[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute spot in Forest Hills! Prince Tea House has such a beautiful, cozy atmosphere and is perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxing afternoon[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The tea was delicious, the desserts were amazing, and everything was beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has such an elegant and relaxing vibe. Definitely a little hidden gem in Forest Hills. I'll absolutely be coming back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This Prince Tea House is super cute, well decorated with a nice cozy vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stopped by for dessert before a concert at nearby Forest Hill Stadium and easily was able to get a seat. I enjoyed the dessert trio, which was bigger than expected! I definitely could have shared it. We also enjoyed the Prince fruit paradise tea which was sweet and tasted like juice. Service was quick and staff were friendly.

First of all, I didn't know there was a Prince tea house in Forest hills so please lets start spreading some love for this location Amazing service, the girl was so efficient and helped us with everything we requested! The place itself was so open, very festive and super clean, definitely a relaxing ambiance for drinking some tea The food was good, my favorite was the bobaa pudding they served! We enjoy our eggrolls and the scone which was very tasty! Definitely coming back but is such a nice spot and I really want people to know about it

Disappearing Scone! They are doing everything right now! Great service even when busy, which is often. Menu is updated often. We love coming here every weekend!

I'm so glad I stopped in for a hot tea on this cold wintry day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Prince Tea House is beautiful inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was friendly, and who doesn't love having tea service? The Earl Grey Milk Tea warmed me up, and it was a nice reward after a long cold week of commuting.

Came here for a Saturday night and was surprised we were able to get seats immediately. The decor is very similar to other prince tea houses we've been too. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The desserts came out relatively quick. The ube souffle and matcha creme brulee was good. On the small side but good. The crepe cake was okay. The boba syrup made it very sweet.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Prince Tea House is a super cute spot with really nice ambiance and a great location close to the train, which made it very convenient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We really enjoyed our food: we ordered the egg rolls, a salad, and one of their cakes for dessert, and everything tasted great. I ordered a white tea, which was excellent. My friend ordered a black tea. One small mix-up: we both ordered our teas hot, but my friend's came iced. When we mentioned it, the waitress kind of walked away before it was fully addressed. Overall the only reason this isn't a 5/5 is because the service was a bit iffy. It took a long time for someone to come back to our table to take our dessert order, and the waitress didn't really have answers to some of our questions. My friend also asked for a sweetener like Sweet and Low for her tea and was told they didn't have anything like that, which was surprising for a tea house. That said, the food, tea, and atmosphere were lovely, and I'd still recommend stopping by.

I've been to the Prince Tea House in Chinatown many years ago and didn't think it was anything special. However, I decided to give it a try again since I saw that it was in Forest Hills. I tried the beef sukiyaki sandwich and it was extremely good! I would highly recommend it. The service is a bit slow and I had to ask for water refills several times, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]it has cute and cozy vibes inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Fruit tea no caffeine
    Sandy L.

Today tried their chicken sandwich which was good! And had their fruit tea (no caffeine) again with my GF's who both like Prince Tea House since I brought them there separately. Service is always good and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is nice that's why we enjoy coming here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Passion Fruit Mousse Cake
    Roslyn H.

The passion fruit mousse cake was refreshing and delicious. The pot of Rooibos des Vahines tea was mild and tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant including its bathroom is clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server checked on my table and poured tea for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to chat with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Always love coming to a Prince Tea House. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is very beautiful and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The rose milk tea is always a favorite with me and my friends. The smoked salmon sandwich was also delicious and I love the side salad!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute place! Bright lighting but not in an industrial way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick despite being only one table away from full the entire time. I had a hot herbal tea and a (iced) potted milk tea which I've never heard of before and it was super tasty. The cake was quite good but not amazing. I'd expect the desert to be better since that's one of the focuses of the place and because it's quite pricy, but this is my only minor complaint. Two of my friends ordered hot food and enjoyed their meals and one of them has been here a few times, which I think helps speak to the vibe and quality. It's right off next to the LIRR stop too, so it's perfect to stop into for a quick bite and/or a tea. Wouldn't mind coming back at all!

    Long Jing Green Tea
    Carina H.

I've been to one or two other Prince Tea locations, but this was my first time at the Forest Hills location. This location looks very bright with the white walls yet cozy. The wall decor is cute. The Matcha Ice Cream was rich and creamy. It was also reasonably priced. The Tiramisu was small for the price, but it was good and left me wanting more. The cream was thick but not too sweet. The Long Jing Green Tea had a subtle flavor, but it was a comforting nighttime drink. I wish the flavor was stronger or that they provided refills. The staff was very attentive and helped us with the first tea pour.

Ask the Community - Prince Tea House

Do people come here to study/read? Or is it more of a restaurant style spot where it's a faux-pas to sit for hours and read/study? Thanks in advance!

I would not recommend for studying and reading. This is very much a restaurant for dining and socializing.

    Do they offer high tea?

Not at this location. You can go to their website and check which location offers it.

Is there a parking lot available for customers? If not, what are the parking options in the area?

    No just street parking

Is it kid and stroller friendly?

Inside is pretty tight with a couple of steps to get over, so it would be pretty difficult to park the stroller next to the table.…

This place looks so appealing every time I walk past, but I have celiac disease. Is there anything gluten free on the menu?

Didn't see anything gluten free. Maybe the salads (but who knows about the dressing). Stick to the tea here though!

    Is there indoor dining?

    Yes

Do they still have outdoor dining?

Yes, they have a tent set up with limited seating.

To dine in do you have to make reservations?

We do not take reservations and only allow walk-in at this time.

    Do they have boba tea?

You can add boba to certain drinks for an additional charge

    Do they have COVID-19 surcharge?

I didn't see any on our check.

How do we make a reservation?

I didn't make a reservation...I'd just showed up and waited like 10 minutes which is not bad...

Will there be indoor dining on 9/30?

Hi, yes there will be limited indoor seating on 9/30. Per city guidelines- 25% capacity indoors, temperature checks for all, and one person in the party must leave their contact information.

Do you take reservations for larger parties (6 People)?

Hi, unfortunately we do not take reservations at this time.

    What are the hours?

Currently we are open 7 days a week from 12pm-10pm.

    Is the bathroom Available?

Yes, we do have a bathroom available for customers to use. You would need to have a mask on to enter inside, as well as have your temperature checked.

This classic and favorite dessert spot still has its magic. When we arrived, there was a line on both sides- to sit down and the to go order. We picked one of their best selling items- banana split, 2 scoops of ice cream. Comes with free whipped cream , choice of syrup, rainbow sprinkles a cherry. Extra charge for any added item like any toppings. Price is reasonable for the serving size, it can be shared. The server is ready to give extra cutlery.
