I text Mandy to ask her if she would be able to fix my extensions. She txt me right back and was so nice and polite. She answered all my questions. Just through text I felt comfortable enough to schedule an appointment and she was able to accommodate me the same day. She took my old extension off washed my hair and put new ones in and my hair looks so pretty. I want to give an honest review on what I experienced being a first time client. Mandy was a really nice, friendly hair stylist when I went in for a haircut. Her personality and attitude was great as a person. Unfortunately my hair didn't end up in the best shape after my session. I asked for an A-line haircut where my hair would be short in the back and long in the front. I've always had short haircuts and knew what I was expecting. However, I'm not sure if things were misinterpreted or I didn't explain that well but in the end my hair looked closer to a bob then an A-line haircut. It was still short in the back but not as long in the front as I expected it to be. Before I left, my hair was straightened and curled inward with a straightener which made the haircut look more like a bob. I didn't think too much of it but it wasn't until a few days after that I noticed my hair was butchered. When I straighten my hair without curling the ends inward (I'm not too fond of the style of a bob) I noticed that lots of pieces of my hair were chopped making everything look like a hack job. Lots of the pieces were longer and shorter than others and clearly looked like she didn't know what she was doing. And I was told that she was known for short haircuts. I'm not one to cry over my hair but I'm going to have to wait for it to grow back out and get a proper haircut. Unfortunately I will not be going back. I have attached photos to my review read more

I get the pleasure of working with Mandy on a daily basis, but she is also my hair stylist. I wanted to write a review for her because she recently did my hair extensions last week for my wedding. I was excited to try a new method of extensions (I did the micro-link) but kind of nervous because it was for my wedding and in my ten years of having hair extensions I had never tried this particular kind. I LOVE them!! I cannot believe I haven't updated! Mandy at Primp Salon is still my stylist after 5 more years! The main reason I keep returning to her is that my hair is soo healthy since I've gone to her. With all the bleaching, 1x with extensions, color changes, style changes and Brazilian Blowouts I've done, I have never had silkier hair or received more compliments. Her experience & talent account for great choices in the products she uses on my hair that keep it super healthy. I just had my hair done again today & realize how much she listens to me to accomplish exactly what I want. I am very particular about my cut-I ask her to cut it a funky way & she checks and rechecks with me as she goes to make sure I leave happy. I am quite a talker too when I get my hair done & she always welcomes that about me. I actually work at a salon. I have been dying my hair black for years and wanted to go red. No one wanted to help me, they were afraid to damage my hair. So I found Mandy and she said she uses a special product called Olaplex that helps keep the integrity of your hair while bleaching it.
