Before I got the car, I told my best friend that I'm rushing to get back down to the barbershop for nothing, because everybody else was laughing at me, I said that I would get there and Ryan would say he couldn't do the cut, GUESS WHAT: this silly white boy already knew he wasn't going to get the cut, and Ryan the Barber asked me if I could reschedule for in the morning, I was like sure, what ever, just remember this one thing, I may be a 6' 6" blonde hair Blue eyes man, and this establishment caters to the black population in the area, it's okay you had your laugh at my expense. But lesson learned, I'm glad everyone else has had an epic experience here at Ex-elites barbershop and beauty parlor. It was the most pleasant hair experience I have ever had as well as the most confident I've ever felt with a new hair style! I received a plethora of compliments on my new look from people I interact with weekly basis that took me by surprise! She pays attention to detail and communicates effectively. I decided to be adventurous and ask for bangs and I was so impressed! I know it is just bangs, but she cuts them to give them such versatility to fit my specific needs (from being able to swoop them over when for work, to pin them back for working out to styling them with my glasses for nice events. I also recently finished a make-up lesson with her, and she was so patient with me and made me feel comfortable. I'm in my 30s and have never learned to wear make-up... yes, I know crazy, so you can imagine how much she had to explain things to me. She suggested I take pictures and write down notes which has been super helpful! She definitely does her homework beforehand and goes above and beyond with walking you through both her thoughts and the science behind it. She is a "cut" above the rest!
