Prince William OBGYN: "When was the date of your last monthly cycle." ME: "I don't know. I haven't kept very good track since weening my daughter." Prince William OBGYN: "Well I need a date before I can schedule an appointment for you." ME: "I told you I don't know. Would you like me to make one up?" REALLY?!?! Seriously! I know I am not the only woman who doesn't circle dates and the only one who was not back on a regular schedule after nursing her second child. I had really wanted to keep this practice. I had liked the fact they are all women...but REALLY! Then when I did go in and saw a nurse she rushed me out without addresing any of my concerns. I hear doctor Ng and Liao are much better! The only thing I liked about this practice was the very nice receptionist I spoke to when setting up an appointment. It was my first time at this practice, and the lady I spoke to initially got me into a quick appointment in Gainesville, then when they had to call and reschedule with me due to a doctor's family emergency she worked around my schedule to get me in at the Manassas office on the same day I so that I wouldn't have to rearrange my work schedule. That's where it ends. When I got to the office, I knew I was about 15 minutes early but once at the front desk they asked me, "You know you're very early, right?" Apparently the appointment was for 15 minutes later than I thought it was ( so I was 30 minutes early). So I waited. And waited. While I waited, they called me up only to ask if they could collect my $50 copay (I didn't understand why since my insurance covers an annual exam 100%, meaning no copay. I later called them to have it refunded to me.) They finally called me back a good 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, meaning I'd been sitting in the waiting room for about 50 minutes. I waited quite a bit more for Dr. Gutliph to come in. She was okay, nice enough but I got an inexplicable feeling of being patronized. Maybe that was in my head. The icing on the cake was the bill I got in the mail asking for an extra $22.29. I called my insurance who told me I was billed incorrectly - they billed both a routine exam AND an office visit. I called the practice to inquire, and they explained to me that because I presented the doctor with an issue I was having, that part of the visit was considered to be outside the realm of the standard exam. The receptionist even admitted to me that "most people don't know that". You think?? I'm certain most people assume they are visiting the doctor for a checkup to ensure everything is in good shape, and that if there is a problem the doctor will help them out with it without slapping an extra fee on for it. Definitely a woman friendly practice. I love the PW Ob/Gyn docs! They are nothing but nice and caring and always have my best interest in mind. Please note that if you use them for OB services, you don't get to see just one doc, you see the whole group. I believe at the moment there are 4 docs: Fegley, Kang, Neal, and Smith on board--Josephs left the practice. They have you see all the docs because you don't know who will be on call when your baby is born. I was a little upset by this initially but got over it. All the docs are great! Ok, so the wait time for appointments is very hit or miss. They are specialists so yeah, that is going to happen. Some days I don't mind but there have been times where I waited nearly 45 minutes and have been pretty pissed! The office staff is very courteous and professional. I see the same faces each time I go in so I know they must enjoy working there because they stick around! I was seen by another OB before we moved to the area and the difference in care is amazing. This practice is great and I would urge any mother-to-be to go with these docs. I would seriously feel comfortable with any of the docs delivering our next baby!!!!! read more

I would give this practice zero stars if I could. This place should be ashamed to be in business. I had both kids at this obgyn and they have messed up so many times they're lucky I haven't sued them. They recently gave me a phone number for the wrong place and I wasted an entire day. Now I have to waste another day and schedule a new appointment. Rewind 4 years when I had my son. I had a very difficult time having our son and then I ended up having him earlier then we expected. This could have been prevented in the front desk and doctors monitored me more closely throughout my pregnancy. The front desk staff is rude, unhelpful, and never answer the phone. Although the doctors were good in the past they lost most of their good doctors over the years. This place should be shut down and not be in business. Find another place, do not go here. read more

