Katy was great on the phone when I called to ask some questions, oysters were delicious, wine on tap was yummy, service was great! Happy hour is the time to come! It was busy but the wait wasn't longer than 20.

Great spot for a tasty dinner on the patio! We had a group of 5 on a Friday night and easily got a table outside around 5:30, then it seemed like the place really started filling up after 6. They have great happy hour deals on food and drinks (I ordered the happy hour Caesar salad and it was a good sized portion!). The dinner menu has lots of great options. I loved the ragu di capra with pappardelle. We also shared calamari, gluten-free pizza, and oysters. The calamari has a nice light breading with a sweet red pepper glaze - definitely try this if you like calamari! Would definitely go back for another girls night or date night.

Everything was fantastic!!! From our greeting, thank you Jacob. To the food. To our wonderful server, Olivia. This is a top notch restaurant. Every item on the menu is delicious. Our dishes were spaced out just right so that we were not overwhelmed. Not pictures but we also had charcoal oysters, toasted ravioli, crab cake sliders, and pizza. Definitely recommend. Kudos to Jacob and Olivia for making our first experience memorable.

Decided to come in for the late night happy hour which begins at 9 PM. The ambience is more like a bar when walking in, but they do have a dining room to the left-hand side. We came in for their half dozen oysters, which are only about $1.25 per oyster at night. It was a pretty good deal and I also loved the toppings and sauces that it came with. I felt like these were very fresh. However, I did feel like they could be cleaned a little bit better. The Caesar salad had a great garlic taste, and I would get it over and over again The baked oyster was OK not my favorite The balsamic glazed ribs were a hit at the table and fell off the bone. I would absolutely get these again with such great flavor. Overall, I would come whether it be happy hour or not to try there more extensive menu especially some of the pizzas that we saw come out.

I had such a great dinner at Angelo's Taverna and I'm already planning my next visit. We started with the Mushroom Agnolotti, and it was absolutely delicious, earthy, creamy, and packed with flavor. The pasta had the perfect bite, and the filling was rich and savory without being too heavy. I added chicken for some protein but it felt like a afterthought. It was dry and had no flavor. Not the dishes fault as I added it but definitely not needed. Overall dish felt comforting but still elevated. The Duck Confit Pasta was hands down my favorite. The duck was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. It was indulgent without feeling greasy -- just rich, balanced, and satisfying. And the Lobster Gnocchi? So decadent in the best way. The gnocchi were pillowy soft, and the lobster added that sweet, buttery richness that made the dish feel extra special. The place was packed and we did have a 30min wait time but it was worth it. The vibe is lively and energetic (it can get a little loud), but it adds to the fun atmosphere. If you're craving standout pasta dishes with a cozy, buzzing neighborhood feel, this spot is definitely worth it!

Pretty good! Honestly the best part of this place was the tea happening at the table next to us. The food wasn't super memorable, though it has a story tied to it. We witnessed a couple fist fighting,,, in a scary way. It definitely added to our trip, but didn't super live up to the hype. I liked what I got, and don't have many complaints. Ambiance is nice, and they had a great wine deal as well!

Angelo's has been one of my favorite happy hours for the last few years! I especially love sitting on the patio during a summer night. When I go, I usually get a plate of oysters for the table, the burrata, the sliders, the Caesar salad and the flatbread pizza! Plus, the great selection of wine and a homey chestnut interior are a winner in my book. The service is always top tier, and you truly can't go wrong with any of their menu items. My absolute favorite menu item is their calamari! I have it on my last meal list. A true Denver staple.

I have been here several times over the course of the last 5 years. Food is always very good. We had a large party and they did a good job to accommodate us. The restaurant is always very busy, so get here early! The staff was friendly and we are happy we decided to have our get together here. The fancy Italian salad, was nothing special, the kind of lettuce that no one likes, 4/10. I had the crab-cake slider which had a fishy taste, for $8 I wouldn't order it again 5/10. The arancini was pretty good, I wouldn't say that I loved the tomato sauce but the arancini themselves were cooked and seasoned well 7/10. The green chile ravioli was a nice dish, good flavor and excellent sauce 8/10. Both large 16" pizzas were very good 7.5/10. The tiramisu dessert was a highlight, it was the best thing we had, great flavor and nice portion 9.5/10. We look forward to coming back again in the future. Great spot for pizza.

Amazing ambiance, excellent service and exceptional food! Loved the mushroom agnolotti, the sage butter sauce in this was too good. The mushroom gnocchi salad, the truffle sauce in this was amazing. For the drinks, loved the bergamot spritz, so minimalistic and refreshing! Highly recommend this place!

I haven't been to Angelo's in a few years and it's still just as good as I remember. We got the vodka penne, butternut squash ravioli, and a pepperoni pizza. The vodka penne was hands down my favorite, super creamy and full of flavor. The ravioli was good too, just could have used a little more seasoning. Pizza was classic and tasty. It was busy, like it always is, but everything came out quick and the food is always consistent. I love this spot and their happy hour is definitely worth it.

