He did a shitty job, Suzanne fixed as much as she could and worked with us but this guy left wires in the wall that apparently was the main gfi, that eventually had to be cut out. Then he left a cut out hole in the cabinet above the microwave because he had originally installed them to far to one side and had to be removed and reinstalled and then we still have the cord to the microwave rolled up in the cabinet so you can really only use one side of it. Needless to say working with him was a headache.

I finally did start to slowly receive the documents I needed for approval, but they were not completed properly and missing information (the plumbing permit that was never pulled and a scope of work to list just two). When I spoke with Adam this morning to find out what is going on with the HOA package, I was given an I sent it, what do you want from me type of response. At that, I told him I can't work like this (who could?!). Adam immediately hung up on me. I can't speak to their work product so the moral of my experience is IF you have time to chase them and correct all their mistakes - while also unwisely choosing to not pull permits (Tom and Adam made it obvious they prefer not to use permits) AND if you're ok with your job going from four weeks to four months, PBR is the company for you. Also, everyone I met with told me they were the head of the company so def issues going on within which could explain a lot - too many chef's not enough cooks...

So she gives him a second chance and goes ok you can do the demo. Then he's constantly trying to upsell us. Then when we told him we just want a basic cleaning with out all the add ons he goes ok we can do that now. So we agree, he gets ready and starts pouring all this stuff over my floors. After that my wife tries to verify one more time they accept cards he proceeds to tell us cash only or Zelle. So we go ok so stop we were told cards were accepted. He then cops an attitude and goes no I didn't. We try to explain that not him specifically but the office did when we called. He ignores us and starts packing up to leave. Then he leaves all this stuff on our floors and refuses to tell us what it is like literally a child and ignores our many attempts to ask what it is and how to get it up. He's just a rude dickhead.

Nick came out to give me an estimate, and right away I was impressed with how knowledgeable and straightforward he was. There was no wishy-washiness about pricing or what was needed -- he explained everything clearly and honestly. I told him I wanted my floors done right after my cabinets were installed, and he made sure to fit me into the schedule. Although Nick wasn't the one physically installing the floors, he closely monitored the entire process. Whenever I had a question or concern, he not only answered quickly but also came out in person to make sure things were handled properly. When the installers discovered mold behind the molding, Nick personally went to Home Depot to get the right materials and treated it for me at no extra cost. He even helped with unrelated issues: when the interior door to my garage became misaligned during the process, Nick got tools, tried to fix it himself, and then explained what I needed to do since the springs were old. On top of that, when another contractor I was working with left me in a tough spot, Nick stepped in to connect me with someone reliable to fix the problem. The floor itself looks beautiful -- the quality of both the flooring and the padding is excellent. But what really makes me recommend Quantum Floors so highly is Nick. He is professional, proactive, and truly cares about his customers. While Quantum might not be the cheapest option compared to big-box or "fly-by-night" places, the honesty, service, and results are worth every penny. Lundy was beyond saintly patient and happily made numerous revisions to our design every time we "changed our minds", quickly emailing new renderings and plans. The Tops team were ultra-efficient, responding without delay, showing up on time, despite obviously having a busy schedule with appointments and installations. This from my experience, being from up north, is a rarity in South Florida. Lundy personally accompanied us to Prime Stone's showroom and handled all of the measurements, templates and fabrication for countertops as well.