I came here last week because I was having some issues and also due for my annual exam. The front desk staff was very nice and helped me promptly. The assistant was fine and I didn't have to wait for too long. I saw Dr Gutliff and again this was my first visit. She asked for me to give her a little history and I began to tell her that I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 5 years ago. About 45 seconds into my history she interrupts and says "whoa whoa you have a lot going on here and I'm not going to be able to address all of this today. I fully understand that I have a lot of issues and more than one visit may be needed. However, I felt that her interruption was abrupt and rude considering she asked me to tell her my history. Perhaps she needs to plan more than a 15 min appointment time for new patients so she can get a better understanding of each individuals medical needs. Dr Gutliff spoke to me for no more than 4 min and the appointment from beginning to end was less than 15 min. After out brief chat she offered to give me injections of a medication that would put me into menopause. I can't help but feel that she is more interested in the incentives she receives from the pharmaceutical companies rather than what is best for her patients. I went for an ultra sound this week and got a call back from an assistant today. "Dr Gutliff says your ultra sound is normal, you have a follicle on the right side but it is much smaller than before" my response " much smaller than before? I've never had an ultra sound there before and never been seen there before so what is she comparing it to?" Nurses response "uh hmm ok... I don't see that she had anything to compare it to, I guess she just made that up". Needless to say, I'm still in pain and have no answers. It's apparent that Dr Gutliff is not interested in helping me. I will not be back. read more

The girl at the front desk (blond, young, nose piercing -- not that there is anything wrong with piercings, I love them.... mention it solely for identification) should NOT be working with people. update on my review: save yourself the time and dont get birth control here. lady in charge off ordering wasnt there for a whole 2 weeks, no one took over apparently and i was stuck waiting for months for my birth control only to have it handed to someone else because they couldnt reach me. when i clearly have an emergency # they used to leave confirmation calls on. went here for my prenatal check ups... very nice staff and dr.smith helped me deliver vbac .. she was so supportive ... the front desk lady (african american) was always so helpful and she always remembered my name. sad part is they do take forever to take you in and check you. other than that i loved the staff besides a white(no offense) lady that was always so rude. read more

This review is a little old. I was told not to write it and was afraid to... Well, not any more. In July 2013 I found out I was pregnant. Scheduled my first visit with these guys. Receptionist was always rude. I don't remember her name, but she was there every visit. The first appointment should have been my queue to get a different obgyn. I was afraid of blood tests so the nurse that was going to take my blood got a butterfly needle. She was very condescending. I kid you not, she literally just left the needle in my arm a good 20 seconds or so while she talked to a colleague that came into the room about personal matters. Seriously? Fast forward to 20 weeks of pregnancy when I was going to get my ultrasound done. It was somewhere else (I believe the radiology associates in Manassas) and I had lost my doctor's order. The people there said no problem, we can get a copy faxed over from prince William obgyn. Well, over an hour later, they hadn't faced anything over. I was told that we had to reschedule. This was my fault yes, but it really shouldn't take over an hour to send a freaking fax. Might I mention that all of the obgyn visits at this point have been with different doctors at prince william. I had no idea who was going to deliver my baby other than a name. Dr. Fegley. Fast forward to a few days later. (Around 21 weeks pregnant) I wake up at 5 am with what felt like contractions only a few minutes apart. My man rushed me to the hospital. They gave me water and just told me to lie down. That did nothing. Then the on duty nurse came in, checked my cervix and said nothing was happening. A while later she came back, checked it again, and again nothing happened. A few minutes after the second check, I went to the restroom and (graphic) there was blood everywhere. I honestly believe that they induced me. In the end, I lost my baby at 21 weeks. No one believed that I was having contractions that painful. They didn't use an ultrasound to check things out and there ARE meds that can slow the process of labor (they told me there aren't any.) I was in the maternity unit of the hospital. Shouldn't they know what they are doing??? Oh, by the way, I finally met Dr. Fegley. She was nice but I hear that she doesn't work here any more. PLEASE if you care at all about your baby, avoid this place at all costs!!! Just found out that I'm pregnant again a week ago and will definitely not go anywhere near this place. They are such a horribly run practice it isn't even funny. There is such a lack of communication between the patient and doctor. I was diagnosed with what I see as some pretty serious things. They sent me for an ultrasound, then an MRI. I was told by the MRI people that the results would take no more than 48 hours to be delivered to the doctor. 4 days and 6 phone calls later, they left a message on my home phone (after I had been specific to call me at the office) with the results and they just left me the diagnosis, not any info on the treatment. I have now made 4 more phone calls with no response from the doctor. When I asked if I could email her my questions I was told no that they don't have a secure email system. Time to find a practice with doctors who care about their patients. read more