Took the wife here tonight apart of our valentines bonanza weekend. Food was good ,vibes were great . The wife got the squash ravioli bacon something something which was surprisingly the highlight meal of the night . I got the lobster Nocchi it was a 6.8 at best and we got the mussels and fried ravioli . To drink I had a lemonade pick a dilly or whatever the hell it's called .Had me tow back and it was like 3 ozs of this stuff , my right nipple was going wild! I'm not sure what my wife was drinking but it tasted Smokey, no bueno for me . All an all meal was good, bill total with tip was about 113 . We also had two cokes with lemon .

The Highlights * The Oysters: We started with the oysters, and they were the definition of fresh. Briny, chilled to perfection, and served with a sharp, balanced mignonette that highlighted their natural sweetness. A perfect opening act. * The Pasta & Ravioli: The heart of the meal was a masterclass in Italian comfort. The ravioli featured delicate, handmade pillows of pasta with a rich, velvety filling that melted away instantly. Following that with the pasta dish--cooked to a flawless al dente--the sauces were robust, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. * The Tiramisu: You cannot leave without ordering the tiramisu. It was airy and light, with the perfect ratio of espresso-soaked ladyfingers to creamy mascarpone. It wasn't overly sweet, allowing the deep cocoa and coffee flavors to shine through. The Verdict It's rare to find a place that excels equally at fresh seafood and traditional pasta. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic flavors and a kitchen that cares about the details. I'll be dreaming about that ravioli until my next visit. Not to leave out the service was amazing the place was a true hidden jem

Tbh reserving felt…read moresuper stressful but I guess that kind of the culture nowadays with the rules, credit card down, and showing up on time with a 10min leeway. However, we ended up showing up an hour before our reservation hoping to just get seated and we got in right away. Cassey was our incredible waiter and he made the night very memorable. After learning it was our first time there, he very patiently walked us through the menu and how the restaurant generally worked with serving sizes. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience was great and cozy. We sat on the patio and it was mildly windy but it still felt nice being kept away in a corner of downtown. Starting with the appetizers, you HAVE TO get the burrata with some bread. It's the perfect flavor combination with the texture of the bread crumbs. Absolutely delicious. The salad was also a really great refreshing balance with the heavier burrata and bread. It's such a simple salad with the most amazing flavors of pickled shallots, buttermilk dressing, and Parmesan. They truly have some of the best cheeses ever. For the mains, I got the lobster tagliatelle and my partner got the lamb rigatoni. We also got smashed potatoes to share with cheese. Everything was impeccable. I was hesitant to get the lobster dish because it's such a low chance that a lobster dish is actually going to taste as good because it's a very difficult dish to perfect but I can confidently say it's probably one of the best ones I've had. The tomato base sauce with celery and chile with the lobster is the perfect combination. I do have to say a DISCLAIMER if you're not good with spicy food it's not for you. It has a pretty strong kick throughout the eating process so do not get it if you can't handle spice. Other than that, it's one of the most flavorful seafood pasta dishes I've ever had. I tried my partners lamb rigatoni and they truly perfected the rendering of it in the sauce and it's such a perfect overall dish with a good serving for rigatoni in general. If you're extra hungry, I would get the cheesy potatoes, they are perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and warm on the inside with the perfect amount of cheese and salt flakes. To close the night, we, of course, got the tiramisu which was very well made. Now, I have been to Paris and actually had it with the best cream on earth so it won't top that. However, it is a close second and probably the best I've had in America. I highly highly highly recommend you try it out. The service is impeccable and Cassey was the best company to have around to talk about celebrations, house of dragon, and having a good night. Thanks for making my birthday a great experience!

I especially enjoyed the Motown sound. Lots of windows, both booths & tables were comfy & cushioned. Jack was our server & he was very friendly & attentive. We arrived for Brunch on a Sunday afternoon & the place was busy. We had Cheese Bread with Marinara, Lasagna & Chicken Parmigiana. Our dishes were delicious! The bread was a meal in its self with a really tasty sauce. The lasagna was very good as well but the parmigiana was even better...crispy flavorful chicken. What tied all this together was the scrumptious red sauce used in everything we ate. It was awesome with a spicy kick. This was an amazing meal & I look forward to trying some of their dishes from the dinner menu like the Lobster Ravioli & the Chicken Marsala.

The restaurant has a classic old school Italian rat pack throwback vibe. It's fun and lively and a great place to join friends for dinner. Food here is genuinely delicious. I grew up in a big Italian family and have eaten a lot of Italian food over the years. This is exactly the kind of Italian comfort food I was hoping for. Super flavorful and delicious dishes that won't disappoint. We tried the Gnnochi Salsicia, Lobster Ravioli, Tasty Treats and lasagna (always kind of hesitant to try a lasagna or spaghetti) and all of them were amazing. The Lobster Ravioli and Gnnochi were probably the table favorites and were genuinely two of the best dishes I've had at an Italian food spot in a long time. Absolutely plan to make this a regular stop moving forward!
