I went to Tavernetta for my birthday and made a reservation a week in advance. Tbh reserving felt super stressful but I guess that kind of the culture nowadays with the rules, credit card down, and showing up on time with a 10min leeway. However, we ended up showing up an hour before our reservation hoping to just get seated and we got in right away. Cassey was our incredible waiter and he made the night very memorable. After learning it was our first time there, he very patiently walked us through the menu and how the restaurant generally worked with serving sizes. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience was great and cozy. We sat on the patio and it was mildly windy but it still felt nice being kept away in a corner of downtown. Starting with the appetizers, you HAVE TO get the burrata with some bread. It's the perfect flavor combination with the texture of the bread crumbs. Absolutely delicious. The salad was also a really great refreshing balance with the heavier burrata and bread. It's such a simple salad with the most amazing flavors of pickled shallots, buttermilk dressing, and Parmesan. They truly have some of the best cheeses ever. For the mains, I got the lobster tagliatelle and my partner got the lamb rigatoni. We also got smashed potatoes to share with cheese. Everything was impeccable. I was hesitant to get the lobster dish because it's such a low chance that a lobster dish is actually going to taste as good because it's a very difficult dish to perfect but I can confidently say it's probably one of the best ones I've had. The tomato base sauce with celery and chile with the lobster is the perfect combination. I do have to say a DISCLAIMER if you're not good with spicy food it's not for you. It has a pretty strong kick throughout the eating process so do not get it if you can't handle spice. Other than that, it's one of the most flavorful seafood pasta dishes I've ever had. I tried my partners lamb rigatoni and they truly perfected the rendering of it in the sauce and it's such a perfect overall dish with a good serving for rigatoni in general. If you're extra hungry, I would get the cheesy potatoes, they are perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and warm on the inside with the perfect amount of cheese and salt flakes. To close the night, we, of course, got the tiramisu which was very well made. Now, I have been to Paris and actually had it with the best cream on earth so it won't top that. However, it is a close second and probably the best I've had in America. I highly highly highly recommend you try it out. Had dinner reservations for two, and was delighted that the table was ready when we got there. Everyone was super friendly and service was good. We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. My husband and I dined in for our anniversary this past weekend and it was phenomenal! It was also our first time here. From the moment we walked in to when we left, everyone was so friendly and attentive. The hostess to manager to server all acknowledged it was our anniversary. Even the menus had a little "happy anniversary" typed on it! It's the little details that make the biggest impact. We had the burrata and half order of bread, delicious. Next up was the crudo. I loved the unexpected freshness and color from the rhubarb. My husband got the tagliatelle and I got the garganelli. Both were delicious. We ended up switching plates halfway through. We also got a side of grilled rapini. Very tasty, a little difficult to cut. To round out the meal, we finished with the affogato, mmm delicious. Well after YEARS of wanting to come here, we finally did... thanks to having the CSR card #iykyk We started with the burrata and I can honestly say I never knew burrata could taste that good. It was hands down the best thing we had and some of the other items we ordered were amazing too. If you're going to order anything here, do the burrata with the focaccia bread. You can thank me later. Next up, we had the carpaccio and crudo with caviar. If I had to choose only one, I would pick the carpaccio but the crudo with caviar is great. Freddie recommended the crudo with caviar and what a wonderful harmony of flavors. These were both standout winners. And the carpaccio meat was incredibly soft. Best carpaccio I've ever had, and I love carpaccio. Last, we had the paglia e fieno (rabbit ragu) and branzino. The branzino was the item I was most excited to try leading to our reservation and it was the item I liked the least. I am a huge branzino fan and order it any place that has it. This was probably my least liked branzino I have had. The olive sauce was just way too strong for this fish. The fish itself was beautiful but I couldn't get past the sauce. I would pass on this, even if you like olives. The rabbit ragu really surprised me and it was my 3rd favorite thing we ordered. I would definitely order that again. We passed on dessert since we were full and nothing sounded too good. We did valet at the hotel next door. I immediately told my friends this was one of the best Denver restaurants we've had. FIVE STAR food, service and experience! We absolutely loved our family style dinner at Travernetta in Denver! We were a party of 8 plus a baby and sat at the chef's table. Clara, the sommelier was very helpful and paired some amazing Italian wines with our meal! She checked on us regularly and was a delight to work with. Freddy was our main server and he hustled around our table all evening, helping us with perfect meal selections to share as a family, from appetizers to pastas to