While the doctors are understanding, the office staff, and especially the accounts/billing people are the most incompetent group I have ever had the unfortunate experience of meeting. It has been several years since my delivery and they are STILL fighting with me about my bill that I and my insurance had paid. Even after showing them my bank statements showing that I paid, they kept adding it to the wrong account and demanding more money, then turned me into collections without warning. When my family doctor tried to work with them on my behalf, they told him if he wanted the info to google it himself then hung up on him! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT YEARS OF HASSLE! Never again! read more

I arrived at my appt 10 min late due to traffic being so terrible. I had to stand and wait over 5 min to be able to sign in because a man was standing in the window area blocking access to the sign in sheet.They called back and they say to me did anyone tell you to be here at 1:15. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! NO ONE TOLD ME TO BE 30 MIN EARLY. They told me i could not be seen because it was after 15 min and needed to reschedule. I work as a nurse in a medical office and I know for a fact that if someone drops the ball and does not inform a patient that they were supposed to be early we sure as heck see them and don't send them out the door!! I told them i will not be returning. I live in Woodbridge and the ONLY reason i was willing to drive the extra miles was because someone told me they were sooooo great. I might as well go somewhere closer because their care is worse than any others close to here.(which is really sad to say). NOT ONLY THAT, but i called to speak with the practice manager and did not receive a phone call back. what kind of practice is this?! most unprofessional-ism i have EVER encountered. Your experience with her is fictitious and maliciously intended. you probably were not even speaking to Sherry at all, since the reasons of your calls is not something that she handles anyway. Be realistic next time. I can tell you my experiences with Sherry have been awesome. If it wasn't for her I would not be coming to this practices. I have been going here for about four years. My doctor, the fabulous Dr. Josephs, left recently but I decided to stay on despite a scary story of negligence on their part during a friend of a colleague's delivery. Recently, I have began to have some health issues that have required me to go to the office more than once a year. I have been extremely unimpressed and am looking for another ob-gyn. The doctors are nice, although the more serious my health issues become, the more I question their judgment. The administrative side, though, is a nightmare. Even before my recent health issues, it was difficult to make an appointment because the appointment scheduler was so rude. I have waited over an hour for an appointment with no explanation or apology besides "oh, this never happens". I have seen office staff argue in front of me about the proper way to set up a procedure. I have been told to call insurance myself to see if a procedure is covered. Currently, I have been waiting almost a month for some test results. I have contacted them a few times, and they won't tell me the results over the phone or even send them to me (I've been told that they're in the mail, but I should keep calling if I don't receive them). No doubt they have been able to follow up on the insurance side and have already been paid. I honestly don't know what to do next--take time off of work and go into the office myself? Call my insurance company and tell them Prince William Ob/Gyn charged for test results they never delivered? This seems unethical on their part. Needless to say, I'll be changing doctors. read more

I waited for 6 weeks to be evaluated as a new OB patient only to have to repeatedly call them to check on the status and eventually I was denied. The kicker for me was that I was told the doctor hadn't indicated a reason and so she just couldn't give me one. I was immediately accepted by another practice that same day. I loved this practice 4 years ago during my last pregnancy, but I am now pregnant again, and the care and service has deteriorated. It is nearly impossible to schedule an appointment with an actual doctor. I am almost 34 weeks pregnant, and I have almost always seen the physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. They are lovely, but they do not do deliveries, and I really want a chance to meet the doctors who might be delivering me. There is one new doctor (new since my last pregnancy) that I still have never met, and one (who delivered my last son!) that I have not been able to see at all this pregnancy. It is making me beyond frustrated that the doctor who delivers me might be a complete stranger. It sounds like the previous reviewer was actually able to see all the docs - lucky her, I have no idea how that happened! Waiting time is very hit or miss. Once in while it is very quick and easy, but sometimes the wait is at least an hour +. Just make sure you don't have any plans, etc., after your appointment, because you never know. It is a shame that this is happening to this practice, because, one-on-one, the docs (as far as I know from my limited contact with them) seem nice. I would NOT recommend this practice for OB!!! read more

