Today I went and picked up a pair of cheesesteaks for my coworker and I as a recognition for her efforts. Primos was very quick and the food came out hot and delicious. The standard cheese here is white American but I opted for the standard provolone (I actually prefer cheese whiz but that's not an option here). The drive they is a little sketch but the quality went into the food, at least for these sandwiches. For the price I feel like the cheese steaks could have come with a few fries or some other side. read more

Even on the busiest of nights, Primos Pizza food is hot and made to order! Call ahead give them your name, number and what you'd like. Usually the turn around time is very reasonable, even for a Friday night. You can drive up to their "To -Go" window, give them your name and go from there. This was a light night with just a personal size white pizza and 6 garlic Parmesan wings. Primos seem to always have friendly, quick service when I've gone. I absolutely love their food. We have never had a bad experience when it comes to food. Yes, parking can be inconvenient, but it doesn't deter us from going there to pick up food. How does this place have a 4.0 rating? Atmosphere is gross. It is in some tiny old home with barely 5 tables. They made us sit under a loud tv so we couldn't talk to each other. There were at least 15 random people walking in and out of the kitchen. It was shady as all can be. The food itself was nothing amazing. I seriously hate giving them a 1star cause the food is amazing I drove over 40 minutes to get the pizza . But the women at the counter the older lady is absolutely awful . I called to place my order was so rude on the phone all o said was hello and she said " I'm the only person here give me a minute " ok no problem then when she says go ahead I ordered cut me off told me omg I'm alone give me a sec did this about three times . After I finally got my order in she told me total and said bye hung up I never got a word in . Ok so drove to get my food there wasn't any customers in there as soon as I walked in told me to hold on she's busy and only person working . Was just strange and rude . Finally took my payment I told her she was being very rude for no reason . Then she followed me out side and cussing acting crazy . I unfortunately won't be back . As an African American in the 50's and 60's we may have been use to getting overlooked and lack of service. I have came to this place for years over a decade and have never felt so under appreciated as a customer until my recent visit. I walked in to pick up my order was never acknowledged. stood there for minutes then the owner Sal sees the line walks right past me and asked the white man if he can help him. then his daughter walk out and says have you been helped I said no I was standing here as the first person in line as was passed up for the whit man behind me. she than stated oh he may not have saw you then I said sure good my food stated I will not come back and as I'm walking out the door the daughter made a very nasty face behind my back like I can't see her reflection through the door. long story short Sal only sees white.. read more

I tried to order online & couldn't because they were using a third party company & I just am not comfortable with this. Plus, I like my money to go directly to the small business owners. So, I called Primos directly. I told the lady I wanted to place a pick-up order. She asked me for my order & kept repeating it incorrectly, asked me numerous times to go back over the order... it was obvious she was very distracted while she was taking my order. After the 5th time of getting things mixed up. I told her that I wasn't interested in placing my order there anymore & hung up. Well, she called me back, apologizing, saying it was very busy there & asked if I still wanted to order. I ordered & she had to check with the kitchen when we should pick this up. I asked if they still have a drive-thru pick up & she said yes they do. The hubs went & picked up the order. Their drive-thru is blocked by cars. He went in & picked up our order, brought it home & they had forgotten to put the dessert I ordered in the bag. I called & told them. She apologized & said "How do you want to handle this; come pick it up?" I told her I'd like it delivered since they messed up. Back to the kitchen she goes. She returned & said the "Owner said they can't do that because they are too busy. We can get your name & you can get a free dessert when you order next time or credit you $5." I said give me a free dessert? I paid for it already! You aren't giving me anything!" She took my name & I can get the dessert that I paid for the next time. Not a happy customer. Great first visit. I ordered a small veggie calzone and shepherd's pie to go. Al was the baker & assembly, very informative and friendly. You can get the calzone with or without garlic butter brushed over it (I vote with.). Both come with sauce on the side. Calzone was $12 and stuffed with fresh tomato, black olives, onion, pepper, mushroom. Unfortunately the entire bottom of the calzone was burned black. Better on the calories but a mess to eat, picking off the bottom. I would not order a calzone again--too much dry dough and too high risk for them burning it. Shepherd's Pie is a popular $6 M,W,F only item. Huge piece "deep dish". Will update when I try it tomorrow! They're closed Sunday. They deliver in 5 mile radius for $4 and $15 minimum. Extensive pasta menu--all made fresh, not frozen. Philly cheese steak looked delish too. YUM. Be careful in the parking lot! Went to Primos to get our favorite calzone. Ordered over phone and told no garlic butter. Stressed it twice! Get home with order and it has garlic butter on it. Called and conplaned nd they want us to go there to pick up. Hell no! I am not waisting my gas to come get another one. The girl was rude and obnoxious and disrespectful to us on the phone. I'll start off the reason why they received 2 stars. I have had this pizza when someone else has ordered it, and it was really good. Unfortunately, I haven't had the same experience. I unsuccessfully made the attempt to order a pizza here 4 times. 1 online and 3 times by phone. I spent 15 minutes trying to call them because my first experience was good. The first time I called and it rang until I was disconnected. The second time I hung up after about 10 rings. The third time I contacted them and was immediately greeted by a woman who sounded too busy to even introduce the pizzeria I was calling. All she said was, "I'm busy, can you wait?" They seemed surprised they had to bring it out to our car. When we got home, we opened our pizza only to find a pizza with minimal red sauce, lots of black olives and canned mushrooms. There was not one pepperoni on the entire pizza. We called and told them and they defended that they put the pepperoni under the cheese. They defended that there was pepperoni on the pizza. Honestly I know what a pepperoni looks like and there was not ONE on the entire pizza. The pizza was basically dough with cheese, black olives and canned mushrooms. No sauce. No pepperoni. The woman in the front with glasses will insist you're uber eats and start arguments when you try to tell her the situation. it took 15 minutes for her to understand i did not need a menu and that i was delivering for a customer! Then she had an attitude and talked foul about me in-front of my face to the cook. Then she told me i had to go to my car or leave to wait 45 minutes for the order to be ready. If I could give them no starts I would. We used to go there all the time, then we ordered a small calzone from a girl on the phone with extra meat for $18.71 but got bread and cheese filled. We complained and brought back over half of the calzone but the old Italian man said that is what we ordered, but we have the receipt to prove what we ordered. The owner really cares that you have a good experience and is genuinely friendly without being over the top - and his great attitude seems to have rubbed off on his employees. if I'm going during lunch I always order at least 20 min ahead of time, the place is just crazy busy with a line out the door - yes, its worth it. If you're a newbie, there are two things you should know that only apply during common dining dining hours: (1) The Parking lot is tiny, I'm talking itty-bitty small ...and because this place is so good there is never anywhere to park, so try to pile all your friends in the same car. (2) The available seating is even worse than the parking lot so don't count on finding a place to sit your bum. Come before 11 or after 12:30 to avoid these two hassles. Wow! Delicious pizza in a warm, familial atmosphere. Although we were tourists, we were treated to friendly, welcoming conversation by the owners, a charming couple. We went to Primo's on the recommendation of our hotel bartender, and we sure are glad we did! After looking over the many tempting menu choices, we decided to split a white pizza. It was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. For dessert we had the cannoli. Although we were stuffed, they were irresistible -- by far the best either of us had ever had (and one of us is Italian).