mains and desserts too! My daughter and I were flying into Denver for a few days visit. While on the airplane, I booked us dinner at Tavernetta. We got held up at the airport and picking up our vehicle and there was no way we were going to make our reservation time. We called the restaurant and the friendly hostess secured us another reservation for that evening. We arrived for our reservation about 10 minutes early and we're greeted by the lovely hostess, who welcomed us warmly and let us know that our table was ready. The lady who took us to our table was very friendly and made polite conversation on the way. Let me say... This restaurant is stunning! Beautifully decorated and the open kitchen is gorgeous! Our waitress greeted us promptly and explained the menu and took our drink orders, which arrived quickly. We encountered many different staff at our table and it seemed like everyone was working as a cohesive team. After reading the yelp reviews, we knew we absolutely must try the burrata and focaccia. The reviews were spot on - they both were so delicious and complimented each other well. My daughter ordered the mushroom pasta and I ordered the Lamb Ragu pasta and we ordered the grilled zucchini to share. From the drinks to our appetizer to our pasta entrées everything was timed perfectly. Both pasta dishes were cooked to al dente perfection and the zucchini was the perfect accompaniment. While the portion sizes were maybe just a tad on the small side, I wouldn't expect different at a fine dining restaurant and honestly, neither one of us could finish! Showed up at the door hoping for a seat at the bar or lounge area while my car was parked temporarily at the valet. Super nice and might add, very accommodating host explained that all of the seats are taken and nect one will be a hour away. However, the sister restaurant next door called Sunday Vinyl will open soon and we might be able to get a seat. Went back to the valet, signed in and went back to the Tavernetta and waited there till the other restaurant opened up. That's about 15 minutes to go. While happily waiting, the host told us that he can rearrang current reservation and seat us but need to be done by 6 pm which is still an hour and half to go. We gladly took the offer. He seated us by the fireplace which was perfect on chilly evening. Turned out to be the best table in the restaurant. "Buon appetito!" Our waiter came over right away and introduced himself as Ryan (Hope I got that right) and explained the HH menu and the highlight of the night. He went over the drink menu and I told him that the main reason I was here was to try red wine out of the fancy wine glasses they had. He said HH reds at $9 was served on different glasses. I was bit bummed out but was gonna order whatever necessary to hold on to that wine glasses. However, he, right away said will arrange the HH wine to be served on that wine glass I was after. Bravo! With his recommendation, we got the focaccia bread which was served warm with Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Grana Padano dipping sauce, Insalata Mista and calamari. I was on the phone and didn't get to finish right away but Ryan checked on us frequently to make sure timing was perfect to bring the pasta we also ordered. Between Ryan and another server, we were very well taken care of, checked often and the table kept super clean. Superb! Once I was done with the salad, the Roman Pasta flight came out. We originally had a later reservation through their OpenTable system but wanted to come in earlier, so I messaged them there and they responded promptly, accommodating us without any issue. Parking was easy with a nearby garage, and you get $5 off when you validate at the restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed yet elevated Italian dinner, especially with a small family. It is a popular restaurant with a mix of couples, friends, and business diners, but it never felt overwhelming. We ordered individual dishes and shared everything family-style, following our server's recommendations. To start, Ryan suggested ordering the carpaccio, burrata with focaccia, and crudo together for the full trifecta experience. Tavernetta has been on my list for quite some time, so when a reservation opened up on my birthday I jumped on it. My husband and I started with the focaccia and the capesante (scallops). The focaccia was AMAZING, but I was a little disappointed by the scallops. I'm a big scallop fan and these were slightly overcooked and chewy. But the mains definitely made up for the scallop disappointment. I had the rigatoni while my husband ordered the manzo. Both were very flavorful and his steak was cooked perfectly! Our server took the time to mark up a menu with dairy-free options for my partner, which was very kind. I started with the capesante (diver scallops). With only 2 scallops, it did feel a little pricey at $14 per scallop. The scallops could have been a bit more tender, but the flavors were nice. I would skip this one if I were to dine here again. I got the pappardelle with guinea hen and chanterelles. I loved this dish. The pasta was very al dente, and all the elements and the pangrattato (breadcrumbs) worked perfectly together. My partner got the manzo (NY strip), without the zabaglione to make it dairy-free. The steak comes medium rare unless otherwise requested, and was nicely cooked. The vegetables from Esoterra were delicious. My partner also enjoyed his drinks, and felt Tavernetta's old fashioned was his favorite so far. I ended the meal with the torta di mele. The cake was interesting