I'm guessing the bottom of the pizza spatula got a bunch of soot on the side third of my pizza. I would advise not coming here for dinner before 7:00pm. I came here at 6:30 on a Friday night, one would assume the employees were ready for customers. WRONG. There wasn't an ounce of hustle in any one of these employees. There are six people working. And yet not one of them made an effort to greet a single one of the customers currently in the building. It took a solid 5+ minutes for one of the employees to come take our order. Despite the fact that several employees were standing directly in front of us. One guy just walked out because of how long it was taking. Even after ordering we had to stand there and wait for another 5 minutes until it got to our pizzas. I might be incorrect in assuming that customers currently in the building should have priority. The employees made every single online order (without a word mind you) before moving on to the orders of the physically present customers. Now, I understand that online orders do need to be completed in a timely manner. But when there are customers standing directly in front of you and not one of the 6 employees can even bother to say "hello" or even "I will be with you in a second" it's a bit absurd. Perhaps it is because there is no tip option at checkout that the employees choose to be so....antisocial. Despite being paid to you know, do the job maybe? However, once 7:00pm rolled around customers were greeted and helped promptly. So they actually do know what to do, they just seem to be choosing when to do it. I will say, the food here is always good, so at least you can rely on that. You just might have to wait 15 minutes even when it's empty to actually order food. The Hubster and I popped in here, to avoid the traffic, prior to a concert in Wheatland. We have been to like-establishments, but this was our first foray into a Blaze Pizza. We were a little perplexed as to which end to go to as there was no clear signage of where to place an order. Eventually when one of the staff asked if we were there to pick up or order, the pointed us in the right direction. They have plenty of toppings for their make your own salads and pizzas, of which we ordered both. The side salad was a generous amount to share and the thick crust personal pizza gave us enough to take home extra slices. The interior provides ample seating and there is patio seating as well. The staff is polite and friendly and even their restrooms are clean. We love Blaze! It's our go to make your own pizza spot. They have a good variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings. They offer various crust, like gluten free and cauliflower. There were two couples ahead of us and it took them about twenty minutes to finally put our pizza in the oven because they would do probably five online orders between each customer. Despite having a large pizza option, they said they could only do them for online orders, and they refused to let us get it because we were in person. They were fulfilling the large pizza online orders in store, though. Of all the options in the soda machine, they only had two flavors stocked. The entire floor in the drinks area was also covered in water. None of the toppings would stay on the pizza, which left multiple customers around us, including ourselves, scraping toppings off the pan back onto the crust or eating the pizza with forks and knives. October is National Pizza Month You better believe it... I've come here to celebrate their month long party with an 11" 2-topping Pizza & Drink (or Dessert)... all for $10, all month long. Half an 11" pizza is usually enough for me and will last me through dinner. I save the other half for my hubby but when I'm hungry I don't share LoL! Ordering through the app is fast and easy. Most of the time I dine in solo at the restaurant. It doesn't get too busy and I find a quiet corner enjoying my short 30-min lunch away from a computer screen at work. They also have outside seating which now is a nice time to enjoy the outdoor patio when it's not triple digits out there. The pizzas are thin-crust, fast-fired with 35+ fresh toppings to build my pizza. There are five doughs to choose from, five types of sauces... cheese! Nine kinds! And lastly, I finish my pizza with a pesto and buttermilk ranch drizzle. For my drink the Blood Orange Lemonade is my favorite!! Sooo delicious! But I also can't pass up their yummy S'more Pies! Disappointing Experience at Blaze Pizza I hate to write a bad review for businesses, but we had such a a horrible experience this evening. We visited Blaze Pizza tonight around 8:45 PM. With only one person ahead of us in line, we assumed it would be a quick visit. After placing our order, we sat down and waited. Shortly after, the group ahead of us received their food, so we assumed our order was next. We headed to the register to wait, but our name was never called. Fifteen minutes passed, and still no pizza. Frustrated, we sat back down because standing was taking too long. During this time, two other customers who ordered after us received their food. We went back to the register and asked about our order, only to be told by an employee that they "didn't know what happened to it" and claimed they "called our name." Let's be clear: a pizza doesn't just disappear. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right. We had to ask for a refund, which they provided without hesitation--but they didn't offer to remake our pizzas or provide any resolution for the 35 minutes we wasted waiting. We were essentially expected to leave empty-handed. At this point, it was 9:35 PM, and after a 12-hour shift, we were understandably upset. We had to insist that they remake our pizzas, which should have been the bare minimum in this situation. The lack of accountability and poor customer service were shocking. No apologies, no effort to remedy the situation beyond a refund we had to request ourselves. This experience was completely unacceptable. Blaze Pizza needs to seriously re-evaluate how they handle mistakes and treat their customers. read more

The pizzas are great but the service? Lacking. A couple of recent incidents... the first was waiting in short line for a long time. When it was my turn the employee didn't even greet me, just started making online orders from a huge stack. Ending up waiting 20 min to order in a line of 3 people. The second was tonight. I was charged for a large soda and the cashier got out a new bag of small cups. The manager walked by and told him they are out of large. The cashier handed me the small cups without telling me. The pizza here is pretty good but the reason I put one star is because the service here is terrible. I don't want to say it's the workers fault but mostly the company's fault. They don't want to hire enough people because the company wants to save money. We went there a week ago and we had to leave because they were only focusing on online orders and not serving the people inside because they're short staffed. 8.12.23 I came in for the BOGO to get the 2nd pizza free. I received an email and text about this deal and I honestly do NOT eat here that often. I think I ate here 2 or more years ago!! Yesss... it's been THAT long!!! 1st impression back they were very accommodating towards me since I was supposed to order online to get the BOGO deal, but since I don't eat here often nor did I download the app, they were able to apply it on the register before I got the total to pay. Overall it was good. I ordered the VEG OUT for me, I told them no blue cheese and they were nice to remove the 1st one they made for me and redo it again with what I asked. Being that it was my 1st time back after years coming in to order and eat, I was a bit confused at what was what or what was needed or what I could have on it without getting charged extra. They also talked a bit fast so it wasn't so clear half the time what they were asking on what was okay on my pizza. I tried to ask for garlic to be added but it was $2 extra, which I wasn't willing to pay for just for a few garlic, so I told them to exclude that extra topping order and to keep it as is. Their customer service I would give an 8 out of 10, because regardless they still accommodated me and my needs, especially since I addressed to them it was my 1st day back after years of coming in to eat. Plus they were able to honor my discount I showed in my email for the BOGO! On top of the service, their restaurant was pretty clean, their tables and chairs weren't dirty and was presentable to sit down when I came in. Well service here is disappointing as of late! Always loved blaze gone here for years BUT apparently you only get good service if you go in. Disappointing. I ordered my usual order off DoorDash, 2 easy cheese and pepperoni pizzas and a build your own...asked for sides of ranch and extra napkins. The "ranch" that came was BLUE CHEESE and whoever made my pizza SKIMPED on toppings(I got like 2 onion slices and 2 pepperonis), and my "ranch" side that came came USED AND EMPTY. Oh they also put blue cheese on my pizza which I did not order, and I am severely allergic. Business is business and you lost mine unfortunately. Very thin crust and topping were flimsy. When we got our order, the pizza did not look appetizing, to our horror it tasted worse than it looked. We have had various pizzas around the area with the best to use as a comparison is Old Town Pizza which is millions miles better than Blaze.
