She's attentive and really listens to what I'm trying to get accomplished. I always walk away happy with my hair. I brought my son in for a quick trim and hair touch up with the Susie. She's very responsive with text messages and is upfront on whether what he wants is doable with his type of hair or not. This review is long overdue. My first experience here was a few months ago. I called on a whim to see if someone could fit me in for a blow out, not only was i accommodated; Kristi gave me an amazing blow out. In addition to the blow out, I received excellent customer service and great conversation. Fast forward to about a few weeks ago, I booked an appointment with Kristi for my hair cut (it was much needed) and it was exactly what i asked for! I honestly never leave bad reviews, but I feel like people deserve to know what they're getting into. I went to Rockalily Hair Salon with very clear expectations. I showed Susie a reference photo of the soft, blended honey brown look I wanted natural, seamless, glossy. What I ended up with was nothing like that. My hair came out patchy, uneven, and with random streaks of blonde and grayish tones that look extremely harsh against my dark hair. It looks completely unblended and sloppy. There is no soft dimension or professional finish at all. It literally looks like I did it myself at home with box dye. read more

Susie saved my baylage after I dyed it metallic blue with boxed dye. She has a lovely personality and talented hairdresser. She made my grays less visible by adding low lights to my roots and I was not disappointed with the outcome and how well they hid my grays. Definitely worth your hair self-care!!! read more

I haven't been to a hair salon in a few years, so it was such a relief how pleasant my experience was when I went there. I made an appointment with Susie a week before. Susie was very nice and so welcoming. I was in and out of there so fast too. I went in for a simple haircut with some framing and she did an awesome job giving me a cut that I was happy with. I love it and my hair looks and feels super healthy. The price I paid for a wash, haircut and styling was very reasonable. I look forward to going there again for my next cut. :))) read more

The salon is so cute, and all the stylist are friendly. But my review is purely based on April and her mad hair skills. April has taken my hair from ashy, dried out, damaged green, to soft, colorful and luxurious!! When April first started doing my hair I went to her in hopes she could get rid of the ashy green that another stylist from a different salon did to my hair. And let me tell ya, she got rid of the green and made me and my hair very happy!!! April turned my ashy sad hair to happy redish brown hair and I was hooked!!! Since then April has worked her magic on my hair changing it from redish brown, to brown, to blue, to purple, and my current hair which I absolutely love balayage blonde and brown. I mean I've loved them all and if the bright colors weren't so much work to keep up I would still have them. I highly recommend April she will listen to what you want and work with you to get your hair to where you want it. And most importantly she will not over process and kill your hair. read more

I used this salon once and the girl who cut my hair was nice and talkative. All my haircuts are walk ins, that's how I do it. Today I came in at 4pm and was told I would not be able to get haircut, "sorry" was the reply, the "bye" as I left. There was no need for this person to be sorry for turning away & $40 cash plus tip. If anything I should've said sorry to her, "sorry someone else will be getting the money you could've had. I'm truly sorry for the loss of that payment and future payments from myself. Rockalilly Salon is easy to find on Foothill Blvd, just north of the 10 fwy. Its in a strip mall style shopping center with lots of parking and easy to access. Upon entering for my appointment with April, I was greeted by the staff at the front desk, as well as the other stylists whom were working on their clients. No rock star personalities, or catty attitudes in this place. It was very welcoming and had a great vibe inside. The salon is open, has a black and red color palette, with each station having a large full length mirror, comfortable salon chair, (which is important when you're sitting for several hours), and a chandelier above each chair. Punk rock, rockabilly, and an occasional classic rock song were in rotation on the playlist in the salon. April created a beautiful blue-blue green-brown balayage on my hair. April had me laughing the entire time, and was very entertaining. She spent time making sure my hair processed correctly during the pre-lightening, and was very attentive to her craft. Once the color was finished, she trimmed my hair, blow dried it, and styled it beautifully. I enjoyed the entire time I was there, and felt very comfortable as she took me through the entire process. TRINITY HOPKO! Cute young blonde hair stylist is the best. Everyone is great but I love Trinity so much. She never goes crazy with the scissors when I specifically ask to keep my length. Mind you I have very curly hair which usually requires a specialist. She has learned the dynamics of my hair so quickly and is truly just talented as an artist. Not only does she do an amazing job at hair cutting, but she's great at color and styling for special occasions. On top of that she's also certified in lash extensions which she just recently opened up her own her own private studio to work out of.
