner very Abusive 3/24/2018 at 8:00pm I placed an order for a pizza at 9:20pm i received a phone call saying they put the wrong address and that my pizza is in Lowell with the driver and that my pizza should be here soon. I asked for a discount since they messed up my order so i was put on hold with no word. When some one answered it was the owner. I explained to the owner that i do not want a pizza that is cold when he expected me to pay $25 for a cold pizza i replied with please take it off my credit card. He rudely hung up the phone after yelling at me for upsetting him when in fact he was in the wrong. I felt bad for the driver because even he was upset that they screwed up and how poorly they handled the situation. I would not recommend any one to deal with this business there service and respect for customers is zero. read more

We have been ordering for years and have always enjoyed a variety of Primos menu items. Pizza is usually great, love their club sandwiches, fresh salads and italian or steak and cheese subs (thumbs up). I have noticed that since moving to the new location the quality of food has definitely gone down a bit, maybe they can't handle the new volume or need to work on retraining new kitchen staff. Today we got a small pizza and it was a puddle of sauce and cheese, I know smalls don't get as crispy but we picked up a slice and everything slid right off onto the plate, disappointing. The french fries used to be my favorite around but for some reason the fry guy doesn't like to let them cook, even when we want them well done! Let them cook man, no one likes limp fries. Just found out they carry quite a few dessert options, that's exciting, dangerous.. but delicious! Tonight I ordered food for delivery. I ordered the meal @ 6:40pm. At 7:40pm I called to inquire about my delivery because it had not been received, and I was told it is on its way the driver was leaving in a few minutes. At 8:07pm I called back about the delivery because it still was not received and I was told once again it was on its way. I asked why it is taking so long since I ordered over an hour ago and I was told they got really busy and backed up. I was told they are sorry and that the driver was on his way. this Is the 2nd time and the last time I will ever order from Primo's. over 1 1/2 hours for a delivery of a cheeseburger and Italian sub is way too long to wait. read more

We live right down the road and have ordered takeout from Primo's for years. I always thought the subs were really good (the bread is the best). When they moved into their new spot, I noticed the quality was a bit lower. I think they had so many new employees that it took a while for things to get back on track. I am happy to say, that it is really good again. The new restaurant is really nice inside. The beer and wine is very reasonable. I LOVE their new salads - the Super spinach. They are great and so much better than the salads they used to have at the old place. I'm not a huge fan of Greek pizza but since it's so hard to find any other style in Dracut, I find this is the best one around. read more

This is the best tasting pizza in Lowell. The only reason I would have ordered anywhere else is because I was too lazy to feel like calling, but they finally have an online ordering system now. I live too close to complain about delivery times being an issue, and I order pizza because I'm smart enough not to expect a pizza restaurant to make every single thing delicious. Every part of the pizza; cheese, crust, sauce, are all good. They also use the right amount of everything. Some places use too much sauce, some too much cheese, some have a crust that is either too hard or doesn't taste good, but literally every part of their pizza is good. One time there was ever an issue; my pizza was overcooked for a pickup order. They took my address and delivered a new one, no delivery cost of course. Poor listening skills. I called to order a tuna club and specifically said no tomatoes. It was read back to me twice and guess what was on the sandwich, tomatoes. Also ordered a Ham and Cheese and I guess it automatically comes with provolone (wax). Never asked what cheese and I assumed like everywhere else we go, it would be American Cheese. We got a spinach pie dinner for take-out, it came with a large piece of spinach pie, a nice amount of rice pilaf and a side salad with greek dressing. I will not order from Primo again. I think they are very unprofessional. I ordered a haddock meal on Wednesday for my lunch and the price on the screen at their restaurant say $9.99 for haddock plate, then there was a sign with weekly specials that said $11.99 on Mon, Tues and Wednesdays although I was charged $18.99 because apparently I didn't order it as fish fry (even though the special clearly says haddock)!! Then when I mentioned it to the cashier she didn't seem to care and another woman that worked there walked out and turned the sign around and said I didn't order it as the fish special, and another woman was arguing with a man working there saying I ordered it as a haddock dinner NOT fish fry (again fish fry clearly states it is haddock, in my opinion it shouldn't matter how its ordered, haddock is haddock! Not to mention the restaurant was packed with customers at lunch time while all this was going on. So, needless to say I'm not happy and I feel this was inappropriate and unprofessional of them to do this in front of a dining room of customers and not to make it right and honor the price they had listed on the screen and listed on the weekly specials sign in front of the registers. I order all the time from then. I'm chronically sick and don't drive anymore. So this is easy. They have online ordering and can pay online. It's more expensive than most places. The past couple times the wraps have very very little meat. I have ordered the turkey avocado wrap. This is the second time there has been no avocado and literally 1 piece of turkey. The company I work for orders at least four days aweek from Primo, Recently we have noticed food orders being delivered wrong or incomplete. I got a chicken salad sub and the sub roll was a little stale. A burger delivered with no bun. And today when I was picking up our order I notice a young man making a Greek Salad with Feta Cheese, He was cutting up the Feta Cheese and using his bare hands scooping up the cheese from the prep counter and putting it into a bowl using NO PREP GLOVES. I have tried Primo Pizza since they have been at their current location at Parker Ave and have seldom gotten what I have ordered correct. We have been more than specific when ordering knowing they habitually screw up, and have left them for long periods knowing this. When we decide to go back they are true to themselves and continue to screw up. Got delivery tonight. Two subs a pizza and a lobster roll. I'm guessing the lobster roll will be better during a more seasonal time but the subs were really good. I got an Italian sub and my husband got a sausage bomb. Both came exactly as ordered and were fresh and delicious. The lobster roll was meh but it is seasonal so I will give it another shot. I have not been here in almost 10 years due to living out of state. I had been excited to See the new Primos building and try their food again and I will say it is quite beautiful but the service is terrible. I hate saying anything bad about restaurant employees because I had worked in this industry and know how difficult it is dealing with customers and being on your feet the whole time. We decided to dine in with my my father, whom order 1 to 2 minutes before us. We had ordered grilled cheese, steak and cheese sub and ziti, which shouldn't had taken very long to be served to our table. My dad received his food within 10mins and others who had order after us (bigger orders and pizza) got their food before us. After 20 mins of waiting I went up to the front to ask where our order was. They couldn't answer and one of the cooks (young lady) came over to me with an attitude saying its on the grill. (Obviously they forgot about our meal or messed up our order. They should of told me and I would had understood and asked to take it to go since our child was being fussy and my dad was done eating. Once I asked them to packaged up the food, I was told by the same young lady... That it was all set and would have been on the table. Our food was cold when we got home minus the fries. (Obviously those were freshly cooked) Unfortunately, I'm am very displeased with how the situation was handled by the staff and hope other customers have or had better experience. Ps.
