The so called #1 hoagie is this terrible Italian
Rebecca S.

This place was bunk. The bread was hard af and the ingredients are not the best. That prosciutto was worse than the packaged stuff you get at the grocery store. I would not recommend. Gave it 2 stars for service, cleanliness and the herrs chips were the winner of the meal.

Got a Corned Beef and Swiss Cheese Hoagie A lot of Corned Beef and Cheese. So Delicious The young man at the counter was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Will Definitely Be Back Across the street from GW High School.

YUM! PrimoHoagies is 12/10. I tried a couple different subs and they were all delicious in different ways !! Truly so many sandwiches to choose from it was hard to decide. There isn't much room to sit inside the store so would recommend take out. Staff was nice and answered all my questions.

The staff is super young, and the welcoming was so enticing. Walking in you had several employees standing around, looking at each other, confused as to who was going to ring me up. I had never been to this place before, so I wanted a little insight on the food, and the cashier didn't ask nor was familiar with most of the sandwiches. I ordered turkey sandwich which was pretty good. Definitely packed on the meat so I would come back and order to go for sure, but dinning In probably never.

Supremo is up top & a half eaten Turkey Diablo. You will NOT regret going to Primos!

Well, unfortunately after 2 attempts to send feedback to corporate & getting 2 error codes(S003) & 30 minutes of writing my disgust, I decided to update my previous review of 5 star to now 1 star. Wife went there today to pick up lunch/dinner for us. She spent over $60 on a whole Roast Beef Schwartzie, a Crusher, and some chips, macaroni salads & 2 desserts. The $31 whole RB Schwartzie only had 5 pieces of Swiss cheese & NO Cole Slaw & the Crusher only had Turkey & Cooper Sharp on it, no Pepper Shooters. Yea, I'm PISSED OFF & now I see why their reviews have gone down quickly in less than a month. I gave 5 stars because the place was packed with trainers, so they made our sandwiches on Opening Day, and now they all left & we're stuck with dopesthat can't make a hoagie with 4 simple ingredients. Plus she drove 40 minutes to get there, never again!!! I'll wait for the Centennial store to open & give them 1 chance. Hopefully they'll sell us the hoagie rolls because I make better hoagies any day of the week! TO THE BUSINESS OWNER: Since you replied & said we should contact the store immediately, perhaps you missed that we're 40 minutes away. What would you have done? It happened on Saturday, it's Sunday, so what are you going to do???

Philly Cheesesteak, Turkey & Cheese, Italian and sample of Meatballs

Primo Hoagies is delicious! Hands down my new favorite lunch spot in the area. They offer so many hot, cold hoagie options. My coworkers and I, tried several hoagies since it was our first visit. Everything we ordered we devoured. Pretty cool that manager offered us some sample meatballs and they are out of this world. We have been back twice since our first visit :)

Italian Hoagie Chips

Superb hoagie! The sharp provolone was a nice touch and I loved the hoagie chips. Didn't expect a giant bag though but I am not complaining since it was the same price as a small bag of chips at most sandwich shops.

It was good but a bit on the pricey side for an okay sub. If I want a fuss free deli fix on the fly, I'll go here.

No matter what you get here, you will enjoy it. I haven't had a bad dish or drink here. Do not skip out on the Per La Tavola (for the table plates). They are all so good. We normally get the Piatti Di Cicchetti (olives, pickled veggies, and almonds), Piatti Di Salumi (prosciutto, salame, coppa), and the Burrata. They all complement each other SO WELL. Pair that with a white wine and you got yourself a time. The 2 course offering for lunch is also phenomenal. I got the Insalata Mista (lettuce, shallot, reggiano) and it's a decent sized salad and very tasty. The Mafaldine (lamb ragu, pecorino romano) is to die for. Such great flavor and the pasta is always cooked perfectly. The service here is always top-notch too. The staff is very well-trained and is on top of everything. Truly a well-oiled machine. The atmosphere here is impeccable too. You can tell that everything was thought of for a great experience: lighting, table layout, decor, etc. It is a great place to bring a significant other, business customers, etc. I cannot wait for my next visit to Tavernetta and I was just there a few hours ago!

We were seated at the front by the window, which was nice. It did get a little hot in the restaurant as more people arrived, since it has been unusually warm in Denver this season. We split six plates and were stuffed by the time the celebratory dessert arrived. We started with the burrata, which paired well with apple butter and pickled apples. The arancini was a fusion of Indian spiced cauliflower with mint-cilantro yogurt raita. My favorite of the Spuntini dishes was the Granchio--jumbo lump crab served over a crispy potato cake with butternut squash and a perfect 63 ° egg. We split two Primi dishes: their special of the day pasta, and the Cappellini Aglio e Olio. The Cappellini was amazing--a perfect blend of Indian spices, breadcrumbs, and another 63 ° egg. Yum. If you love scallops, the Capesante dish is not to be missed. These were some of the sweetest, perfectly prepared scallops I have had.

I got their Insalata ($16) with Rebel Farms greens, Rancho Gordo white lima beans, rolled pork lonza & dill vinaigrette topped with shaved parmesan. The special happy hour sandwich was the Porchetta Sando for $8. Basically a slider. It was so good, I had another. I paired the food with a glass of Spanish Golban Crianza ($7.50!!). A full bodied red wine for porchetta. I decided to treat myself with the Amaro cheesecake and a pour of Lucano Anniversarie, $12 each. Nice cheesecake with chocolate slab on top. The Amaro was not bitter. Including tax & 20% tip, it came to $105. The food was not rushed. The restaurant steadily filled up by 630pm.

The Theatre menu is the way to go for sure. For my first course, I selected the Insalata di Caesar. This is a very large portion of salad so be forewarned but it is also very good, so win-win. For the main course, I opted for the Pollo alla Milanese. Also, a huge plate of food. I was able to make two additional meals from the chicken. The tagliatelle was perfectly cooked and the sauce paired perfectly well with the breaded chicken. Perfetto! For dessert, I had to try the Budino di Caramello. The butterscotch was truly delectable. Starting with my favorite and the absolute knockout: The Dry-Aged Bistecca Agnolotti. Think of a ravioli pouch, but smaller and better, filled with meat, sitting in a bed of the most perfectly browned brown butter with thick parmesan shaves on top. You think it's over, and then your server comes and pours a sweet yet vinegary reduction on top. I'm actively eating it for breakfast as I write this. Insane. Will be thinking about this for a few days. The others in the group got the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which is one of their most popular dishes. It was good (we swapped bites), but mine was better. For the table we split a Caesar (which I do wish had more dressing, but I love a dressing so that could just be me), filet mignon meatballs (4 in an order which was perfect for our group of 4), and the tuna and avocado carpaccio. Favorites were the meat and fish. We used the bread to sop up the meat sauce at the end. Lastly, the Chicken Parm Pizza was ordered for the table. Basically, the "crust" of the pizza is chicken parm. I think it's a little expensive for what it was, but I'm glad I got to try it with a bigger group. Can't imagine reordering it, solely for the size and cost, but it was a unique food experience. Drinks at the table included a Barbera, a Chardonnay, a Sangria, and a Spritz. All good. Overall, service was great, restaurant is beautiful, dishware is pretty, and vibes are sophisticated yet unpretentious.
