If you resort to going there, work with the lady. I've had a pleasant experience with her once. The man is obnoxious. I've been there a couple of times and he always looks at you like you're some kind of f'ing moron when you enter. Don't inconvenience him with your business. Communication sucks. This last time ever going there he scheduled us for 11am and when we arrived he said it was 10. Bull. You are better off at Super Cuts or Fantastic Sams. Came to this place because I found a coupon in the Cucamonga Coupons paper, made an appointment and was concerned about the price. The lady on the phone said she would have to see my hair. I explained I had a coupon and she said we have to see it and you hair for the price. I walked in and was helped by a different lady, I thought I booked with the lady on the phone but I guess not, found that out halfway through the process. She this lady didnt give me a price at all. She said she will see what she can do and explain the coupon at the end. So I blown away when the coupon said $55 and up and she charged me $145 plus a tip without telling me the price beforehand. I got an ombre dye with my natural hair. I showed her a photo I found online and once I was done, my hair looks nothing like the photo! The ombre is so high it looks like I havent dyed my hair in 3yrs and just let it grow out, its awful. Also, for the haircut I asked for just long face layers in the front and one length in the back, well she decided go give me layers all around my hair and said it's what I needed. I didnt want layers all around my hair and now I have to grow it all evenly again. I am so angry not only that the price was the same as I would have paid without the coupon but that my hair was cut in layers that I didnt want and it will take years to grow it out. Also, an ombre that doesnt even look right...she dyed it way too high and it looks awful. I am so irrational with all the money I spent and the awful way my hair came out. I will never go back. The only reason I am giving 2 stars in because the people there were nice and complimenting but for how my hair came out, never again. 2 stars only because I used to come here all the time years ago and Angie was always great, today she was busy though so i sat with the guy. As a licensed barber myself, i should have listened to the yelp reviews on him and went somewhere else or just did it myself but I figured there's no way he could mess up a simple trim, i was wrong. He didn't do any consultation just sat me down and began cutting my hair DRY. No clips. Snip here snip there. I said take an inch off the ends and NO layers. When i left, the overall length was the same but now i have terribly uneven, choppy block layers. I'll either have to fix it myself or pay someone again and now I'll have to go way shorter than i ever wanted. read more

I am a model and l have been a customer at this salon for 6 years. Teresa is my stylist and is excellent, but l would recommend anyone who works there. I have had just about everyone do my hair at some point and they all do fabulous hair at about half of what other salons charge. It is a family atmosphere, as they have all worked there a long time. I went there about 8 months ago.. for a trim. The guy there was talking to the other hair dresser about a Brazilian blow out appointment that he is waiting for as he sat me in the chair..ignoring me... he asked what I would like. I asked for a trim my hair was at my mid back and I just wanted to clean up the edges and bangs. As he prepend me.. he was still talking to the other woman about how he knows how good his colors are... as he picked up the scissors I and started working on my hair he said to me I know what you like you like it short right!? I said rather loudly.. no! Just a trim. He continued to work on my hair to my horror. By the end my hair was a bit longer than my shoulders. No tip was given I went home and cried. But to make the best out of a bad situation.. it was a very good hairstyle that I have had to let grow back out since then. I felt ignored and over charged. $25. Need to find a new place soon, thanks to yelp I won't have to endure being treated like that again. read more

I had made an appointment for 9:30 once I get there and call them they needed to change it to 10:30, She told me they had an unscheduled meeting and she didn't have my number. She could have just told me the truth that it was her co-workers birthday and they had planned brunch. Also you can't just leave a little post it and let me know that oh we did leave you a note about how timing won't work. Hair stylist I had (would rather not give her name out) had double booked herself for hair color. So now she is juggling both of us. Very 1st thing her and I had discussed NO blonde please. Once she did bleaching and toner guess what my hair where BLDONE. She didn't like the idea that she would have to do more toner to tone the color down to honey/dark caramel color as we had spoken. She also told me that other client have stuff to do so she needs for me to sit aside while she takes care of her 1st. That's not bad enough so she had put some