I really like this practice and have been a patient here for about 3 years now. The Drs are friendly and are willing and able to answer any question that you have. I have a ton of confidence in the Drs. However, like previous reviewer Susan F., I am starting to get very disappointed with the way this office is ran. Twice in recent months I have had to wait over an hour and a half before seeing the Dr. The Dr. did apologize and her excuse was being the only Dr. on staff for the day (besides the nurse practioners) and she had a lot to deal with. I find that the office/scheduling could be better managed. There is no reason for such a large practice to be so short-staffed as to have their patients wait for such long periods of time. I'm a professional and I would be appalled to treat a customer in this manner. read more

This practice is HORRIBLE. My gut told me to change at the begining of my pregnancy and I should have. I called 3 times within a month span and all three times they asked my to tell them my DOB and I would and they would tell me they had something different. NO ORGANIZATIONAL abilities apparently. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON MY DELIVERY..... I had a dream pregnancy and no problems until birth. We induced as I was a week over due and I ended up having to have a C-Section. The Dr freaked out as she could not get my daughter out (Since I pushed for 2 hours with no prgress except jamming my daughter in) They ended up pushing her up into my body and she went into distress. My daughter was in NICU for 4 days and I had to have TWO MORE SURGERIES to repair damages from my C-Section. We were both in the hospital for 16 days and it was a HORRIBLE experience. I have been dealing with Prince William OB/GYN off and on for ten months, since the beginning of my first pregnancy, and during my second pregnancy, which both ended in miscarriages. When I called to cancel my prenatal appointment after miscarrying, the first receptionist was very kind and sympathetic. The second time I got someone else, and she was very apathetic and indifferent. Not to mention completely unhelpful. And unhelpful is pretty much my complete experience with Prince William OB/GYN. They were reluctant to schedule tests to find out about what was going on and not committed to me as a patient. I have been seen by Kathleen Paulter and Dr. Bowers, who are both rough during exams (if you know what I mean!) and nonchalant. My appointment today was my clincher for finding a new practice, though: lack of communication from nurses, lack of communication amongst the staff, lack preparedness ( I had told three nurses what my symptoms were, and the doctor came in and had no clue ), and condescencion from the doctor. She completely downplayed my symptoms and pelvic pain, blew off the reason for my visit, and it wasn't until the end of my appointment that she acknowledged that something might be wrong. I normally have my annual at Dominion Family Health, and they are pretty awesome. If I am able to have a successful pregnancy, I absolutely will not go here for my prenatal care. read more

I had 3 years between my exams because I kept meaning/wanting to find a new practice. Past the first visit years a go with a doctor I had to beg to see a doctor vs a nurse ever since and never felt like all my concerns were heard. Now, 3 years later they find lumps in my breast and I have to call the office numerous times to maybe get a call back......it may be routine to them, but it is not to me. First day I got the results, when I first reached someone after trying all day, they said "well, she can't talk to you today and she is in surgery all day Friday, maybe the Doctor can call you early next week? That really unset me and eventually a very nice nurse did call me. Now today, I have another concern and even though I called the office at 11 AM and again at 3 PM, I never heard back and now the office is closed. I get to enjoy another anxious night and then start leaving messages again tomorrow to try to get some answers on my breast lumps. It is scary. I have spent the last hour online trying to find a new practice that understand when women get scary news, we need to have someone there to answer our questions. read more

