Totally in love with this place. The vibe is amazing, very personable. And the food is delicious. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich had a little too many onions on it but I picked them off no big. But the bread was a French roll and toasted, so yummy. I had onion rings as my side and they're onion rings are so crunchy and delicious and they didn't cut up the top of my mouth like most restaurant onion rings do. Our waitress (who I think is the owners wife) was so nice I was with my sister brother in law and niece (who's 3 yrs old) and our waitress was so good with my niece. Made her laugh made her smile kept giving her high fives, even made sure my niece was sitting safely near the table in her chair. I have been coming to Primo's for a few years for a total of about 6 times. The food and service have​ always been good but I only was there for lunch or to-go food. I was looking forward to dinner to celebrate moving back to Rocklin from Roseville with my adult children (four of us) and were seated at 8:40 pm at the very back table; it was the only one open and was right next to the prep area and restrooms; the lights were bright and glaring but we were all hungry. At 8:50 (they close at 9 pm) I asked if we could move to the table near the front that became available after a party of four left. Our waiter asked the girl (manager I assume at the bar who was talking to guests) but she responded "no it is an 8-top". He politely explained that they need to keep it open in case a large party came in (at closing time on a Weds eve and as others were also getting ready to leave). A few minutes later I asked for another empty table and was told "it is not yet clean and you just got your food." I may not be in the restaurant business now but did work as a waitress for 5 years while in college. Back then, we tried to always make the guests happy; this must have changed at least for this restaurant. We also had one beer and a glass of wine and were not asked if we wanted another when dinner arrived or if the food was ok. On the way out I asked the female manager why we were not able to move to another table after asking twice and she said that they needed to keep it open just in case (at almost closing time???). I told her that I was disappointed after spending $110 on dinner. Her response was "oh, I'm​ sorry." Me too.......was looking forward to a nice place to go so close to home! read more

With a group of 6 people, each person was surprisingly very pleased with our individually selected meals. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was excellent! I had the chicken ravioli plate which was very good! The waiter was friendly and memorized all 6 specific orders without making a single mistake. My boyfriend and I recently moved here from the Bay Area, and were looking for a place to eat one night, we heard the place called Primos around the corner (literally around the corner, we walked!) had good food, so we gave em a try and we LOVED it! Pizza was delicious, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. They have a great wine/beer selection as well! We go here at least once a month. Everything we've had has been wonderful, my favorite is the Shrimp Linguini. It's fresh and reasonably priced. A definite must-try in Rocklin! read more

Primos is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants to go to eat, relax, and have a good time. I have never had a bad meal there...my favorite dish is the chicken Parmesan. They do half-and-half with their sauce -half Alfredo and half marinara and the chicken is perfectly prepared. Their pizza is one of my favorite pizza around. The thickness of the dough is perfect with a good amount of toppings and cheese and FLAVOR!! They have a nice bar with lots of beer choices on tap. read more

My wife and I have searched for a local rest. where we can just go out and get a nice salad and a drink. We have found it! We keep going back because the meals are perfect always. They always cook the chicken sandwiches perfect each time and serve them on a great rolls. My 13 yr. old son says "It's the best sandwich I've ever had." The pasta dishes are great and the beer is so cold, ice forms at the top of the glass. It's a small place but we have never had to wait for a table. What a great neighborhood restaurant! They are kid friendly, they have a varied menu with great pizza that reminds me of my youth in new York. Just a really nice atmosphere for a fun dinner out. It can get a bit loud especially during games so if you're not into sports it's probably not your kinda place. I've been several times and will continue. read more