leave in conditioner in my hair which dripped all over my t-shirt and she hadn't washed all the color out of my hair which means I have stained clothes when I walked out of there. Oh yeah and she tells me next time I should were the clothes I don't mind getting it dirty for professional hair coloring process. I was suppose to get ombre hair color which was NOT suppose to touch my roots or natural hair color for about 4 inches from scalp; instead she made a mistake and got hair color all over where I generally part my hair. When she realized it she asked me if I would like to part my hair differently when I said NO, she said well "I have added highlights in your hair", which I had not asked for. Well luckily with super extra toner we were able to get my hair to close to what I had in mind. That's the only reason it's 2 start, other wise it would have been negative star If I could give. Place looks great for teenagers to come paly around with there hair may be and also looks good for guys hair cut. Lot of guys walked in, and left happy with there quick cuts. I came here a couple weeks ago desperate for a cut. I stopped going to my regular barber about 6-8 weeks ago due to the cost increasing by $5, so I was in need of a new place. Everywhere I went was either too busy that day or wanted $30 a cut. I have a pretty basic cut, 0 on the sides no fade, 8 on the top and scissor the front so paying $30 plus tip is over kill. This place charges $15 for a men's cut which is pretty good. I walked in and there was a male and a female employee both working on a pair of older ladies and no one waiting. When I was up he asked what I wanted done and I explained, "just a 0 on the sides, 8 on top and scissor the front please. I like the front a little longer than the rest". He then prepped me and dampened my hair and then asked what style I wanted, I told him, "just follow the same lines from my last cut", and he agreed. He took what seemed like a face shaver and did the sides, then he asked again what to do and I explained again, "an 8 on top and scissor the front". He said "ok", and started running his fingers through my hair with a concentrating look on his face. He picked up some scissors and just started taking a snip here, take a snip there, one here, one here, one here. I was pretty dumbfounded to be honest and I was getting really aggravated because he was acting like my time was completely unimportant and was moving at a snails pace. Not to mention he's cutting my hair with scissors everywhere that I explained to cut with a #8 trimmer and never even touched the front. He never even got the clippers out so I didn't even get the #8 on the top either!!!.... To this day, I have no idea what the hell he was cutting with his extremely slow and irrational scissor method. Then for the 4th or 5th time he switched back to the face shaver and started doing the sides again like he wasn't sure what to do and needed to do something other than ask me again what he needed to do. I felt like he spent about 75% of the time on the left side of my head only and then the rest of the time on the top and right side. I got home and the sides of my head looked dirty and patchy, which was actually tiny, tiny fine little pieces of cut hair all over my head. I washed it all off and was happy to see that it wasn't patchy. But then I started noticing that the back of my head was suuuuuuper in even. On the left side the line had humps in it and wasn't taken in on 2 sections about a quarter inch on one and about a half inch on the other. And on the right side of my head the line was straighter but he still didn't match the old line and for some reason he took in the back line really far making the left side look even more disproportionate. If this wasn't bad enough he also decided to make a new line on the front of my hair and he shaved a little stripe to a zero which is embarrassing as I'm now trying to grow it back. At the shop I couldn't notice it after my hair was combed back and the mirrors so far away or I would have mentioned it there. What I did notice though was my sideburns were all funky. He left the whole side burn on, on the left side which turned into my facial hair shadow. On the right side he left the whole thing on plus about a half inch that also ran behind my ear. It was a very noticeable mistake and was surprising that he didn't noticed that himself. When he was done after all of that I just wanted to get out of there. I never mentioned he didn't even cut the top of my hair with the #8 clipper that I repeatedly, clearly and specifically instructed him to do. Every time he made a cut or ran that shaver on me I got more and more aggravated because it just felt so irregular. All in all, I should have known not to go to the ONLY place with no one in it. I paid $15 for some guy to totally jack me up and leave his embarrassing mark on me for what I can only assume will be another 3-4 weeks until it grows back. I also had to go to another barber just to clean up the lines and get my #8 cut done.. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY WITH HIGH CUSTOMER SACRIFICES. read more