and was lightly flavored with a creamy base. The apple and walnut caramel was delicious, especially paired with the thyme gelato. Huge door awaits you to a wonderful world full of class, service, and quality. Huge bar in the middle of the restaurant, seating all around with kitchen located in back corner. Simple, effortless decor that pulled everything together. Servers were knowledgeable with the menu and GF substitutions, timing out plates, and effortless high class service. Forgot to take photos but everything was exponential. You can just taste the quality, freshness and flavor but to feel full would highly suggest get a couple appetizers and or dessert with an entree (as the entree pasta was on the smaller side). This place was recommended to us by a local, so we went based on that and made a reservation. Even with the reservation, we still had to wait about 15 minutes, which was frustrating. Service honestly felt really slow overall. It took a while for our server to come by initially, and even throughout the meal it felt like she took a long time to check on us or even take our order. I've had the chance to dine at Tavernetta on a couple of occasions, and it's consistently excellent. One visit was during a springtime private event with Joe Flamm as the featured chef. He won Top Chef in Denver and was back in town for the evening, which made the experience extra special. He came by a few tables to say hello, and it was genuinely great to see him. I've also dined here when Cody Cheetham was leading the kitchen another incredibly talented chef with serious training and skill. The pasta here is wonderful rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. I don't usually like to leave negative reviews, but when you dine at a restaurant of this level--especially in a Four Seasons--you naturally have high expectations. Out of everything we ordered, the carpaccio was the highlight. It was good--pleasant and well-prepared--but not particularly memorable. The risotto, unfortunately, were the most disappointing. The texture was very loose, almost like a cheese soup, and both people who ate them ended up with stomach discomfort afterward. The short rib pasta was decent, enjoyable but not outstanding. As for the focaccia, it wasn't our favorite, but we chose not to return it because the staff was genuinely kind and attentive, and we didn't want to make a scene. I do want to emphasize that the service was excellent. Everyone was warm, professional, and very welcoming throughout the meal. Good portion size, just enough without being excessive. Just an aside, but I was really hoping they would offer freshly grated parmesan and fresh pepper but sadly they did not. Dessert: Affogato-- freshly poured espresso, on top of honey gelato, served with an almond biscotti. The honey gelato was stunning, however the espresso was definitely more on the bitter side. Wow! What a great place to celebrate my birthday! Server was super knowledgeable on their dishes. I would go back just for their Baratta. Super creamy, excellent flavor, first time I had it and I loved it!! The focaccia bread was a bit too dense for me, but still great with the barratta. We had the pasta dishes: rigatoni, baked pasta, the spring gnocchi, and the gluten free spiral pasta (see the pics for the menu names). Side: cauliflower. First time dining at Tavernetta, and it won't be the last. This is the Denver outpost from the folks behind the James Beard-recognized Frasca Food & Wine in Boulder--and it shows. Tavernetta leans into Italian classics, with dishes inspired by regions across Italy, led by Frasca veterans wine director Carlin Karr and chef de cuisine Cody Cheetham. Maybe the coolest part of the night? We were escorted through the kitchen to our table. You don't get that kind of behind-the-scenes energy at most restaurants. It felt like a VIP moment--and a great way to kick off the evening. We started with their warm, house-baked Focaccia--simple, salty, herby perfection. Then came the Carpaccio alla Cipriani, and I still don't understand how they slice it that thin. Melt-in-your-mouth beef, drizzled just right, and plated with intention. For mains, I went with the signature Branzino: flaky, buttery, perfectly crisped skin. It sat on a bright, lemony sauce that brought it all together. My guest had the Rigatoni--comforting, rich, with a tomato sauce that clung to every ridge of pasta like it was born to be there. We also shared the Carote--a side of roasted carrots that were anything but basic. Sweet, tender, kissed with char, and topped with a nutty crumble and some kick. What a wonderful restaurant. This place is 100% about the experience, the ambiance, the presentation. The food obviously is delicious, but it unfortunately is the type of place you are hungry 1 hour later. But I feel that's most fancy restaurants. I got the scallops appetizer and salad. Both were tasty, the scallops only come with two, so everything on the menu as a word of caution is very expensive for portions but the level of detail is on point. Also got the squash pasta and fish and it was delicious. I'd say flavor was just incredible. The service you could tell was very polished, she knew everything about the menu, and talked so passionately you knew no matter what you got was going to be good! Overall amazing, just very expensive, but worth it for a treat! read more

Came back for happy hour (couldn't get a better reservation time) - luckily we're were starving because the food was again delicious, tried salad, burrata, focaccia, meatballs, and the pasta flight (4 total).