The only reason Prince William OB/GYN is getting a good rating from me is because of Dr. Bright. I recently moved to the area and I scheduled an appointment at the Manassas Office. Since it is an all-female practice, I was OK with seeing whoever was available. When I arrived, the receptionist, (an African American lady) was very nice and helpful. It was my first visit to I arrived 30 minutes early to complete my paperwork. The paperwork was mostly straightforward and the receptionist answered the few questions I had. Here is where it got weird- I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor. People came after me and were seen and left and I was still waiting. Finally my turn came, the intake nurse (Caucasian lady with tattoos) was very nice, she asked me a few questions and asked me to remove my clothes and that Dr. Bright would be in shortly. I sat in the room, in the little robe for 37 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. I was beginning to think that they had forgotten about me when Dr. Bright came in. In my mind I was thinking "is she 14 years old?" She looks so young and childlike. However, she is 110% professional. She apologized for the delay, she was engaging, she explained all of my birth control options, and she walked me through the exam and talked me through it as she was working. She made me feel at ease, she made sure that I understood everything she said and I had a great experience with her. I just wish it did not take FOREVER before I could see her. Because Dr. Bright is so great- I will go there again, but they must do something about the wait time. read more

We'll see how our opinion is formed after this Weds. They are attempting to bill us in advance in what we believe is to increase their gain - $$$! We were told they would accept our insurance but after a couple of visits we were told we owed $2000 plus. Reasoning - "based on others defaulting on their cost share". Now if I was reading this my thoughts would lead to what's "the rest of the story?". NONE! I am a 26 yr retired vet with TRI-Care coverage. Am currently a GS-13 working for a large govt agency. You do the math... I have an issue being lumped into people who do not meet their responsibilities. And paying for a service which we've yet to receive. OBTW - if we were paying out right the cost is $2200.00. The above does not include what PW is billing our insurance. We may move on... let them bill for that! read more

The practice dropped our case at 32 weeks mentioning no reason. 4. And even though the insurance settled the amount, their billing department still is taking months to refund the amount they owe us. 5. Overall had a very bad experience and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Fortunately, we found a very good practice that took our case at 32 weeks and things went well. read more

This is an addition to my previous review now that my baby is here. I ended up with preeclampsia and it took me bringing up the symptoms to them several times before anyting was done. Then they acted as if they were shocked that the tests came back and I was preeclamptic. (It was pretty obvious because my blood pressure was up and I was so swollen.) I went in on Dec 31st and was induced then delivered by c-section. Two days later while I was still in the hospital I received a phone call from the practice with a nurse telling me that I needed to be scheduled for an induction. She seemed shocked when I told her that I had already had a scheduled induction and c-section. The doctors are all nice but the practice itself is so unorganized and impersonal. At my 6 week follow up I brought up concerns that weren't answered but at that point it didn't matter because I have no intention of going back. read more

I would not recommend to anyone, if you are a patient and you move and then try to come back to see a doctor they wont see you once you leave you can't come back . What a joke it's not a job it's your health and your baby something needs to be done a law suite or something.... Stay away from this place. I used to be a patient of Dr. Bowers and she was WONDERFUL. When I called today to make an appointment for my annual, I was informed that she was no longer with the practice. I am close to being out of birth control, so I asked for a refill authorization to give me time to research the new doctors at the practice and they flat out told me no. I asked when Dr. Bowers left and I was told that I should have looked at the website more. (There's no notification that she left on the website currently. There is one stating that Dr. Neal left as well. This is NOT a good sign.) I was offered no referral and the woman on the phone was extraordinarily rude. I asked if the missing info (from a year ago) in my patient portal could be remedied and was told "that's not our job". The staff there was never great, but I like Dr. Bowers so much I was willing to deal with it. Now she's gone and the staff has clearly gone from bad to worse. I wouldn't trust this place with my health now. I'm convinced that nobody there cares about their patients. read more

