The Ridgeland location has gone down - way down. Price for the breakfast food is too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. If quality improved, price might be OK. Today, the grits were so salty I could not eat them. The biscuit was so hard that it crumbled and was not even soft in the middle. The two measly strips of bacon were so small that the plate looked sparse when brought. Initial thoughts, "I paid $8.00 for this?" The quality of the food at the Ridgeland location is hit and miss. Ordered and paid for a birthday cake in person a week in advance. Went to pick it up and they said they did not make it. Not that they lost the order. Just did not make it. Was offered cake out of the freezer. Which means all of their cakes must be frozen. So disappointed. Lost all of our future business. read more

Two of us were there for lunch yesterday and he had the Friday Blue Plate Special (catfish) with fried green tomatoes. I had a cheeseburger and both meals were really good. It's all great at Primos. From gumbo to grits ... From breakfast to an incredible Reuben. I usually avoid restaurants with such a wide variety of food (assuming no one can do it all well), but Primos pulls it off. Highly recommended. read more

Worked here for about 2 years. Known for their delicious desserts as well as serving breakfast all day Monday through Saturday and daily blue plate specials. They have various coffee selections as well and the atmosphere is quaint but can get busy during peak hours. If you're here on vacation or just in town for a few days or need a new spot for coffee, some breakfast or comfort food then head on over here to Primos in Ridgeland or the one in Flowood off Lakeland Drive you won't be disappointed. read more

I visited Jackson for a bit, and stumbled upon Primos. I wasn't sure what to order, and tried the special. It was amazing. It was fairly priced and I really enjoyed it. Overall, I would recommend Primos without hesitation. The servers were very friendly and the food was very good. I will be back as much as possible. read more

The parking lot was full of cars so we decided to stop by for breakfast. Seriously, the line was out the door. Well, that's because you have to place your order with the cashier before taking your seat. Once we got in there was quite a few tables available. We ordered omelets with cheese grits. No soy or almond creamer for coffee, but other than that, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice and clean. read more

This is my second visit, I'm sure it will be my last. The 1st visit had turkey and dressing it was cold. I live 1.2 miles from the ridgeland location. Tonight I ordered chicken fried steak squash casserole and green beans it was cold. I waited to order when I got there because I had an issue before with the temperature of the food on the 1st visit. I also had a slice of cake on the last visit it was dry I think they may want to go and inspect what they are serving. It's not good at all the green beans were cold and tasted as if they opened a can of beans and poured them in the plate. I purchased 2 lunch plates yesterday ( meatloaf & chicken pot pie) the chicken pot pie tasted like the sauce came out of a can. I called today to complain that my food was disgusting and the lady said that no one else complained and she was SORRY I DIdNT like it ! Worst customer service and rude at that. Whatever you do "Don't order the nasty , over salted , metallic tasting chicken pot pie"! Maybe they will cut it out of their menu so they don't waste (STEAL) someone else's money that can't handle the oversalted high blood pressure food! I've been going there since Mrs. Anne Primos was alive ( bless her) and have never had a food problem unresolved the few times in 40+ years . I'm super angry about the whole experience . read more

I frequent this location bc of convenience only. For years now it is hit or miss on coffee and breakfast food. Not sure what happened to management/ownership.... thankfully this morning the nice lady at the front offered to make us oatmeal after the 4th straight time I have been here and they are out of oatmeal... for that I give it 3 stars. Lakeland however is much better. I hope the new one coming to Madison which will be closer to me can maintain. read more

I love Primos! I eat here almost once a week for lunch. I always get the Tiger wrap! The to go ordering is so fast! When I pick up my meal I usually get a cup of coffee and a pecan and fudge cookie! I like several of their baked treats, and the box of cheese straws are great to bring to the office. Thank you Primos for always being fast, friendly, affordable, and delicious. read more

Primos catered my daughters wedding. The food and the cakes, all of it was great. They even delivered. The guys that delivered were oh so nice. I realy think that you can't beat Primos. read more
