    Sabu Ramen for lunch!
    Kate M.

The Joinery is such a cute food hall in downtown Lakeland located on Lake Mirror that has different eateries to choose from, a full bar, and a craft cocktail bar. It has plenty of inside and outside seating depending on what you are feeling!!! Some of the food options include pizza, ramen, tacos, burgers, bbq, and ice cream. Today I went with Sabu Ramen. I did the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was so flavorful and tasty!!! The pork was cooked to perfection and was so so tender. I love all of the different food options so everyone in our party could get what they were in the mood for. Can't wait to come back and try something else!

Great atmosphere with a wide variety of food options to satisfy every craving. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The seating area was clean, and the lively vibe made it a fun place to dine with family and friends.

I'm a big fan of good food halls, so finding out there's one less than an hour away from me was great to discover. Now, whenever I have one of those rare off days and want to get out of Tampa for a bit, I know I can just hop on the freeway and stop by.

The place was nice and cozy. They have ample seating indoors and outdoors. We went here on a Sunday afternoon before the dinner rush. So there were a lot of seats available. They have different food choices available. They have ramen, sushi, burgers, pizza, ice cream and more. My husband got the miso ramen and it was good. I had the quesabirria taco and it was delicious. We had ice cream for dessert and it was also good. Although it's quite a drive from where I live I would definitely come back.

My husband and I have been to a lot of food halls, and this might just be the best! It has a great vibe and is decorated well. There's something for everyone there, but we went with tacos and a burger and tries. The food was delicious and decently priced, unlike most food halls. Our food was ready within 5-15 minutes. We would return!

A cute little food hall! Came here after work just to check it out. They actually have a bunch of different vendors to choose from that include tacos, poke, ramen, and more! I only got a few things but it tasted great! It definitely got busy on a Friday evening but it never got too crazy and I didn't have to wait too long for my food. Everything was kept clean and seemed well maintained. There's also plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. It's a super comfortable and welcoming space. It also has a beautiful view of the lake where you can go for a walk before/after your meal. A great place to meet up with friends or just grab a bite to eat!

I have seen this lace while walking round Mirror Lake in several occasions but failed to give it a try. Today we had a group and needed an option that offered a variety. The Joinery was perfect. Lots of wrong inside and out. A variety of choices s one had a burrito from a taqueria and had Japanese street food and I had a poke bowl from another. You order at the counter of each and then they text you when it is ready. Really neat location with lots of seating.

This has become our favorite halfway spot to meet up with Orlando friends when we drive from Tampa. Drink and food options are both excellent and it's just an awesome spot to hang out. We always get drinks from the bar. They have an awesome selection of craft beer as well as cocktails. The bartenders are friendly and allow you to sample. I haven't gotten to try all of the food vendors, but I love the Tonkatsu ramen from Sabu and the pizza from Folds. Great pricing and options all around. Highly recommend for your Lakeland stop.

The ramen was absolutely amazing their was a drop left. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

This place is amazing so many options to choose from. Self serve the atmosphere was really cool. My Ramen was so good there wasn't a drop left. I would definitely recommend coming here. I will be back when I am in town again.

The location, the food vendors, the plentiful seating, the micro-brewery and the service combine to provide a very pleasant experience for singles, those on a date, and families. My wife and I chose The Joinery since Lakeland is the approximate halfway point between Orlando and St Pete where our niece was traveling from to meet us, and because of all the great reviews from fellow Yelpers. Even though we arrived around the time considered a late lunch, the place hummed with the plentiful number of people. We ordered a veggie pizza from Ava (wood-fried Neapolitan-styled), grilled mojo chicken and fried cauliflower tacos from Gallito Taqueria, chicken karaage from Sābu, and the Shrimp Volcano Roll from Zukku. All the food was good and satisfying. Each kiosk used a method of contacting us when the food was ready - a text to our cell phone, a device that buzzes, and a "hey you" as you walk by (true story). We didn't try the other vendors, but given more time and money and a larger stomach, I probably would have. The Joinery selected its food and beverage options well, in my opinion. Misc: As mentioned before, plenty of seating options are available inside and out. Parking in their space was no problem. Events can be booked here. Lastly, a walk around Lake Mirror across the street can be a fun time to spend after the meal at The Joinery.

"El jefe" their version of an espresso martini. Made with real espresso. Delicious!

Such a cute little food hall right in downtown. All it's missing is a little coffee shop. There's pizza, ice cream, a bar, 2 Asian places, a sandwich place and bbq. It's small and quaint but decorated cutely with plenty of table seating. The staff working there were so friendly and the service was quick. Not pictured was delicious Burria quesadillas, omg were they tasty. The El jefe (espresso martini) was delicious and priced nicely. Definitely a fun little place with a nice relaxing atmosphere and plenty of bathrooms

A fun assortment of foodie kitchens gathered under one roof with a bar. Enjoy a variety of seating options and a good assortment of dishes. This is a smaller version of Atlanta's Krug Street Market. We sampled gourmet ramen and smash burgers--both excellent.

This was my second visit to The Joinery, and this time, I decided to try the burger station. The burger was packed with flavor--just a bit saltier than I prefer, but still really tasty! I love that there are plenty of seating options and a great variety of food and drinks to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the outdoor patio overlooking the lake--I'll definitely be sitting out there next time to enjoy the view with my meal. The staff was also super friendly and patient while we figured out our order, which made the experience even better. Looking forward to my next visit!

Restrooms: It had two single use restrooms. The restrooms were nice and clean. Service: Our service was great overall. I gave four stars because it was a bit slow at moments, but the waiter apologized for the wait times. Food: I loved my food and drink. I got their 'Tropic Thunder' mocktail which was delicious. It is such a fun drink for the summer! I had their 'Whipped Ricotta Toast' as my lunch entree. I wanted something cool and not too big to eat for lunch. It was the perfect portion size and very flavorful. Everything was beautifully presented. If I'm back in the Lakeland area, I will definitely come back here! This is a great location in an old federal building. Nice decor for this Smiths American Tavern…read more The bartender met us at the door, due to it being the middle of the day, and business being a bit slower, and we opted to sit at the bar. He was very social and answered all our questions and socialized about personal life as well. We ordered the Cuban eggrolls, and they were quite good but had smaller cubes of ham as opposed to pictures showing slices in some older pictures posted to this establishment. The drinks were spot-on. Although I may sound disappointed, I'm looking forward to trying more on the menu that they have to offer. I plan to return to try more. Recommended!

The atmosphere is dive bar friendly and there are so many cool niche areas for photos. Really loved the raised unfinished ceiling and the naked white brick wall which covered the side wall of the tavern. When you enter there is a hostess to great you. And our server almost appeared immediately. She explained the menu to us and the specials. What a great first impression. Unfortunately, there was a key piece of info we missed. There is a full bar, draft beer options and a decent wine selection. I ordered a draft beer and a flight of Mimosas. The beer was good, the mimosa flight not so much. Oh, and they have brunch specials on Saturday and Sunday, including unlimited mimosas at a 2 hour limit. For food, ordered the classic breakfast plate and a breakfast burger. Food was pretty good, but the burger was from a frozen patty, so not the best. Unfortunately they have some policy where they charge an extra $1 for the eggs. It is posted in the front, but nowhere on the menu. Suffice to say that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. They did remove the $1 but it took more effort that I would have liked and unfortunately the review and the server's tip suffered as a result.
