My son's favorite place in the joinery. We always get the cheese pizza and my son devours it. It's a kid's cheese pizza so it comes with a drink and it's quite big. I would be full off that pizza. It's a pretty thin crust and has oily cheese (which is how I love pizza.) We've never had extra to bring home. This place is part of the Joinery, which means everyone can order from a different place, which is fun. This is more a review for myself that every time we come to order a kids cheese pizza and expect my eldest to eat 3/4 of it. read more

Another 1 star for this place. My wife wanted to give this place another chance after our last visit around a week ago. Went and stood at the counter where there were 0 customers and the staff just blatantly ignored us. The least they could've done was say they'd be right with us but nothing. After a couple minutes of them working like sloths on someone else's pizza they came to the register and said it would be 40 minutes. Thanks for letting us know while we twiddled our thumbs. This place is full of unprofessional and incompetent workers. Avoid this place at all costs, go to the more reasonably priced, never out of sauce, friendly and fast service palace pizza that's 0.4m away. They have literally never let us down. Edit for update: We left Ava 23 minutes ago, WALKED around lake mirror to get to palace pizza as I mentioned in my original review. We waited in line that was almost out there door, sat down, and had our food in 23 minutes, for a much more reasonable price, friendly service, and delicious. We could've went to Ava and back and ordered again in the time it would've taken Ava to make our order we wanted. Again, please avoid at all costs, go somewhere better. We (myself, my two daughters and my nephew) got pizza while the rest of our family got other options. I shared the margarita and cheese pizzas with my girls and my nephew ate the cheeseburger pizza. We got three larges and when all was said and done there were only two pieces of cheese pizza left between the four of us. The bottom of my daughter's cheese pizza was super black on the first round but they remade it for her no questions asked which was nice. That way she was able to eat some crust instead of just picking off the cheese which is what I saw her doing before I saw that the bottom was all black. read more

OKAY, 5 STARS for the chicken bacon ranch pizza!!! I don't eat pizza often, and I prefer my pizza thinner and less greasy. I also love a personal sized pizza, so this was everything I wanted and more. I LOVED everything about this pizza. I thought it tasted delicious, the crust was great, and the ranch drizzle was the perfect amount for me. I have NO NOTES! This location is inside The Joinery, and I ordered about 12:15pm on a Friday. Wish I would have read the reviews before ordering...pizza was gross. Crust severely undercooked, pools of water from the mushrooms...WAY too much cheese...no flavor. They take the approach that instead of giving a white pizza that tastes good, we will put out a mound of cheese on a severely lacking crust and call it good. Service was friendly, wait was reasonably, workers knew how long the pizza would take and let you know. (You also got a buzzer.) Loved the flavors of the prosciutto and goat cheese on the pizza. Love the wood-fired. Didn't love that the ingredients didn't go to the end of the crust, that it was one slice of prosciutto for the whole pizza or that parts were blackened. Pretty tasty pizza! Not the absolute best but definitely a solid lunch option. None of the pizzas on the menu were calling to me so I decided to create my own pizza & went with a margherita pizza with prosciutto. It took a little time but I understood that since they use the wood fire oven to cook them. The prosciutto was so yummy. I wish it had a little more on the top but I also understand it's a fairly expensive ingredient. They did charge an extra $3 to add that, so in theory it should balance out. The crust was fluffy and perfectly cooked imo. I added some red pepper flakes and parm to help enhance the flavor, but I do that basically everywhere - I've found they all need a little spice! Ok, well it's printed here in front of me and it's on your website. So she walks away. Im thinking she went for more cups to restock because she only gave me one cup and I still had to pay. Next thing I know a guy takes over and I'm paying, he hands me the second cup and the lady comes back and is very upset. She starts to mumble under her breath and saying something and I caught a slight bit but truly thought she was talking to the manager, until she looked at me and said "imma bust you in your Mother F**king mouth" to which I replied, are you talking to me? And she (mind you this is an employee) looks and threatens to kill me and my friend. The manager then told her to leave. I looked at her and said wait, you are this mad over a kids pizza? I was baffled. Truly no other encounter occurred. I hadn't a clue she was even upset much less at me, and just WHY? Also, turns out the kids pizza is not $12 as it says on the menu, it's $13 and $3 for pepperoni so it's $15 and a small pep is $14. I truly don't even know what about this would make her so mad. Pizza or not, you can have the best pizza in the world (which it was not) but no one in any establishment deserves to talk lIke this. I was surprised to see a low rating. The Bestia was so delicious. With all the ricotta and mozzarella, you get that eye-watering cheese pull. The spicy sausage paired perfectly. The only recommendation, and it's a small one, is to use sourdough for the crust. The margarita pizza was also delicious. I added some pepperoni, and it was cooked just right. I've been here 3 times and and have hated it every single time. They have salad on their menu but never actually have it. Always "sold out". This 3rd recent visit was probably the worst. They were out of a lot of ingredients. And they couldn't seem to get it together in terms of taking the pizzas out of the oven on time. Burning the crust for a lot of people. I ordered a gluten free Hawaiian pizza. I have no idea why it cost $23. It wasn't good. They could have cooked the crust a bit more. It was so flimsy and it was cold. They weren't texting me to let me know it's ready. I saw the pizza waiting to be sliced on some little counter in the back. But I guess it wasn't a priority and was getting cold. Pizza is great! However, don't take advantage of the virtual order app that all over the venue. You are put to the back of the line. My sister in law ordered her pizza 20 minutes after we did on site and got her order 30 minutes before us.