This is an unfortunate turn of events. I used this practice for the birth of my first child in 2011 (as well as my regular gynecological visits) and they used to be really good. I'm not sure what has changed between then and now, but it is VASTLY different. The entire attitude of the office has changed: it's disorganized, there's virtually no communication between the doctors, nurses, and staff (and it's painfully obvious), and the level of customer service has dwindled down to nothing. One has to call the office with an issue several times before anything is addressed or a phone call is returned by a doctor. Case in point... I am 7 weeks pregnant and I began spotting last week. I called the office and was actually able to get the on-call doctor on the phone (this was before the office opened for the day). She instructed me to call the office when it opened, tell them that I spoke with her and that she is ordering an ultrasound at PWH, which I did. Long story short, I got the ultrasound (the sonotech saw the heartbeat and said that nothing looked out-of-the-ordinary). I was expecting a follow-up call from the doctor afterwards, which I never received. Three days later, I decided to call the office myself to follow up. I called twice; once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I left messages both times. No return call was placed. I spotted again over the weekend, so I called the office this morning and mentioned that the doctor didn't call me back after my sonogram last week. The nurse I spoke with mentioned that the doctor had left a note in my file that she wanted me to get a 2nd sonogram because the fetus has a low heartrate (but I was never told what that heartrate was). I freaked out, needless to say, and left work this morning to go to the office and see their sonotech at 11am. I saw her, she saw the heartbeat (143bpm-- in the normal range), and she gave her professional opinion that, despite the spotting, everything looked fine. But, she kept asking me if I had a follow-up appointment scheduled with my doctor. I told her that no one had mentioned anything about talking to the doctor today. She instructed me to ask the scheduling person at the front desk about it, which I did. The scheduler told me that my next scheduled appointment wasn't until Aug. 26th. Still no follow-up call from the doctor today about the 2nd ultrasound, no instructions on what to do to alleviate the spotting, what might be causing it, etc. Nothing. My husband, furious at the lax attitude of the doctor, tried to call the office this afternoon and was on-hold for TWENTY-FIVE minutes before the phone system dumped him into voicemail. Ridiculous. It's really too bad that this is the way this practice is running these days. I would love to have contact information for a patient advocate or the practice's owner so that I can complain to the right person. The secretary over phone: You have arrived late for your first appt scheduled at 9:00 a.m.. This call was placed at 9:02 a.m. . The doctor has left the office. We cannot get in touch with the doctor. Me over the phone: I'm less than 10 minutes away. Secretary over phone: We will continue to try and get in touch with the doctor, but you were supposed to be here at 8:30. My thought: Was this information given as friendly reminder for my appt? Voicemail left 6:39 p.m. Sept 7th, 2016. Absolutely not. Upon arrival, I introduced myself. Secretary: Explains that you are 45 minutes late for this appt. Unfortunately, your provider has not returned our calls. My immediate response(verbalized): How many providers were there? Nurse Response: 4 doctors and 2 nurse practitioners. Just a tidbit: When trying to select my ob-gyn on initial call the receptionist had stated, the office does not allow you to choose a practitioner since anyone on staff would see me. I politely took a seat. Secretary checked back in with me explaining that I would probably have to reschedule appt if they were not able to get in touch with provider. My thought: I'm not sure if I heard you correctly. Please pay attention to surroundings when in offices like these: Empty office and Empty Lobby. This is when I explain the voicemail and the initial call. This was my first visit, my husband patiently waited by my side, while I explained you already know what is about to happen...Less than five minutes later, the secretary stated we will have to reschedule an appt. My response was okay, while exiting the premises. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. The secretary is a piece of work! She works in a field dealing with people's most precious memories. I had to wait a month to be seen and was sure that I would find out the baby's sex today. Btw, I'm 13 weeks so this should have been an amazing visit for my family. When I delivered my first son in Sept 2011, I had nothing except wonderful things to say about this office. Even going out of the county I live in to give birth at PW Hospital. Well, 7 months later, I am pregnant again and have had a horrible experience dealing with this practice. I was told to stop breastfeeding my son immediately because of the risk of miscarriage, which is a controversial topic to begin with. I called back that same day to ensure that this is what I needed to do - because this was not what I wanted to do, and was ensured, yes, stop breastfeeding. so, you can imagine, a few days later, my milk is dried up. the next day, I get a phone call telling me that my HCG levels are low and need to be retested. This is itself is scary and is an indication that I could be having a miscarriage. I should be 8 weeks and my HCG levels are only indicating 4. So, I go in the next day to get more blood work with the results promised 24 hours later... well, its been over 24 hours later, no results. I called a few times and was rudely told that a nurse will call me back. Don't you think that this is causing undue stress on me? Why not after the third time calling in 8 hours, explaining how anxious I am, would they not just give me the results? If I have had a miscarriage, I would like to start breast feeding my 7 month old again - if its at all possible by now. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. They gave me incorrect test results for 3 plus years. I had a medical situation which was very escalated almost needing a blood transfusion and they had me running all over Manassas and Dale City, VA to do all these things knowing that I had a serious medical condition. I did love my doctor but some of the people in the front office were so unprofessional and not friendly at all. This practice has gone down the toilet in the past 4 years I have been with them. I found a new doctor in Fairfax and received thorough and stellar service in the first month. This place is horrible and please don't waste your time or money. They are only in it for the money and could care less about preventative care. They just want to operate on you and that's it. BEWARE! read more

I am looking of a new Ob-Gyn for my second baby and here is why I will not return to this place. 1) They wanted me to get ultrasound 3 times a week because the baby's stomach was skinny. I told them everyone in our family are skinny...EVERYONE and I am feeling good. The baby is kicking and I just have a good feeling everything is normal. One specialist and some doctor agreed it might be just a skinny baby. Still they started saying things like "if you don't do your ultrasound like we said YOUR BABY WILL DIE!". Those kind of intimidation crap stress the hell out of me (thus baby) otherwise I felt quite good. Anytime you go against them they show discontent like someone stole their money. Maybe that's all it's about ...$$$. They forced me to be induced a couple weeks ahead just because of the damn measurement on the ultrasound. I still don't think this was the correct call because I think the doctors just wanna say they are right and they don't want to deal with us any more. They have poor judgement and doesn't listen to good sense. 2) Lack of communication within their staff/nurses/doctors. Like one reviewer mentioned there seems to be a lack of communication and they will blame it on you. While one of the doctor was delivering my baby she asked if we attended one of those classes that teaches you how to breathe (with the attitude that it's my fault)...um nooo because we never got the memo. And nooo it's not our fault it's YOUR fault. Communicate with your staff! You guys do this day and night for years and you telling me I should know this? All and all this place stressed the crap out of me and my unborn baby. read more

I had multiple bad experiences at this practice in both their Gainesville and Manassas locations. I've never been to a practice where doctors look at you like you're crazy when you ask a legitimate medical question. I'm not the type to ask too many questions or to be difficult. I was experiencing pain on one side of my pelvis after giving birth via c-section and the doctor said, "I don't know. I"ve never heard of it and it never happened to me." What??! She didn't recommend tests or anything. She was very condescending and rude with me whenever I asked any questions about my care. And then I asked about the copper IUD that did not contain hormones (this is a fact) and she said, "All birth control IUD's have hormones, even the copper. What do you think it's doing in your body to prevent pregnancy?" I found out from a more informed doctor at another practice that what she said is not true. Do not go here! They do not respect their patients and have never provided me with valuable information or care. read more

So far I've only had one appointment with the Gainesville office for some simple blood work. My appt was on a Friday and they told me I'd get a phone call on Monday with the results. When I had received no call by 3pm on Monday, I called for my results. The lady took my info and said a nurse would have to return my call. Another hour goes by and still no phone call so I call back. This new lady says 'didn't you call about an hour ago?' and I said 'yes, no one has called me back'. She then informs me that the nurses 'actually have 12-24 hours to return the phone call'. I reminded her that I was suppose to get a phone call today anyways, I was just trying to follow up since no one bothered to call me like I was told they would. She just said the same thing over again and that's when I decided I didn't care what my results were - this practice has shitty customer service and it's not worth the frustration of relying on what they SAY is going to happen, only to be disappointed by what ACTUALLY happens. I'll go out of my way to find a practice that values its patients. THEY DO NOT. read more
